Whooo! This is great news for me. Good to see they haven't forgotten how to make one of their biggest PPVs of the year seem special again.

Now bring back King Of The Ring next year, and I'll be a happy mofo indeed,

Benoit vs. Guerrero is now confirmed...

I like that match...that's a good match to compliment the big two Survivor Series elimination matches...

Mysterio vs. Chavo was a little disappointing, so I'm hoping a rejuvenated Benoit can pull out a string of really good matches against Chavo.

That's big...I like that announcement a lot...that spices up the match...

This is a helluva nice card. Thanks to Raw's shittiness as of late, I've been rather down on the WWE, but this Survivor Series card is looking really good

SS sounds like it could be the best PPV of the year.

And you wanna know why it's lookin so good? Because they mixed up the brands in the survivor matches, this way we get looks a future feuds, and get to see match up we usually wouldnt....

I'm thinking I'm gonna order this show. This is the kind of show that makes you remember why you watch wrestling. Now hopefully it'll deliver on it's potential and carry over into Armageddon.

Anyone wondering if there might be a Wrestlemania match that comes out of one of these Survivor Series matches?

Start planting some seeds? That would be wise.

I think that WWE also has made this card look as good as it does for the simple fact that this will actually be the 20th Survivor Series....

That's right, the first one was in 1987, so this is Survivor Series XX.

And I usually end up satisfied with this show, just like all of the BIG FOUR, but this one has more potential than the ones in the last few years....

Damn, that makes me feel old because I remember watching the first Survivor Series live pretty much like it was yesterday. I'll never forget the Undertaker's first appearance.

At Survivor Series, Lita will put the Women’s Championship on the line against the Diva she defeated to claim the gold, Mickie James.

Back in August, Lita defeated Mickie to win the Women’s Championship on RAW. She later lost the gold to Trish Stratus at Unforgiven, but Trish’s retirement left the championship vacant. A tournament was set up, and Mickie and Lita were the final two Divas left standing. They went head-to-head in the finals at Cyber Sunday, where Lita won a Divas Lumberjack Match to become Women’s Champion for the fourth time.

The night after Cyber Sunday, Lita offered Mickie a rematch; however, with acting General Manager Eric Bischoff’s blessing, the challenger was forced to have one arm tied behind her back. This left her easy prey for Lita, who defeated Mickie for the second consecutive night to retain the title.

Now, at Survivor Series, Mickie will have a fairer opportunity to become a two-time Women’s Champion. Will the third challenge be the charm for Mickie, or will Philadelphia see Lita improve to 4-0 against her challenger?

This is what they come up with as the 7th and supposedly final match? In what way is this match more deserving than a Carlito/Cryme Tyme/London/Kindrick vs. Benjamin/Haas/Viscera/James/Stevens match? It "could be" good, but frankly I'm getting tired of these "could be" women's matches, because we all know it won't be anything other than a typical 7 minute WWE women's match.

If this is all true, you're right.

There's some omissions on this card that are puzzling, but that's nothing new.

I saw it coming, just don't think it's deserving of the final spot on the card. That, and I don't believe it'll be Lita's last match.

That's what, seven matches?

I liked Stinger's idea for another Survivor match with those guys in it, because then everyone who should be on the show would be.

Maybe they'll add another one. That would make eight matches. They'd have enough time for a nice, tight eight-match card.

Either way, at least we know they're not OVERLOADING the card (that's the benefit of doing three Survivor matches; you can fit a lot of Superstars in there without making too many matches). Now, there should be more than enough time for everything to play out.

I'm okay with it, but they should've announced it earlier last week...

It'll be an okay match, especially if it's Lita's final match.

The card as a whole will be rock solid...Every match has good potential to at least go two-stars, and most (with the exception of the women's bout and the old timer match) should be better than that...

Gentlemen, I just finished watching Survivor Series 2003...and Survivor Series 2004 not too long before that...

You know what those PPVs, particularly 2003, made me miss? It made me miss the times when the Survivor Series foreshadowed big time Wrestlemania matches, so that the momentum and anticipation could build for months on end. At SS '03, Taker lost a match that led to him becoming the Deadman again...a true mark out moment...Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar had a backstage segment that gave me chills and I'm not even a fan of Goldberg. And then, John Cena gave Big Show an FU that pretty much made me think...there's a Mania match...

2004...there was a backstage segment that set-up Kurt Angle vs. HBK. Angle said "he'd make HBK tap in seconds." That's all it took...signed, sealed, and damn sure delivered...Also, Batista started hinting that he wanted HHH's world title. In a backstage segment, he foreshadowed that he'd like to be champion. Ironically, there was a sign in the front rows at that show that said "Ha, Batista can't get over." And finally, John Cena was put over as easily the top face on SD...I mean, you knew at that point he'd be the one to face and defeat JBL.

What happened to booking like that?

As Wrestlemania time approaches, there are a few matches that I really hope to see at Mania. I don't want Mania to be a place where guys are given a chance to hopefully do something good. I want to see matches that would make me feel like it was Mania time. Nothing on last year's card, sans for maybe Rey getting a title shot, had me hyped like that...and even then it was just 2 months before the PPV.

Batista vs. Undertaker is a match I would mark out for. Why? I dunno...I wouldn't expect it to be that great of a match, but the thought of that match screams WRESTLEMANIA to me.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton is another match that, quite frankly, screams WRESTLEMANIA to me.

So, a week from Sunday...I hope we not only get a good match, but I really hope we start getting foreshadowing for Mania matches, because Wrestlemania should be built up for more than just the post-Royal Rumble months...and they didn't do that last year...

Unfortunatly Chad, while I agree that the marquee value of John Cena vs. Randy Orton is good, the delivery of that main event is ZERO! Orton still lacks that certain something, most likely more experiance, and Cena needs a credible opponent to make it look good. I am sorry to say that we are about 2 yrs out from this match happening.

Then get ready for Triple H vs. Cena II...which I really have no problem with...
