[PIRATE] ●»»<span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'> Out of Character Name/Alias: Grace Age: 14 Contact: PM's are fantasticccc Other Characters: Not yet... ●»» In Character .__General Info__. Full Name: Noah Lyons Jacobson Pirate Name: Thomas Lionheart Pirate Name Explanation: Noah -> Thomas (Father's Name) -> Thomas Jacobson -> Lyons (middle name) -> Lion -> Lionheart -> He is very brave, albeit not very bright, and has a large amount of pure courage Age: 15 Gender: Male .__Appearance__. Overall Appearance: Noah Jacobson may not be much in the intellectual department, but what he lacks in brainpower he makes up in sheer looks. The boy is pretty, it's a fact, with a fantastically chiseled jawline, captivating green eyes, and a wide, surprisingly white smile for a pirate. A word to describe his general boyish attractiveness would be 'handsome', although on more than one occasion he's been patted on the head and complimented on his 'kiddish looks'. This drives him crazy, as in his own mind Noah is convinced that he looks every part of a man... While in reality, his height may be the only thing that makes him anything close to a full-grown man. Maybe if he just lost those dimples... As for his body, posture and body language, Noah is a rather muscular young man... Yet how could he not be, as he's spent so much time as a sailing pirate and gained impressive biceps from constantly pulling ropes, not to mention that toned, smooth abdomen from scurrying around and taking care of the 'everything else' his senior pirates ordered him to do. Noah, too, stands oddly proud for a person of his position; he doesn't slump, and instead radiates a certain degree of false confidence when he stands, sits or walks. It's all bravado, however, as you can tell by his uncertain and somewhat shy body language. When speaking to someone he isn't familiar with, he does manage to meet their eye with his own, although his hands often jump nervously to his hair or wring themselves together, unbeknownst to him. Also, when nervous or under pressure, Noah has a nasty and most unflattering habit of stuttering, and this is why he usually avoids the captains of whomever's ship he may be on... Pirate captains terrify him, all but his sister of course. Noah dresses conservatively as well, in clothes that are not cheap but are not extravagant or overly lavish, either. He wears simple trousers and loose-fitting white shirts, the latter of which often fall open at his chest, giving him a deep tan all across his upper half that usually merely adds to his mounting sex appeal. He keeps a long, menacingly curved knife in his belt at all times, more for the intimidation factor than an actual weapon, although he is no novice in managing the blade. His high, thick black boots are slightly too big for his feet, but he wears them anyway just to look that much more 'masculine'. In short, Noah's a good-looking guy but still looks like a boy... and that is the bane of his existence. Hopeful Celebrity: Jared Padalecki Picture: ![]() Effects: -x A long, well-polished, curved knife (8 inches) -x A short, thick dagger with a very sharp point made from bone -x A pistol .__Personality__. Personality: This boy is smooth, sweet and just a little bit slow. He's got a sense of humor to battle any other, and his wide, toothy grin is infectious. He's eager to help when he can, although if he were to choose between a beautiful maiden and helping another... he would not be so selfless as to pass up that opportunity. Likewise, the boy loves money and valuable possessions, and if he is offered monetary payment or an object in exchange for his help, he will rarely if never turn it down. Yeah, the kid's not stupid. Well... This brings us to another point. Although his well-known twin sister is exceptionally bright and talented in aspects of intelligence, Noah is far less so and often feels sulky or self-depreciating, telling himself that life is unfair since Ivory 'stole' all of the 'smarts'. He can neither read nor write, a secret that he keeps to himself and that Ivory may or may not know... If he is ever asked to read something or told to write something, he finds some way to talk himself right out of it and usually offers other services in place of it. And speaking of other services, Noah is a bit of a woman-chaser, with enough hormones for three grown men plus. He 'falls in love' more than he changes clothes, and when he sees a pretty girl, his attention slips off of whatever he may be doing at the time and all of his energy and focus is put into said girl. This may either be bad or good for the girl; while he is extremely cute, he is also extremely smooth with speaking to women, often giving them the impression that he is an arrogant jerk... Which does hold some truth to it, since Noah knows that he's handsome and that being a pirate is an adventurous and somewhat alluring title... However, as for jerk? The guy is anything but. Piracy, too, is something that Noah is neutral about. He has not yet had to kill anyone yet, and when the ships he's on stop to pillage, plunder or raid a particular port, he has so far always found a way to get out of joining them and instead stays on the ship to keep watch... A lousy excuse, but thanks to his superb acting skills, he can usually get away with it. As a person, Noah is a bit rough around the edges, very tactful and very kind, yet the major drawback is that he's a bit dull. As a pirate, Noah is considered a bit of a softie, yet his talent with his hands and sheer bulk and muscle is enough to keep him on the ship. As a pirate in hiding... Well, let's just say that Noah is having way too much fun with the women to even stop for an evaluation. Personal History: Thomas, or Tom, Jacobson and Maria Jacobson were as opposite as the North and South Poles. Thomas was an ex-pirate, a man who loved the sea above all things, but had encountered a white squall near his 20th year of age, and thus fore sought to take refuge on solid land. His wife, Maria, was a woman who had no real interest in sailing the high seas, and had, in fact, never left the island on which she'd been born. She was a simple woman and he a complex man, yet for some reason they met and fell in love... The two were married, Tom a cobbler and Marie a seamstress. Within a few years of their marriage, Noah and Genevive were born, and thus kicks off his story. Noah, or now Thomas, was born seven minutes after his older twin sister... a sure foreshadowing of the rest of his life. He was always behind her in everything the two did, although they maintained a tight friendship despite Noah's vicious jealousy and inability to do things half as well as Ivory could. He was never as bright, never as quick and never as creative, although he did have one thing she had never managed to obtain; he was smooth, a boy with a big heart and a natural charm that reeled in ladies and got him out of most sticky situations. The downside? He was in so many sticky situations by the time he was ten that eventually, in his family at least, his charm lost its appeal. However, around that same time, tragedy struck in the form of Noah losing both of his parents. This struck the boy particularly hard, as he had been fairly close to both of them, although his father was his hero. Thomas had been teaching his young son to fight with knives, a talent that was far more difficult than one would thing. He was preparing the boy, he claimed, for self-defense when the situation would arise, although secretly both men knew that Thomas longed for Noah to become a pirate just like he had once been... And now was his opportunity. With his parents gone and only his genius of a sister by his side, Noah was easily convinced by Genevive into a life of piracy. He was drawn to the sea by a supernatural call, a voice that he believed belonged to his father... And so, fittingly, Noah changed his name to Thomas, and Genevive, who had always teased him for having a big heart and an abundance of blind courage mingled with impulsiveness, dubbed him Thomas the Lionhearted... Which, in turn, became Thomas Lionheart. She, too, concealed her identity, and the two sailed the seas for five years, stowing away and becoming part of various pirate crews... Until a single, harrowing experience frightened the both of them just enough so that they immediately withdrew from the seafaring life, and sought refuge in Tortuga... Although both of them know that this separation from the seas that they love could never last forever. Family: -x Thomas Jacobson – Father -x Maria Jacobson - Mother -x Genevive Jacobson / Ivory Sun - Sister (twin) Love Interests on TTC: None .__Conclusion__. Any extra information we need to know about? Well. As you can see, I messed up and registered with his actual name prior to reading into everything... >.< I understand if I need a good backslap!! But yes, if it wouldn't be too much trouble to change his name on the account to Thomas Lionheart...? I'd appreciate it SO much. And yes, it is a fairly lame pirate name, but hey. Best I could come up with. xD RP example: Tom sat at the helm of the ship, arms leaning loosely in between the rounded, shining grips, eyes glazed over as he stared lazily out towards the horizon. The sun was slowly sinking beneath the glimmering, blue-green water, the sky streaked with violent oranges, bloody crimsons and pale yellows. His lips were set in a thin line as they always were when he was thinking - a rare phenomenon, this is true, but it's impossible for any human not to think - and his dark hair was falling elegantly into his dark, jade eyes... The boy was pondering, always a dangerous thing, although quite pleasant to witness. His loose-fitting white shirt rippled about his firm, toned body in the light breeze that was picking up with the oncoming twilight, open at the chest to reveal tanned, taught skin over even more muscle. He was a handsome boy, there was no denying that; yet was that all he was? With a slight sigh, Noah adjusted his position, standing up straight and turning to leaning back-to-helm, his gaze now slipping onto the busy port of Tortuga. Women in colorful dresses and rouged cheeks bustled about, their hair all coiled neatly and piled upon their heads... Men, too, filthy from a day's work, were milling through the scattered throng of people, some calling out prices for goods they were attempting in vain to sell, others leering disturbingly at the women... And then there was Noah, known more widely as Tom, standing at the helm of an anchored and empty ship, just watching life as it slowly passed... He missed sailing. He missed the excitement, the comradery of a crew despite the rough pirate language and foul pirate moods. He missed his sister in high spirits, that light of wonder and happiness constantly alive in her eyes, eyes that mirrored their mother's to a T. He missed the thrill of battle, the feel of a heavy cannon beneath his rough, calloused hands, the lighting of a fuse and the cannonball ripping from the cannon, splintering a gaping whole in the enemy ship... He missed it all, yet was terrified to go back. Another sigh slipped from those gorgeous lips, and he ran a hand absently through his hair. What he needed right now was a distraction, any sort of distraction, to get his mind out of its melancholy rut and back onto his usual optimistic disposition... And he got one. [ LAME, I'm sorry, I swear I usually write better endings... But I'm pressed for time and I have to go. SORRYyyyy! ] ●»» Confirmation .__Proof of Plot__.
