1) IF YOU DO NO USE COMMON SENSE AND JUDGMENT, I WILL USE IT FOR YOU.
2) Do NOT post material that is sexually explicit in any way. Do NOT make sexually explicit or sexually derogatory jokes or comments. Do NOT ask unwanted sexual or sexually derogatory questions of any member or try to elicit such information about them from anyone else. Sexual harassment of any sort will not be tolerated.
3) Just as you are not allowed to be overly sexual if you are straight, you are not allowed to be so if you are homosexual. Regardless of your orientation, do not be obnoxious about it and do NOT make derogatory or hurtful comments about another orientation. While discussions have their place, they WILL stay civilized, intellectual, and respectful.
4) There will most likely always be children 13 and under on this board. That means any posted material not under PG-13 is unwelcome.
5) If you are under 13, you may NOT post any personal information such as e-mail address, address, phone number, or full name.
6) Unless a word filter has misunderstood your context, do not try and get around it. And if there is a word that is not filtered that is not PG-13 appropriate, do not post it. Find a better word to use.
7) Treat the Asylum's authorities with respect at all times. If you should have a dispute with one, bring it to the owner of the Asylum (Udon-twan).
8) Similarly, treat the other members of the asylum with respect at all times. You are not simply dealing with a computer. There are other human beings at the other side of the connection. While you by no means have to agree with what another person says, you may NOT bash them or be sarcastic or degrading. You may tactfully and respectfully display your case in a way that allows for intelligent discussion.
9) If anybody contacts you via Private Message with any offending material, do not hesitate to report it to a mod or admin and DO NOT DELETE THE PRIVATE MESSAGES.
10) Try to keep the board free of clutter. This means if there is already a thread relating to a topic, post in it rather than making a new one, and too much thread-hijacking will result in the thread being closed. |
