Dodgeball's Ultimate Champion Posts: 21,899 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: December 24, 2005 Favourite Team Chelsea (Celtic, St Etienne and Stuttgart)	OK so we've come to the end of the triples tournament and there are still things we have to address. On MSN earlier some of us came up with some points that we should discuss before the next tournament. It's best we have a seperate thread too so this doesn't get lost anywhere. Here's the list: 1 - Nuno being the simulator - running this on his phone is a major disadvantage it seems. Don't bake us, Nuno, we're just discussing it as some people seem unhappy. 2 - Fixtures and tournament details such as whether we'll be having a final or not should be mentioned before hand 3 - All rules should be posted in one thread 4 - The rules thread: make it more simpler and organised 5 - Double attack rule needs to be reviewed again 6 - Times for each match should be discussed beforehand Anything else we should change? Do you disagree with the list we made up?

And let's get one thing straight: the teammate cannot stop both attacks, that's not happening eh unless he's an idiot sacrificing himself for his mate - leading to an automatic out. The teammate's involvement should only be stopping one of those two attacks (within a certain amount of time after the attack has taken place).

No. We've been over this in the past, I'm not going to repeat myself All I'm saying is, what the hell is the point of a double attack if it isn't going to be effective most of the time? We minus well get rid of it if that's the case.

The threads might not be updated but unfortunately Im MOBILE bound. So thats not easy for me to do at all. Second, Ligue the double attack needs a review but the way its set up is absolutely fine, and shall remain as is. Third, your idea will be taken into consideration Lee

Another suggestion could be to create the match thread on beforehand and then when the match time comes everyone can start playing. So basically if you start before the time, your move wont count. Might be a little confusion about the different timezones though, but that shouldn't be a problem.

All the threads can be created by the moderators at once, and locked. The mods are supposed to open them and stick them a few hours before the game. With this solution, both teams have the chance to be here at once and start playing imidiately. As it works now, we will have to go in and check every hour for example and then we might fall behind on possesion of ball. Not that it is a very big deal, but it's more fair this way.
