Closing Ceremony![]() The first ever Complex Olympic Games have now finished! Congratulations to all who participated and won medals. It's been a great tournament with lots of dedication - dodgeball instantly springs to mind. This has been the biggest ever tournament we've ever hosted at The Complex II and I think it's been the best ever. Thank you. ![]() Noob (Greece) eventually came top of the Medals Table with 4 golds. Second place in the table went to TC Admin (England), who won 3 golds and 3 silvers and 1 bronze while 3rd place went to Lee Vilenski (Northern Ireland) who won 2 golds and 3 silvers. Well done to everyone who won medals. The Final Medals Table can be seen here. The Story of our Olympic Games can be seen here. Who do you think put in the most work and dedication? Who deserves the Olympian of the Year Award? Please vote here. If we ever have another Olympic Games, what would you like to see in it, and how can it be improved? Voice your opinions here. ![]() I'll leave this thread open for some final comments from you guys. Thanks for participating and enjoy the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games!

As if to cement my place as eternal bridesmaid of Fantasy Sports, Australia walks through the Closing Ceremony with no gold medals. <_< And BTW, you have done the medal table wrong. The position doesn't go according to how many medals have been won, but according to the amount of Gold (takes precedence over all), then Silver, then Bronze. So in actual fact, Greece should top the medal tally. |

I think the person with the least medals should have topped the leaderboard.
Having said that, the leaderboard of medals doesn't tell the full story. We finished 4th in the handball despite being no-hopers before the tournament, reached the quarter finals of the football through a potentially difficult group and we only just lost in the cricket to Australia. Plenty of positives but only 1 bronze medal from the wrestling. A shame.

It was awesome, probably the most highly anticipated and well-ran Fantasy Game in TC2. Congratulations to TC Admin and everyone else who mades this true. I hope by the time we redo the olympics more sports will be introduced.
