Personally I voted for the US Title. Even though it has less impact in WWE, the US title was HUGE in WCW. Look at both lineages and to me it just doesnt stack up. |

Sentimentality immediately makes me want to fire off IC without a second thought, but looking this over...I'm actually having a dilenma. I'll get back to this and edit my post accordingly after I vote... EDIT: Yup, US Title. Cool thread! :) |

I am sure I will be on my own for this...but I voted for the IC title...I realize the lineage isn't that long compared to the US Title, but when I think of some of the storylines and some of the guys that have held the title I immediately think of what impact the title used to have in this business... A lot of guys that held the IC title later became your top guys in WWE. Stone Cold, The Rock, Bret Hart, Triple H, even Ric Flair held the IC title. The lineage may not be as long, but there has never been a more impressive resume than the IC title in my opinion! |

I voted for the IC title due to the amount of former WWE champions were produced as a result of strong IC title runs. Ultimate Warrior...Macho Man Randy Savage...Bret Hart...Triple H...The Rock...Steve Austin... Both lists are virtual "Who's Who" of wrestling history, but I feel the IC title guys are stronger... Plus I'm biased towards WWE |

Sting, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Dusty Rhodes, Barry Windham, Steve Austin, Steamboat, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, DDP, Bret Hart, Chris Benoit, Booker T, Kurt Angle.......just when it was WCW US title. |

If I had voted on sentimentality and WWE bias, Chad basically took my thoughts on that end of it word for word. Academically, though, I'm not sure how anyone could dispute the US Title. In any case, both titles deserve a salute. :) |

Well obviously with almost any WWE title, there is going to be some fondness to look back on....I mean it's the WWE. Hell there tag titles (Now on RAW) used to be the most prestigious anywhere....It was a BIG DEAL when they got defended. When the Bulldogs took on the Hart Foundation.....or the Nasty Boys, or the Rougeus. The IC will obviously have more sentiment with most of us, since all of us watched WWE more than WCW/NWA when we were coming up. It was just a bigger deal. But, my vote is basede on lineage, name power.... |

And that's where it counts and where I feel the US Title wins. |

In the Federation Days the Intercontinental title would be a massive step in your career and woudl insure a big push. But in this day and age I got to say the U.S is more important. |
