The Complex Super League Season 6 onwards After three seasons based on FIFA06 (Seasons 3, 4 and 5), the Super League thread moves here for a fresh new start with FIFA07 simulation. (The other thread was getting long anyway!) For Season 6, the 3 star teams have changed, so here is a new list to choose from: Teams to choose from... Woo first post in the new thread! I'm not 100% sure on a team and it's very difficult to choose since I don't have Fifa07, but for now I'll take Flamengo. I did ok before branching out into the exotic Americas, and I'll do the same for this season. They certainly seem to have some bright young Brazilians. Robinson for player of the season! 12 clean sheets from 15 games (i think) is amazing! P.S. Robinson for Season XI Captain too  .

SOUR TONE AT ALAVES' NIGHT OF NIGHTS Despite finishing Second in the Super League, Alaves' annual awards night was always going to be bittersweet Laughs and drinks were shared all round, but Deportivo Alaves' awards dinner was hinted with remorse and sadness at their failure to take the Complex Super League title that so many thought they had deserved. Manager hughgeta delivered a rousing speech, on the same day that his deal with Getafe was all but signed. Sources close to the coach have hinted that the only thing stopping the Manager signing with the new club was a minor hiccup in Getafe's bid which could potentially deem them unqualified to compete in the Super League. Neither this or the still-empty trophy cabinet was openely discussed at the gala event, yet there is undeniable feeling of sorrow haninging over the club's head. President Dmitry Pietrman was overheard to say: "It is unlikely that the club can ever recover from this loss." Depressingly, no teams immediately stand out to me as a team I've got some sort of interest in, like the Revs did in the old league. After some deliberation, I would like to be Crystal Palace. |
