I might get the Jake DVD at fye, seeing as there is supposed to be a special second disc with a handful of matches on it. I can do without excerpts from those books if it comes to getting extra material on "The Snake." The Hitman one I'm not sure about yet. WWE.com has a combo deal -- the DVD and the special magazine that goes along with it (gotta get that too if you were a big Hitman mark) for $25.47. Deepdiscountdvd has Bret's DVD at like $18 and change I believe. Life's tough decisions.... :P |

You probably can just flip a coin when you do the math. If WWE.com is the only way to get that magazine, then that's probably the way we should do it. |

Actually I was thinking we'll see how much the magazine is, probably five or six bucks maybe, and could still even order the DVD at deepdiscount at the $18 and change clip they listed it at. The magazine should be available in stores.... It looks like the price will end up about the same whether you order from WWE or buy the DVD at deepdiscount and the mag in the store. |

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter - Due to time constraints, a lot of the matches that Bret Hart wanted on his DVD were cut. Including the Iron Man match between him and Michaels. Some believe that WWE purposely left that one off so people think that Hart didn’t want it on the DVD. Doing that would give the feeling that Bret left it out as a shot to Michaels, which wasn’t the case. However others say that it was simply the logical choice to make; get rid of the match that runs over an hour long to meet the timing requirements. It's logical choice to make because it's already been released on the HBK DVD. I'm glad they didn't put that match on their. Although they could have, and should have, put HBK vs Hart from Survivor Series 92 on there. Same thing with Hart vs. 123 Kid from RAW, and Hart vs. Austin from Survivor Series 96. But those are just minor problems I have with the disc, it's still looks like a great one. And I ordered it from WWE.com. Q, let me know when DeepDiscount has that big sell. |

DVD REVIEW: Posted Image "Bret 'Hitman' Hart: The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be" Overall Grade: A+++ Disc 1: Career Story/Interviews: Excellent, very informative, very emotional when he speaks of his family, his friends that have passed. He handles himself very very well with the Montreal topic. Covers every big feud he had, Stone Cold, Yoko, Owen, Davey Boy, Mr. Perfect, Days with Hart Foundation, his feelings about wrestlers...etc. Everyone on the dvd speaks very highly of him, not one bad thing said. Extras: Many extra interview snipets. Tribute videos to fallen friends, his brother Dean Hart. 2 Matches: **Hart Foundation vs. British Bulldogs (7/13/85)** **Hart Foundation vs. Killer Bees (2/17/86) Disc 2: Matches: vs. British Bulldog: Summerslam 1992 vs. Bam Bam: Barcelona, Spain (4/24/93) vs. Mr. Perfect: KOTR 1993 vs. Owen Hart: Wrestlemania X 1994 vs. Ricky Steamboat: Boston Garden(3/8/86) vs. Ted DiBiase: Odessa, TX (3/8/89) Hart Foundation vs. Rockers: SNME (4/28/90) Hart Foundation vs. Nasty Boys: Wrestlemania VII 1991 vs. Mr. Perfect: Summerslam 1991 Disc 3: Matches: vs. Owen Hart: White Plains, NY (9/29/94) vs. Hakushi: In Your House (5/14/95) vs. Diesel: Survivor Series 1995 vs. British Bulldog: In Your House (12/17/95) vs. Steve Austin: Wrestlemania 13 1997 vs. Undertaker: One Night Only (9/20/97) vs. Chris Benoit: Owen Tribute/Nitro (10/4/99) Overall, this is the best dvd I have ever seen from the WWE. A fitting tribute to Bret's career, and a must buy for any wrestling fan. And let me just add, I bought this Tuesday morning just after midnight. I stayed up til 7:30 in the morning watching the whole thing....it is that addictive and amazing. |

Glad to hear it. I can't wait to get the DVD. Sadly, I haven't been able to find it around here anywhere. I had the same problem with the Undertaker DVD though. I got the magazine though, it's a really good one. It's got a nice interview in it. This DVD sounds awesome. |

Take advantage of the sale at DD DVD like I am. The sale ends Friday. For sure, their prices on wrestling DVD's are the best I've ever seen, even without this super sale. |

I was able to spare a few bucks out of the old paycheck for myself, and I picked up Bret's DVD and magazine at Wal-Mart on Friday. Then I remembered that we were in the last day of the sale at Deep Discount DVD and went over there and used one of Q's codes to get the new Jake Roberts DVD for $12.94. That's right, $12.94! Dirt cheap! Wal-Mart is always good on prices, but that's almost 10 bucks less than what they had it for Friday when I saw it in there.... |

If nothing else, DDDVD, especially with this sale, has ludicrously good prices on wrestling DVD's. I'm going to make a small cleanup run myself here... |

I just finished the documentary portion of Bret's DVD.... Probably the most thorough DVD documentary the WWE has ever produced. I can't think of anything that deserved to be covered that was left out.... Excellent.... |

I finished this DVD Sunday, and it's just awesome. If I were to nitpick, there'd be maybe a couple more matches I'd like to have on there, but what the hell.... 18 matches and a 2-plus hour documentary is sweet enough.... Buy this if you don't already own it.... |

It's a worthwhile DVD for nostalgia purposes or for people that try to write abuot things that happened before they were even alive and clearly, and repeatedly, show their ignorance. DVD's like these can easily help people like that get educated and make less misinformed statements about things. It's a packed set and if you get it at cheap places like Wal-Fart or Deep Discount DVD, it's really a bargain. |

Yeah, that was a good DVD...It's one that I can't really see pulling out very often, but it's got some solid stuff on there. I think the highlight of the DVD is the 5-star classic between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat. Sure, their hour-long wars were great, but the one on this DVD was 24-minutes of pure in-ring brilliance...i'd buy it just to see that match, if i were you... Anybody read the HBK book yet? I hope to be picking that up for Christmas, along with BRet's DVD... |
