Vancouver Canucks 0 - Anaheim Ducks 1

The Anaheim Ducks beat the Vancouver Canucks by the final score of 1 to 0. In the opening period Anaheim's Teemu Selanne score a goal. Vancouver got close on many occaisons, aswell as Aneheim who shot many times but Robert Luongo came to the save. The second period was shot after shot after shot, and unbelieveably, only 1 goal was actually made. The third period was in favor of the Vancouver Canucks, who failed to score. The final quarter, the Ducks hung on to keep the score 1 - 0.

3 stars of the game were

New York Rangers 2 - Calgary Flames 1

The Game ended in a 2 - 1 victory for Rangers. First quarter a solid quarter, but there was no scoring involved, but like I said, a pretty nice quarter with alot of close calls and agression. In the second half, Ranger's LW Naslund broke out and scored, making it 1 - 0, leaving Calgary in the dust. The third quarter, Flames' Jarome Iginla got around and scored, no assistance added. This making is 1 - 1. The last quarter was a solid quick quarter with no scores made, going into overtime. In overtime, Ranger's Naslund scored again, giving Ranger's the 2-1 win. An all around excellent game.

3 stars of the game were
1. Ranger's Naslund
2. Flames Jerome Ignila

Pittsburgh Penguins 2 - New Jersey Devils 4

The Match Ended in favor of the New Jersey Devils, who did their absolute best this game. The match ended 4 -2. The first quarter was an edge for both teams. Both teams each made one goal. Second Quarter, Penguins scored a goal, as Devils scored two. Third Quarter, no scores were made, although, it was an enjoyable Quarter. Last quarter, Devil's most least expected player-- Sacha Treille, scored a great goal, infact the distance was so far, it's earned him the man of the match slot.

3 stars of the game were

Chicago Blackhawks 1 - San Jose Sharks 2

This was probably my favorite game to watch. A very close one! The game ended 2-1 in the favor of San Jose Sharks. First quarter San Jose Sharks made two goals/shots, almost getting too confident, as Chicago made none. Second quarter, Chicago Blackhawks broke out, and made a really, really fast goal. I was really impressed by the motivation of the Blackhawks on this quarter. Third Quarter, no scoring, aswell as the last quarter, no scoring. Sharks' goalie did an excellent job aswell. A great game, nonetheless.

3 stars of the game were

What a way to start the season AND Treille scored! :eek2:  :point:

So, he'll be getting 5 points added on to his attributes correct? Since he scored and got first star  (from the create a player thread):

1st star of a game is worth 3 points
Every goal he scores is worth 2 points

I'll update the attributes in my thread B)

2-1, take that Dyer :point: Great to win my opening match. I'm just concerned that it had to be replayed because the previous match didn't go to overtime automatically :|
