These threads (on characters, places and the like) will be updated as the script progresses. Not all places and characters will be revealed, of course, as that would ruin the surprise!

The Places

The Morchanin Settlement - Orn Aneth Morchanas
An array of wooden structures almost as old as the Ilsamir city of Darineth, the Morchanin Settlement was constructed after the Ilsamiri first encountered and dealt with the vestiges of the Morchanin people who had fled into the Forest of Dry Trees.

The settlement is centred on the Council Chambers, which is the oldest and grandest structure. From this building runs a broad avenue down to the jetties which is flanked on either side by market stalls.

To the north of the Council is the barracks where the Morchanin train their elite Scouts and also maintain a small standing force for the defence of their settlement.

The Shield Forest - Or Thenor Pradh
In the uttermost north of the Ilsamir lands lies the Shield Forest, a gradually dwindling wood which takes its name from the Mountains beneath which it grows. It is a favoured training place for Morchanin and is rich with game. In the winter-time it is usually terribly cold, but in summer the weather can be pleasant.

It is composed mainly of pines, which can sustain the cold mountain air, and has a difficult, always exciting terrain - being scarred by numerous valleys and crossed by mountain streams.

The City of Darineth, The Fallen City - Orn Aneth Darinethas, Orn Aneth Darise
The most ancient, grand and well defended city of the Ilsamir lands. Darineth is surrounded on all sides by a great, high wall and divided into six districts:

- the Temple,
- the Port,
- the Palace,
- the Military District,
- the Haven and
- the Haven Port.

The City is built both on the main-land and on a small island very close to the coast, the Haven (or Prethan).

The City has undergone many changes in its long history, which spans some 1,100 years. Its construction was begun in the year 12 AF (After the Fall) by the Final Cloud King (Or Heiru Ilu Curas) - also known as the First Sphere King (Or Heiru Olin Arina) - Ilserir, who also offered the Morchanin the territory on which they constructed their settlement (in 37).

The greatest architectural features of Darineth are the Four Towers (Orn Eteri Raludwe) which are: the Palace Tower (orn Ete Elayir) to the East, the Tower of the Temple (orn Ete Leriyas) to the North, the Tower of the Dividing Sea (orn Ete Eris Laudhas) in the South and the Tower of the Haven (orn ete Prethanas) in the East.
