Excellent news, imo, on Edge vs. Cena continuing toward the big TLC match...that's where Edge will show why he's champion to all those that still have their doubts about him... Oh, and as for the idea of Trips vs. Edge...I was very much in support of Trips and Edge being held off until Mania 23...and I like Cav's idea of having Edge hold the belt...or at least have the belt back...until Mania... Trips vs. Edge would kick ass... |

They could kill time from Survivor Series through WrestleMania by having Edge defend against the likes of Carlito (why not bump him up into a title feud; he doesn't have to win it just yet, but could be a good opponent for Edge). Kane's also a possibility. If he really does plan on retiring in 2007, why not at least put him in a headline feud for the years he's put in with the company? I know he's on record as saying that he doesn't want to be champion and the younger guys need the rub, but he should at least get one more high-profile feud before it's all said and done. He doesn't even have to lose cleanly to Edge or anything like that; he could face him at the Royal Rumble for the title, and if they'd plan ahead and set-up a decent opponent for Kane for WrestleMania 23, that person could show up and cost him the match, setting up that feud and allowing Edge to move on to the Rumble winner/#1 Contender for WM23. |

Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio is now confirmed..... My guess is that we'll see Finlay vs. Lashley vs. Regal get made next week on SmackDown!...... |

Glad to see Chavo vs. Rey get added... As for SS this year being better than last year's...I dunno about that. I was initially disappointed w/ Summerslam 2005, but after watching it again earlier this year, it was actually quite an event, w/ only the finish to the Hogan-HBK match and the Hardy-Edge match in general being disappointments...Everything else on that card, from Jericho-Cena to Orton-Taker to Hogan-HBK to Eddie-Rey...that was a helluva PPV... I'm looking forward to this year's event as well, but I'm looking at it more as event that will be worth a watch, but not something I'd want to go back and check out again (like '05) |

He won't fit in; the match with Khali was moved from SummerSlam to next week's SmackDown!, so he won't have a match on the card. Sure I'd like to see him on the card, but the way he's been booked and who he's been booked against recently doesn't allow for him to have a spot on this joint-brand event. |

What the hell? See, this is yet another PPV caliber match they're blowing on regular TV. Great stuff, but I'd rather see something like that on this card. I'll bet you either Big Show or Khali interferes in that match, probably targeting Taker, and we're going to be stuck with Taker-Khali anyways. Oh joy. |

Pretty sure he's joking Q, because not only is that not reported anywhere, but it makes no sense to add Undertaker to that match. As it stands, it's Sabu vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam in a Triple Threat Ladder Match this Tuesday on ECW to determine who will face Big Show at SummerSlam. Again, I wouldn't worry about any Undertaker/Khali match at SummerSlam. Not only has the idea actually been shot down on WWE PROGRAMMING, but the word is that WWE officials have so little faith in Khali's ability to even take part in what's essentially a match with no rules (Last Man Standing) against a veteran like Undertaker, that that's why they decided to move the match to this coming week's SmackDown! instead, where they can tape it and edit it before it airs, as opposed to being on a live pay-per-view. |

The idea of Taker getting involved in a ladder match for the ECW title #1 contendership didn't get my hopes up...it made me roll my eyes and not want to watch ECW on Tuesday... Thank God that rumor is false! |

I second that. I like Taker and all, and he can still work a great match (as evident by NWO vs. Angle), I didn't want to see him in this ladder match at all. |

Well, the thing is Crim... There's just not a whole lot that could be considered outrageous these days in the wrestling world... Sure, it may have seemed that throwing Taker in that match was outrageous enough to be a joke...but things as dumb as that have been happening all year... I mean, an outrageous joke last year would've been to say that Triple H would turn face, join up with HBK, and reform DX to take on the dastardly McMahons... But that happened... So it's all good...but it'll be tough to make a joke that won't be taken with at least a spoon (rather than a grain) of salt... Here's one... The Great Khali is expected to defeat Batista and feud with him over the WHC until 2007...That's funny, right? Well, no...because that could very well happen... You just never know what fucked up thing McMahon will come up w/ next... |

Okay, according to The Wrestling Observer, the following matches/feuds are NOT expected to make the SummerSlam card: -Spirit Squad vs. The Highlanders -London & Kendrick vs. Idol & KC James -A U.S. title match -Johnny Nitro vs. Kane (remember, Kane is the #1 Contender for Nitro's IC title) Those would be in addition, of course, to Undertaker/Great Khali. I think we're looking at two ECW matches now, based on this news and recent house shows. Recent house shows have had Sabu/Big Show and Angle/RVD, so I expect those two to go on Sunday so there will be four RAW matches and two matches apiece from each SmackDown! and ECW, making a total of eight matches for SummerSlam. |

That, in my honest opinion, Cav, is the best way to go... Angle-RVD and Show-Sabu both are potentially good matches. Sabu and Show have had a month worth of house show bouts to get ready for their title match...that's a good match on paper if you consider how strong Show has been working in the hardcore environment. Add those two strong matches to Rey-Chavo and Foley-Flair, and then compliment them with potentially strong storyline-drive bouts in Edge-Cena and DX-McMahons...that's a pretty good way to mask the potential eyesores in Hogan-Orton and Batista-Book, both of which still intrigue me btw, and produce a damn solid looking card... |

You know, i dont know why Undertaker sucks at ladder matches... All he has to do is step up like 3 rungs and then he can reach whatever is up there. Anyways im ordering SS and lookin foward to it. Im having a huge party and youre all invited.... of course thats on bitch of a commute |
