How do you figure, considering that Lashley is in the Extreme Elimination Chamber...

Ooops, you're right. I'm getting my PPV's mixed up at this point, especially since they're so close together.

I can see John Cena maybe being on the card...or some other prominent Raw guy...

Chad's card looks about as good as could be expected right now. With that being said the only match there that even remotely interests me is Sandman vs. Holly... (That could be a classic though if done under extreme rules..)..

I'd still say that without some surprise additions (Tajiri, Super Cazy Rey Mysterio, Benoit etc..) , the under card for this match is pretty much fluff or at best, an elongated versian of the stuff you'd see on Tuesday night. Jeff Hardy vs. Knox makes sense, but, if I'm gonna put Jeff Hardy on a PPV match, I'd rather it be something a little more 'exciting' than just a feud with Goatee-Zilla.

Perhaps him and Matt could reunite one time off to take on Heyman's bodyguard (The Bashams) in some falls count anywhere spotfest.

The way I'd book it would be to have Heyman meet with both Matt and Jeff backstage at Survivor Series, and start cozying up them, complementing them on their extreme style and saying how much he respected all the innovation they brought to ladder matches and all the usual verbal handjob speech methods that Heyman is so good at.

Then he goes on to say how great it would have been if the Hardy's could have brought Team Xtreme to the original ECW... All this goes on and on, until finally, Heyman makes a proposition, and the Hardy's sensing his BS, refuse him flat out.

So then later in the show (or right then and there) Heyman has The Bashams come out and destory both Matt and Jeff, posibbly even causing one of them to be unable to compete in their Survivor Series match up. Then the Hardy's make a run in on the next ECW TV taping, saving one of the top faces from a Basham's beat down, and the match is made. Simple, logical, and effective.

Cool then.

I'll call Paul later.

Tell him we said hi. ;)

Seriously though, Hardys vs. Bashams works nicely on that card and frankly, the Hardys are ideal crossover guys that would fit in ECW just as well as anywhere else.

I like it!

Well, just got off the phone with Paul E, he seemed to be in a rather chipper mood. Right after I finally got my idea by him (which took a while as he is always pretty wound up about something or another..) and he seemed to like it.

He liked it so much in fact that right after he hung up his cell phone (which is still that gargantuan 1980's model he used to carry around all the time..) he posted this article on www.ECW.com

WWE.com has been informed that ECW representative Paul Heyman has issued an open invitation to Matt and Jeff Hardy to compete this Tuesday on ECW on Sci Fi. Formerly known as Team Xtreme, Jeff and Matt Hardy have never appeared on ECW, but have long been proponents of the “extreme style.” Team Xtreme has not competed as a team in nearly five years, making the possibility of a reformation on Tuesday night as appealing as ever.

As a unit, the Hardys won multiple tag team championships, captivating audiences with their innovative and breathtaking maneuvers while providing some of the most memorable moments in sports-entertainment history. A dramatic split in 2002 tore the brothers apart, leaving WWE fans distraught at the possibility of the end of a dynasty. At Survivor Series, the Hardys will reunite as partners on Team DX, when they take on Team RKO in a Traditional Survivor Series Match.

Paul Heyman, apparently looking to trump both RAW and SmackDown is always looking for opportunities to boost ECW’s profile. In accordance, he has extended the invitation in hopes of capitalizing on the highly anticipated Hardy reunion. In an exclusive interview with ECW.com, Heyman shed more light on the developing situation.

“The Hardys have a great reputation as one of the most extreme tag teams of all time,” exclaimed Heyman. “They are unquestionably one of the most popular teams in WWE history. Much like ECW’s resurrection by popular demand in 2005, people have been clamoring for a Hardy Boyz reunion for five years. It’s time for the Hardy Boyz to not only team up again, but to do it in the biggest way possible… a reunion of Team Xtreme and their ECW debut, all rolled up into one.”

As of press time, the Hardys were yet to respond to Heyman’s offer. WWE.com however, is attempting to contact the brothers to get their answer. Check back to WWE and ECW.com throughout the weekend for more on this breaking news

He also said to send out a some Happy Hannakah wishes to Chad, Q, Snowman and Stinger... At which point I told him it was only November, but he just kept talking in spite of this until I finally had to get off the phone.

All in all, I'd say it was a pretty nice chat.

Last week on ECW on Sci Fi, the Hardy Boyz reunited for the first time in nearly five years when they defeated the F.B.I. in tag team action.

The popular duo will be together again this Sunday at Survivor Series as part of Team DX. But that won’t be the final time you will see Matt and Jeff together, as it has been announced that the Hardy Boyz will also be at the December to Dismember press conference this Monday in Augusta, Ga.

At this time, the reasoning behind Matt and Jeff’s participation at the press conference is unknown. Be sure to watch the event live on ECW.com and WWE.com this Monday at noon ET to find out.

I think it's safe to say that the Hardyz will be in action at D2D, and that's awesome. Hope they have good opponents.

Man, that'd be awesome to see them face some ECW originals...

Any idea who they'd face?

Dreamer and Sandman vs. Hardyz would be somewhat of a Hardcore dream match...

BUT, I think it'll be Hardy Boyz vs. Orton and Edge for the tag titles...that'd be a strong drawing second match...

Fans should expect the addition of a match involving the Hardy Boyz to the ECW December To Dismember card.

Although such a match has not been officially confirmed, the two will be at the PPV press conference, and speculation suggests they will announce their planned involvement against presently unknown opponents in the event.

Curiosity over the PPV card is at a peak, since its positioning only a week after Survivor Series has prevented WWE from giving the ECW-brand show a major marketing effort. Thus far, the only announced match is an Extreme Elimination Chamber bout involving CM Punk, Test, Sabu, RVD, Big Show and Bobby Lashley.

as of right now, CM Punk is beating Lashley in the vote on WWE.com

CMPunk: 35.86
Lashley: 35.83

Also, I have a bad feeling it will be just the chamber and the Hardyz match and then 2 or 3 matches thrown together at the last second. They need to announce somemore asap. AND, we checked ticket master, and they haven't even sold out that small arena yet. DAMN YOU WWE FOR BEING SLACK ON THIS!

I'll buy the DVD, but I most likely won't order it.

I'm personally hoping for about 3 more matches. The EC match should get at least 40 minutes, and I'd love to see the Hardys/MNM have a nice long match as well.

It'd be awesome if WWE could get a surprise, such as Tajiri or Masata Tanka.

I know it's ridiculous that there are only two matches announced, but am I the only one that's still quietly confident that this PPV is going to still be really good?

There's still plenty of ECW talent left to use...and I can see some solid matches being added...

I'm not worried...

According to the Wrestling Observer...

Sandman vs. Bob Holly has been added to the ECW PPV

However, I didn't find it anywhere on WWE's website. I guess that'd make a decent enough "extreme" match. Not a big fan of Sandman though, at this stage of his career.
