What if time was not an issue...what if you could take the greatest wrestlers at their primes and put them in one, super, ultimate wrestling event? Would that not be amazing? Well, imagine WRESTLEMANIA 50...They've got time machines by then
B) ...They bring in the best of the best to put on a history making event, using the best talent ever... Let your imagination run wild... CMV1's Ultimate Wrestlemania WWE Champion Shawn Michaels (in DX persona of 1997) vs. The Rock (circa 99-01) - It'd be one the greatest matches in the history of wrestling, and the crowd energy would be electric. HBK may have been one of the greatest heels of all time had he not had his career cut short, at the time, by that back injury. This will go down in history as one of the greatest matches we never got to see, but if it happened, The Rock would win after catching HBK's foot during a super kick attempt, swinging him around, and catching him with the Rock Bottom for the win. The Four Horsemen (Flair, AA, Ole, Tully w/ JJ Dillon) vs. The New World Order (Hogan, Hall, Nash, Syxx w/ Eric Bischoff) - Arguably the two greatest factions ever created clashing in one titanic 8-man tag match. At their best, this would've been booked in classic fashion. In the end, Flair would get the win over Hall with the Figure Four. Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Steamboat - The battle of two of the best workers in the history of the business. Both consistent...Steamboat great at playing the face, Jericho great at playing the heel. The two clash in a 20-minute bout w/ Steamboat reversing the Walls into a cradle for the win. This is just to give you an idea...Have fun with it...or let it sink to the bottom of the page...Choice is yours... :shooter: |

I like it...Would you really want Angle circa 1996, though? Angle was winning a gold medal and didn't know the pro-wrestling game yet...he was still 3 years away from even debuting. Make that circa 2002 (Angle's best year as a pro) and I'm with ya...that match would RULE... |

Stone Cold Steve Austin (circa 1998) vs. John Cena (cira now) - I think Cena is good enough to be carried to a great match w/ 1998 Austin. The crowd heat would once again be electric. The Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle - I know we've seen this match before, but I would've loved to have seen these guys wrestle at a Wrestlemania. Angle once said he could have the greatest match in Mania history with Taker. After seeing them wrestle earlier this year, I would've loved to have seen him try... Macho Man Randy Savage (cira 1989) vs. Triple H (circa 2000) - I'd have Trips play the heel and Savage play the maniacal face. In terms of match quality, it'd do nothing but beef up this already 4-star match heavy card. World Tag Champions The Hardy Boyz (cira 2000) vs. Sabu and RVD (circa 1998) vs. TWGTT vs. Cactus Jack (circa mid-to-late 90's) and Terry Funk (cira mid-to-late 80's) in a TLC match - Everyone in this match except for Haas would be trying to steal the show with a big spot...Imagine the spotfest this could produce... Chris Benoit (cira 2004) vs. Bret Hart (circa mid-90's) - Again, they've wrestled before, but a match b/t these two in their primes would've been unreal. Sharpshooter vs. Crossface... Three-Way Dance: Eddie Guerrero (circa 2004) vs. Mr. Perfect (circa 1991) vs. Ravishing Rick Rude (cira 1990) - This elimination style triple threat would feature three great talents...give it 16-minutes or so and let these guys go wild... Opener: Rey Mysterio (circa 1997) vs. AJ Styles - wild, crazy, fast-paced CW match... |

They should have main evented this year's mania, the triple threat that SD! was actually very good but way way to short. Nice card to, Guerrero/Rude/Henning would have been one of the most intresting things ever. |
