Posted Image Rob Van Dam is cashing in his Money in the Bank championship opportunity at a place where he feels most comfortable - ECW One Night Stand. John Cena has had his back against the wall many times before, yet he's still managed to walk away with his WWE Championship. Come June 11, however, RVD will have the ultimate home-field advantage when he challenges Cena for the WWE Championship. Will Cena once again find a way to defy the odds and remain WWE Champion? Or will Van Dam cash in on his opportunity? Find out at ECW One Night Stand. Posted Image After months of battling each other both physically and verbally, Mick Foley and Edge have somehow developed a unique relationship. Recently on RAW, Foley extolled the virtues of Edge’s hardcore credentials, claiming Edge embodied all that is hardcore, as opposed to the slime from ECW. Foley then awarded the Rated-R Superstar the “un-retired” Hardcore Championship. Edge wouldn’t accept it, however, instead wanting Foley to have it. They looked as if they were going to fight, but the Rated-R Superstar instead had Lilian Garcia announce them as co-holders of the Hardcore Championship. Finally, Paul Heyman emerged from the back to break up the love fest, telling Foley that he couldn’t believe the Hardcore Legend prostituted his legacy for a mutual admiration society with Edge & Lita. He then threw out a challenge for the “co-Hardcore Champions” to face any two of what Foley called “the slime that escaped from ECW” at One Night Stand. They initially refused, but after Heyman said that Lita had more balls than them, Edge accepted. The trio then came after Paul, who introduced them to their pay-per-view opponents: Tommy Dreamer & Terry Funk! ECW's hardcore duo attacked Edge & Foley with various weapons, sending the icons scurrying out of the arena. There will be no running away at One Night Stand. What will happen when four of the most hardcore Superstars in sports-entertainment history collide at this extreme event? Watch the pay-per-view on June 11 to find out. MORE MATCHES TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON |

I hope the Dudleys and everyone else can make it again. It's not going to feel right not to have them and some other around. In any event, I'm still looking forward to this. |

Benoit vs. Malenko sounds like a great opening match-up similar to what Jericho-Storm was last year... I don't see how anyone couldn't be looking forward to this...I LOVED ONS last year to the point that I was brainwashing myself into thinking ECW could come back full-time as a replacement for SD. Trips vs. RVD is a great way to go IF they plan on keeping Trips as a heel... BUT I think the best route at this point is to keep the belt on Cena. I am positive that RVD in his environment can carry Johnny to a great outing, especially with that rabid crowd behind it. |

I'm all for most of those ideas, however, one thing, if Cena thinks that WWE crowds were harsh on him then he has seen absolutley NOTHING yet. An ECW crowd would bring that jive turkey to tears within the first five minutes... All in all I think trips would be a much better choice OR, they could keep the WWE presence out entirely and have RVD switch shows and challenge Mysterio instead. This would be an amazing match and also Van Dam would be better of on SD as champion as there wouldn't be the decided Triple and John Cena factors working against him. My dream card for ONS RVD vs Rey ( WWE Title match) Mick Foley vs Terry Funk Chris Benoit vs Dean Malenko Tanka/Awesome II Balls Mahoney vs New Jack The Sandman vs Tommy Dreamer Tajiri vs Super Crazy Guido vs Kid Kash Al Snow vs Stevie Richards (plus some other stuff) |

^^^I think that is what WWE is hoping for...to get the crowd so hostile that Cena just turns full blown heel on them....it's ECW....they will have a lot more room to just let him go off on the crowd. I can't wait to see it. |

Would love to see Cena do that. I too cannot wait to see it. Jules, your card looks pretty good. I'd get rid of New Jack though, then again I can't stand that guy. One "wrestler" that I have ZERO respect for. Turns out that poster was a fake, so I guess no Sabu and probably no Eliminators. That's too bad. This should be a good show, and hopefully this year we get a tag match involving The Impact Players (one of my fav teams from any promotion). Sadly though, Steve Corino says he's had no discussion with WWE about appearing, and he has no plans to do so. Wish he would though, Corino is the man. |

Dude that sig kicks ass! Kudos to you. Now while I can respect your opinion on New Jack, I must also respectfully disagree. I find most of his matches to be pretty entertaining for what they are. And believe it or not if you were ever to track down some of his REALLY early Smoky Mountain tapes, he actually can wrestle. It's just nobody hires New Jack to put on a mat classic. I noticed up there, I didn't have any tag matches. This is inexcusable... But then again the best I could think of right now would probably be Meanie and Nova vs Roadkill and Danny Doring... Unless we get the Eliminators ( and they'e not both washed up and fat looking), then you could put them up against anyone (perhaps Eliminators vs Benoit & Malenko) and it would be a damn good match. |

I'll take your word about New Jack Jules, though the the style of "wrestling" he gets booked for isn't my problem with him. Anyone who says they wanted to hurt this person, or wanted this person to die, I've got no use for. He's an ass who could give a fuck if he hurts someone. He should be banned from wrestling altogether. And I'd love to see Eliminators vs. Impact Players. |

Now that would be a cool match. Hopefully as I said both Eliminators would be in game shape, and Justin Credible isn't too bitter at WWE (For basically damn near crippling his ability to draw money on the indies by taking away his name.) And if Lance Storm shows up, perhaps he could have the ROH world title with him by then. lol.. I know, not gonna happen. |

Talk about a mark out moment ^ He might, I mean he did say that his time in ECW was nothing but fun for him. But then again given the kind of money he wanted from TNA.. It's also as unlikely as it is likely. I was just thinking of something stupid the WWE could do at ONS to get a laugh out of me.. Forgive the idiocy of the following paragraphs. ( In the dressing room before ONS, Stone Cold Steve Austin has just walked into the hallway and is grabbing a beer from his cooler when he is suddenly approached by the Japanese Buzzsaw Tajiri.) Tajiri - *Says something in Japanese* SC: What? Tajiri: *Says something even less understandable than the previous statement* SC: What? Tajiri: *Mutters a few more things in broken english to Steve Austin that seem both inflamatory and complimentary at the same time. SC: What? Tajiri: Woot? ( With that final mockey by Tajiri Stone Cold throws Tajiri head first into the wall and then squeezes his head under the lid of the cooler.. All the while screaming WHAT! WHAT? WHAT!!!??) (Later on that night. Mikey Whipwreck is standing in the center of the ring cutting a heelish promo ( to a face reaction), about how he has been under-appreciated AND stolen from. He talks about how he has defeated Stone Cold in the past and also how Austin stole his finisher 'The Whipper Snapper'... Finally the glass breaks and out comes Stone Cold, drunk as hell and ready to fight...) SC: Mikey Shit-Wipe.. I've owed you a can a whoop ass for quite some time now and I think it's fine time that I served it to you right here tonight! ( The bell rings and the two begin an impromtu bout. Steve Austin pulverizes Mikey for the majority of the match, until Mikey catches Austin with a lucky Stunner/Whipper Snapper. Austin now staggers and falls onto the ropes where from out of nowehere he recieves an ear splitting kick from Tajiri! This sends Austin down to the mat where Mikey then proceeds to cover him for a two count! Austin now enraged gets up and starts swinging wildly at everything in sight. Mikey ducks out of the ring and Austin gives chase, however just when he pokes his head in between the ropes he is met with GREEN MYST!!!! Austin now blinded staggers around the ring in a daze.. Mikey nails Austin with a stunner and pins him for the one two three! ( With a handfull of Austin's belt) Now how awesome would that be? |

Well, since my last idea went over so well, I think I'll try myself another one. Ahem... We're halfway through ECW Sloppy Seconds when all of a sudden some very familiar music comes up over the PA... JOHNNY! NICKEY! MIKEY! KENNY! MITCHEY! AND WE ARE... THE SPIRIT SQAUD!! At this point all five members are in the ring. Kenny - So, I hear you ECW fans like to chant! Mitch - Yeah! Nickey - Well. so do we! Johnny - And we've got ourselves a special chant made out just for you! Mike - That's right! In unison... Two, four, six, eight! What do we really hate! CHEESEGRADERS CHEESEGRADERS RAH RAH RAH! One, two, three, four, who's to blame for making us snore! ECW! ECW! ECW! ECW! *at this point the ECW fans start a classic "You suck dick" chant...* Johnny - Hey, that's not very nice! Why I... ( gets cut off by a sudden shotgun blast) ( Natural Born Killas starts playing over the PA's and all over the Hammerstein people can be seen throwing up the gangstas 'X' signal.) From the entrance through a cloud of orange smoke comes NEW JACK, with a shopping cart loaded with Bazookas, AK-47's. Samuri Swords, Chainsaws, and assorted Ammunition belts. Total Mayhem Ensues! Jack gets in the first shot! Posted Image Now the Sqaud members circle New Jack as he pulls out from his shopping cart two 8 inch blades. Jack now goes back on the attack as The Spirit Sqaud flees for their lives.... Unfortunately not everyone gets away... Posted Image Posted Image NJ now focuses his attack on the three surving members of the sqaud.. However he is blind-sided by one of them and then they all pounce off the trampoline and mash onto him for a quick three count! New Jack: DAMN! They would not enjoy their victory for long though as Jack has somehow caughten up with them all backstage in the parking lot! Posted Image One white bitch down! two more to go! (New Jack now blazes away after the others) Joey Styles: Oh my god..... |

The card is shaping up. I guess since there will be no "Invasion" angle like last year, they figure they'll dump some WWE guys in the matches. If RVD loses, I'll be royally pissed. |

It'll pretty much negate everything that's happened since he came back. Cena HAS to lose at some point. At least make the loss meaningful? Not a "shocker" to Umaga or some BS like that? |

I've begun to really fear that Cena will, indeed win this.... I think, however, that it may be via some sort of chicanery, whether it be a run-in by another WWE Superstar or superstar(s). I've grown tired of Cena again..... I sat here and watched that match he had with Masters last night, and I really, truly realized something..... People are always saying Cena is terrible in the ring. Well, he comes off that way sometimes, but it's more this than anything: Cena is LAZY in the ring. Just flat-out LAZY. I watched him dog it in there last night. He had Hogan clotheslines, the kind that look like they wouldn't flatten a grandma, let alone a 275-pounder in his physical prime...... He even used one on Masters from behind that set up the STFU, and it was just shitty. Just fucking awful........ |

Well I think that's what WWE wants to do....feed Cena to the wolves....have him lose and then turn heel due to the fans finally getting to him. |

I'll be looking for a Corporation/McMahon type swerve situation.
LOL! You mean there was a period of time where you stopped being tired of him? Shoot, it's been MONTHS now for me since I grew weary of this routine.
All true. Did I mention that the STFU is ghey? Apparently a lot of other people agree with me on that. That's when the booing really heats up for sure. All Cena has to do to keep getting heel heat is using that wretched move in an unbelievable manner, like what you're referring to. It's amazing to see how fast everyone taps out to that thing...even HHH! I couldn't agree with you more. Beyond that factor: He's held on to the belt for too long. NO ONE should sit on a belt for this long. It's stale and lacking in variety. |
