.__Appearance__.
Overall Appearance: ( This must be descriptive, tasteful and at least three paragraphs. Include hair color, style, length, eye color, height, clothes, other wear, skin color, posture, etc.)

Ivory has a very elegant look about her. Her hair is dark and thick, and she tends to dress to impress when the situation allows. When she’s not working on something or out at sea (which is a rare occasion) she likes attracting attention with her outfits. Even when she’s dressed in boy’s clothes, she tries to make herself look somewhat glamorous. She realizes that this is a very hard thing to do, considering the dirt that is associated with pirates. Speaking of dirt, it doesn’t particularly bother her. As long

Being a fifteen-year-old girl, Ivy is starting to grow into a womanlier figure. She doesn’t have the stunning curves or the large cup size though. There’s still a little-girlish look about her, and the fact that she’s not very tall adds to the look. In fact, she’s rather short, five feet tall to be specific. She’s jealous of the long-legged and glorious female pirates that seem to get all the attention.

Her heart-shaped baby face also adds to the childish look she has. She has round, rosy cheeks. Her full lips are about the only thing that distinguishes her from being a child. Also, she has brown eyes that are wide with curiosity. Her nose is wide and matches her lips very nicely.

Twin daggers, and occasionally a pistol.

.__Personality__.
Personality: (must be descriptive, tasteful and at least three paragraphs)

Ivory likes attention first and foremost. Her actions always link back to her need to be in the spotlight. She’s an overachiever and a perfectionist. Also, she’s very proud of her accomplishments and boasts about them all the time. Even little things like stealing a shoe is something that she likes to share with everyone but the shoemaker.

Ivy moves very fast. Not just in the sense of movement, but in her head too. Things come together in her head very easily, which helps when she’s improvising. She’s also very smart and can retain information easily. When she’s too pressed for time and ideas, she’ll recycle something that she’d thought of before. She thinks a mile a minute and talks about as fast as she thinks when she gets excited, which has a tendencey to happen quite a bit.

Ivory is a bit of a whiny brat when she wants to be. This mostly happens when she's in a bad mood and doesn't want to be bothered by anyone, but it also happens when she's looking for amusement in the form of pissing people off. In other scenarios, such as when she doesn't get her way, she throws a hissy fit and then develops a plan to get what she wants. This usually ends up with her doing something aweful and bratty that wouldn't be expected from a girl with a baby face. If you've scorned her, by not giving her what she wants, she has no problem with bringing you down to an all time low.

If Ivory cares for a person, she’s very protective of them. Losing her parents led to some sort of complex. She thinks that everyone that gets close to her is going to leave her. This makes Ivy a very hard person to get really close to. She doesn’t let many people in that weren’t already in before her parent’s death. Speaking of death, it’s not a prospect that Ivy very much likes. One of the reasons she likes to go so fast is because she wants to fit in everything before she dies.

Throughout her life, Ivory has always exhibited the ability to solve puzzles. Her love for solving these puzzles led her to the mindset that everything she’s associated with needs fixing, when most of the time there isn’t. Sometimes, this leads to problems, but people who know Ivory should be able to spot her mind working overtime before it becomes a real problem.

.__History__.
Personal History: (must be descriptive, tasteful and at least four paragraphs)

At one point in his life, Thomas Jacobson had been a pirate. A pirate that was extremely good at weaponry. He sailed for most of his teen years but when he was nearing his 20th birthday, he had almost died at sea. This brought him out of his boyish dreams and he came to land and got married to a woman named Maria. Maria was a completely different form the man that she had married. She had never left the island that she was born on and rarely traveled.

Ivory was born in the early morning on a misty day in October to a pair of very proud parents. Just as Ivory would have liked it, her birth was first. In 7 minutes, her brother was born. Being first became what she had to do ever since she figured out what first was.

The family that she had was a pleasant one. They were not extremely rich, but they weren’t dirty poor either. They lived in the small coastal town of Statia. Her father was a cobbler and her mother was a seamstress. Together, they ran a clothing shop and they easily fed the mouths of the two children they’d had.

Her father taught Ivy how to use daggers because frankly, it was the only thing that she could learn. She didn’t like using swords hat her father had because of how much strength they required and often got fed up with having to lift them for long periods of time. The distance between the fighters made her nervous too. She liked to be up close to her opponent where she could get a good look at everything about them. That way, she could assess the problem (that would be her opponent) and put the pieces together easier.

Ivy also inherited her father’s love for the sea. She loved the way it smelled and how pretty it looked. Ever since she was a tiny girl she loved it.

Ivory’s pleasant family only lasted until her tenth birthday, sadly. One day when her and her brother were off playing, the store that her parents owned burnt down with their parents inside. Ivory was upset, but didn’t want to show it. She didn’t want to live with a constant reminder of her parent’s death, and she immediately made up her mind that she never wanted to see the island again.

So, she convinced her brother to follow in their father’s footsteps and engage in a life of piracy. Once on a ship, she discovered her talent with putting things together and creating. Her brother and her sailed on various pirate ships until they had an unpleasant experience at sea. Ivory suggested that they spend sometime on land, and they did in Tortuga.

Ivory looked down at what she had at her disposal. It wasn’t much, but she regarded it with a smile spread across her features. This was what she wanted. A relatively difficult problem with very few things to do it with. There was a tingling in her tummy of excitement. It was what always happened when she was putting something together. Even when she was in the direst of situations, the thought of putting something together and solving a puzzle put her in a bubbly mood.

It had been so long since the last time she’d actually sat down with the intent to solve something. The last time that she could remember was at sea, and that was a very long time ago. The sea. She sighed happily at the memory. Her heart longed to be out on the open ocean, but she and her brother were a better pair on land. Ivory shrugged. At least she was staying in Tortuga, which was her favorite place to be when she wasn’t sailing.

Ivy shook her head of her daydreams. She needed to fall into the task she had assigned herself so she could get that feeling of victory that she wanted. Her task, specifically, was getting the robins eggs out of the tree without breaking them or pissing off the mother bird. She looked down at the tools that she had gathered beforehand. She ran her fingers over the canvas, rope, and the hollowed out melon that she’d had for breakfast.

Movement above her head caught her focus. The mother bird had left the nest. Now was her chance to move. She hoped to her feet, picking up the rope and looping it around a sapling that was starting to grow by the other tree. She came out with two pieces of rope, more or less. Then she tied the ends to separate corners of the square piece of canvas. Grabbing the other two ends she positioned the tarp so that it was underneath the nest.

The lightweight melon shell in her hand, she attempted surveying the angle and tossed it so that it just nicked the bottom of the nest. The eggs fell into the canvas. She smiled, and hummed a word under her breath. “Perfect.”

But it wasn’t perfect. She picked up the eggs and was met with an unfamiliar feeling. That was oddly unsatisfying. Ivory thought with a frown, looking at the nest in her hand. There was no feeling of victory when she had the eggs in her hand, like she had been expecting. She shrugged a little. Maybe she’d feel better once she’d had the eggs she was planning on eating.
