.__General Info__.
Full Name: Aidan Alexander Michael Christensen-Crane
Pirate Name: Aidan Crane
Pirate Name Explanation: Alexander received his name during his younger days working in a busy pub. He was a bus boy of sorts and was constantly on the move. Since he was so timid and quick he was given the nickname Aidan which was Celtic for little spark of fire. The name stuck with Alexander well after his childhood, in fact there are very few who know his true name. Aidan’s last name is truly Christensen. However he was adopted under the name of his godfather (and pub owner) Crane, several months after his parents passed.
Age: 21
Gender: Male

.__Appearance__.
Overall Appearance: Although Aidan is just twenty one years old, he has certainly aged due to the early wears of life on the high seas. Aidan has a rather distinct face, which is defined by his strong bone structure. His cheekbones sink in just a slight bit, and his chin is square, and more often than not adorned with facial hair stubble. One might assume that he looks a bit sickly, if not for his warm amber irises so full of light, framed by short stubby eyelashes. In addition to Aidan’s eyes, his smile is a rather lively one although many do not get to see it due to his serious nature. His teeth would be near perfect if not for the golden canine tooth on his right side. The tooth was knocked out after a forgotten drunken evening. Being of Spanish, French, and German blood, the combination has left Aidan’s skin a lightly tanned hue. He is more prone to getting sunburns than actual tans, despite the fact that he is out on the turquoise waters. In terms of scarring, the young pirate has a rather deep one spanning over his abdominal. A dirty bar fight, nearly cost him his life after a dagger sliced him open. To this day Aidan claims that angels had been watching him closely that evening.

Aside from this there are several scratches located on his back and arms due to various minimal events out to sea. The pirate has a well chiseled body due to years of labor both out in the ocean and on land. He sports a single tattoo on his upper left arm, a simplistic anchor. Aidan’s hair is a deep chocolate color, and is rather untamable. Usually Aidan does not allow it to grow past his ears, due to the fact that it is ridiculously thick and tangles easily. He is known to tie it back or put a bandanna over it to keep his wild mane under control.
Sometimes he will occasionally wear a medium sized black pirate hat with a single white feather. In terms of additional style, Aidan is not ostentatious like most pirates. He wears an off-white long sleeve peasant top with fluffy sleeves, basic black trousers, and high suede boots in a caramel color. Usually this ensemble is paired with a long vest in powder blue that has quite a bit of wear to it. When the weather allows it, Crane will wear a deep sea foam trench coat with dull yellow accents and brass buttons.
Aidan keeps his style very simple, which is just his nature…while he does enjoy the occasional boasting he doesn’t like extra attention drawn onto him. In terms of weapons, Aidan has quite a variety that he always keeps on him. The first is an aged dagger that he keeps hidden within his high boots. The second is a basic pistol, which Aidan keeps on his belt along with a pouchlet of additional pellets. Finally is Aidan’s sword, and his primary weapon. It is a fine weapon with black and silver accents along the handle. The blade is long, and quite sharp. He stands an impressive 6’1’’ he’d probably be a good inch taller, if he did not slouch in his upper back more often than not.

Hopeful Celebrity: James Franco
Picture: Coming soon.
Effects:
Pistol with pouch filled with pellets (on his belt)
Sword with silver engravings on the handle (on his belt)
Basic dagger (kept in his boot)

.__Personality__.
Personality: Aidan is a very quiet individual. At first impression he comes off as standoff-ish and a bit stuck up, but the fact of reality is that he is simply shy. Usually the pirate allows his actions to speak rather than his words, due to the fact that it can sometimes be difficult for him to find the correct ones. It is not uncommon for people to assume that Aidan is a mute or mentally ill. The only time Aidan will be extremely social is after he has been drinking for a while. With booze life becomes lighthearted and free. Those unfamilar faces around him become old friends and all is good.

However once Aidan does warm up to people he is quite likeable. The pirate is an excellent keeper of friends, he can be a rather loyal and trustworthy friend. In the world of piracy trust is something that can be quite difficult to come by, but when it comes to one of his close comrads Aidan is golden. He is always there for those that he truly cares about. Although he is slightly nit picky about whom he chooses to call a friend. Aidan can definately be discribed as a charmer, especially when it comes to women. He has the ability to make someone feel like the only lady in the world, which can often times lead girls on. He's a clever young man, even if he is not much of a babbler. Aidan is quite the idealist, being able to work quite well under pressure and figuring out tough situations, which makes him very useful on voyages.

Overall Aidan isn't too loving and comassionate. He is a rugged Gent, who never allows emotions to play a strong role in his life. He usually keeps whatever difficulties he might have enternally to himself. It is a bit of a character flaw he has developed, which he fears might some day drive him to his brink. It does take a lot for Aidan to get mad, but once he does all hell breaks loose. Aidan will take everything on his mind out on whomever makes him enraged.

.__History__.
Personal History: Aidan was born into a world of poverty in the Caribbean, Tortuga to be exact. Being the son of a bar wench and a pirate certainly had a fair share of difficulties. His mum, Mary worked at a local bar called the Rusty Boot. While the job was not much, Mary was able to just get her family by and put food on the table. Her two sons Joe and Aidan would assist her whenever needed at the bar, usually cleaning mugs and assisting in anyway possible. Despite the wild atmosphere filled with rowdy pirates and low-lives the Christensen family was able to remain relatively safe in the pub. Mary was able to start a friendly relationship with most of the regulars, and gained a great deal of respect. With respect she also was able to get the company of various men, desperately seeking the pleasure of a lady. Aidan became slightly immune to seeing his mother kiss up on various men, even though she was married to his traveling father. “Your pa only brings this upon himself lads…” she would tell them time and time again. Mary had a poor relationship with her husband Alabaster.

Aidan’s father was constantly out to sea, the first mate of the infamous Van Ness Goose. Aidan only saw his father about four to five times a year, and things dramatically changed whenever he was around. Often times the pirate would only stay for several days before heading out again. He was a soul-less bastard, and it was for this reason that Mary hated him. Alabaster was like a thunderstorm, making everyone miserable within his family. The tiniest things would set him into a whirlwind of anger from their shack of a home to a wrong look from his sons. There were nights in which Aidan would fall asleep to the sound of his mother or Joe’s screams from being beaten. Aidan got a fair share of battering from his father as well.

One year passed, then two, and finally a third without Alabaster returning. By this time it was safe to assume that the terrible man had passed or simply started a life of his own. Unfortunately, during this time Mary had grown quite sick. At age 13 Aidan’s world was turned upside when his beloved mother passed due to a frail heart. Immediate he and Joe had to fill her shoes, they were able to work as bar tenders at the Rusty Boot. Mr. Edmund Crane had always been there for the boys and was a late lover of Mary’s. He had unofficially always been there as a surrogate farther of sorts, and he had always truly adored their mother, even though she was reluctant to start a true relationship with him.
When their father was not there, Edmund quickly filled the role. He would often times tell them stories of his days at sea being a pirate and teach them the basics of sword fighting. The boys grew quite proficient with a blade, with daily practicing before work.
Edmund was able to give the boys a full time job at the rusty boot. 17 year old Joe was a fast learner and soon got very caught up in the pub life. Aidan on the other hand remained a little fly on the wall, and was extremely shy amongst the rowdy groupings. After several months a new bar wench began working at the bar by the name of Sophie Costello. Aidan was a bit surprised how fast Edmund began falling for the Caribbean beauty. He was even more surprised when Joe asked Sophie to marry him. The young pair engaged in a small ceremony in early spring, with Aidan as the best man. After the marriage Sophie was able to get Joe a job as a merchant sailor. Both she and Aidan continued to work at the pub to bring in extra money. Joe would return to port about once every other month, which was always a pleasant happening.

While working at the tavern one night after closing, his god father confessed that he had been a pirate long ago. It soon became a nightly tradition that Edmund tell his stories at sea. The tales of treasure, sirens, and everything in between fascinated young Aidan. Up until that point he believed all pirates to be similar to his father. It was not until one rather rainy evening that Aidan found himself engaging in the biggest change of his life. After a full night of wild scaly wags and drinking an unfamiliar man entered the bar eager to meet with Edmund. Apparently the man was an old friend to Edmund, and brought news from the captain of a ship called the Scarlet Siren. Apparently the captain had been stabbed in battle, and had the last request of allowing his good companion Edmund Crane to take his place. Without any hesitation Edmund agreed, on the only term that Aidan go with him. At first Aidan was very reluctant, sure he enjoyed his ‘father’s’ stories, but he did not want to become a pirate. Still Edmund promised him a fuller life at sea, which coaxed him. The first couple of months left Aidan questioning his foolish decision; it was much different from what he had imagined. With due time though he adapted to life at sea under the knowledgeable wing of his father. As years passed, Aidan became a fully devoted pirate realizing just how fulfilling the choice truly was.

Family: Mary Reed (mother), Alabaster Christensen (Father), Joseph Christensen (older brother)
Love Interests on TTC: None at the moment.

.__Conclusion__.
Any extra information we need to know about? Nope

RP example: Glancing up at the sky for a quick second it was safe to say that rain would be near. The fluffy grey clouds covered the sky like a plague, casting the same similar shade on the water. Aidan absolutely detested the rain, sailing through it was one of his worst nightmares. The young pirate pulled his coat closer, to keep in warmth. They would probably be making port soon, hopefully before the drizzling begun. “Looks like rain eh?”
“Aye…” Aidan replied softly to the captain. Edmund Crane had served as his surrogate father from the time he was ten. The former pub owner was one of the few people whom had been there for him no matter what. He was a humbled pirate captain who was penny-less but Aidan would not have wanted anything more than the role he played. He gave a little half smirk in the direction of the good Captain, who gazed out to sea proudly.
“Been a while since we were last on land lad. How do you think it’s holdin’ up without old Eddy and Aidan?”
“Probably been dull days,” Aidan said with a little chuckle. There were two things on Aidan’s mind at that moment. The first being a fine bottle of rum or something stronger, and the second being a fine young lady to spend some time with. Life at sea for long periods of time was difficult without seeing a woman. Being around men all the time certainly was a drag. Occasionally the Scarlet Siren would unofficially recruit women whom have it engraved in their minds that they’d make excellent pirates. However after several weeks they all ended up jumping ship at the first site of land. Rather it was the harsh conditions or perhaps the scummy crew, Aidan was not entirely certain.
