Sweeet...I wasn't expecting that... I think we'll also see Kennedy vs. Taker, Batista vs. Booker, Chavo vs. Benoit, Mickie vs. Lita, John Cena vs. Umaga, and a match involving Big Show and RVD... |

That DX team looks sweet! It'll be cool too see how each person works as part of the team, and incorperates themselves into the match.....expecially Punk, as he'll finally be fighting some worthy competition (save Mike Knox). I really would like to see Test vs. Khali for some reason. Don't ask me why, it just sounds good to me. Not even really for Survivor Series, but Snowman's statement that brought up the idea of Test and Khali in the same match really caught my attention. |

Perhaps Heyman's ECW Elimination Chamber match announcement tonight will be that the final spot will be up for grab's in an extreme rules match similar to what Snow was talking about... |

I think there might be a triple threat match for the last spot for the extreme elimination chamber. It should cosist of a SD dude, a RAW dude and finally a ECW dude. |

Posted Image RAW, SmackDown and ECW will collide in the second inter-promotional Traditional Survivor Series Elimination match of the annual November spectacular. Team Cena, led by the WWE Champion will square off with Team Big Show, led by the ECW Champion in a match combining some of sports-entertainments hottest rivalries. John Cena and Big Show have unfinished business dating back to the Champion of Champions match at Cyber Sunday. Both men were unsuccessful on that night, falling short to King Booker. The distaste between the two has only grown since. At Survivor Series, the two dominant Champions will look to add another chapter to their budding rivalry. Cena’s team will include ECW’s Rob Van Dam and Sabu and SmackDown powerhouses Lashley and Kane. Van Dam and Sabu have an extensive history as a team, as well as extensive rivalries with Big Show. Both will continue to grow on the road to the Extreme Elimination Chamber at December to Dismember. Survivor Series will provide another opportunity for them to soften up the ECW Champion before the gruesome holiday pay-per-view. The extreme giant will anchor a team that includes RAW’s Samoan Bulldozer Umaga, SmackDown’s Finlay and Montel Vontavious Porter and ECW’s wrecking ball Test. Umaga and Montel Vontavious Porter have been engaged in separate but equally intense rivalries with the Big Red Machine Kane. Umaga has had Kane’s number so far, scoring consecutive victories including decisive wins in a Loser Leaves RAW match in September, and a recent run-in at Cyber Sunday. Kane has been taking out his frustrations at his new home on SmackDown, where he has repeatedly battered the cocky M.V.P. At Survivor Series, the rivalries will continue. Finlay and Lashley will collide again at Survivor Series. The hatred between the angry Irishman and the hard hitting Lashley has spanned the better part of this calendar year, with countless battles unfolding at SmackDown arenas all over the world. Check back tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET for the announcement of another Survivor Series match. |

I agree, we need one more classic SS match. And I think it should be Carltio, Cryme Tyme, Paul London, & Brian Kendrick vs. Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, William Regal, Idol Stevens, & KC James. So far, the card is shaping up nicely (much better than I thought it would). I'm very interested in seeing Punk in the ring with DX. |

Posted Image ormer World Tag Team Champions the Spirit Squad have had their problems with the legendary “Nature Boy” Ric Flair as of late. At Survivor Series, they’ll have a heaping helping of Legend trouble, as Squad members Johnny, Kenny, Mikey and Nicky will face Flair, Dusty Rhodes and WWE Hall of Famers “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and Sgt. Slaughter in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Problems began when each member of the Squad tried to defeat Flair in singles action; three were unsuccessful before Kenny finally achieved the goal. However, a match was made pitting Flair and a legendary partner of the WWE fans’ choosing against the Squad for the World Tag Team Titles at Cyber Sunday. The options were Piper, Slaughter and Rhodes; WWE fans chose Piper, and he and the “Nature Boy” defeated Kenny and Mikey to claim the gold. Despite not being chosen, Slaughter and Rhodes were firmly in Flair & Piper’s corner, helping them dispatch the Squad following the match. But at Survivor Series, all four will get the chance to battle the cheerleading quintet. The Squad’s fifth member, Mitch, will be lurking at ringside as always; however, the Legends team will have another one in their corner, as Flair’s best friend and former Four Horsemen teammate Arn Anderson will be at ringside with them. Will experience triumph over youth once more, or will the Squad finally get it back on track against four of the all-time greats? Check back tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET for the announcement of another Survivor Series match. That's going to suck. |

Please, you are gonna let one lame match ruin the rest of the card? We have 2 very solid survivor matches outta 3, We have Undertaker vs Kennedy which will most likely get a stipulation We have Benoit vs Chavo for the US title And most likely Batista vs Booker, or those guys getting their own Survivor teams. |

This isn't that bad, really. You always have to have some filler of some kind, and frankly, I'll probably mark for Arn a li'l bit myself. ;) |

Yeah, Snow...your right...I over-reacted to that a little... I'm cool with it...just needed a few hours to let that sink in... I'm fairly confident that the booking will make it pretty damn good...It'll at least be average. Now, we just gotta worry about Booker and Batista. I thought their match at Summerslam was admirably well worked. It wasn't good by any means, but they damn sure tried...Maybe this time, with a healthier Batista, it'll be better... EDIT- I just watched the Winner Take All match from Survivor Series 2001...what'd you guys think of that match? I'm torn... |

I'm actually excited about this show--and something wrestling-related--for the first time in months. And even if this most recent match announcement isn't as hot as the others, it's still so damn cool to see Survivor Series look more like it did when I was a kid and they had many Survivor matches. We haven't had three of them in years....they gave us two--one from each brand--over the last few years, but three is an extra treat. I'm thinking that Lita/Mickie and Booker/Batista will be added to round things out, though one more Survivor match would be cool too. |

I say put a stipulation in the taker kennedy match, and get kane involved in this match somehow, i really want the brothers of destruction to come back on smackdown, so reunite them for good at survivor series. |

You know, I wouldn't mind just seeing all elimination matches, and for the first time in awhile, I think they could get by doing that. Booker/Batista, Taker/Kennedy and Chavo/Benoit should all be used at Armageddon. So if they'd do all SS matches, here's the four others that I'd put on the card and then almost everyone who's mattered recently gets on the show. Booker/Chavo/Kennedy/James/Stevens vs. Batista/Benoit/Undertaker/London/Kendrick Hardcore/Thorne/Striker/Dupree/Burke vs. Balls/Sandman/Dreamer/Snow & Richards (maybe FBI in their place) Carlito/JTG/Shad/Crazy/Venis vs. Benjamin/Haas/Masters/Murdoch/Cade Mickie/Maria/Trinity/Ashley/Jillian vs. Lita/Melina/Ariel/McCool/Kristal |
