Nod new power building, it is a sneaking weakness to you, cause you tend to build it and "lean" on it as a cruch for power for your base, dont do this. Build all the regular power you normally would to keep a good complete and full base going even if you lost 2 power buildings. Strictly use the new power building for when you are going to cloak your base. After you have new power building made, dont forget to build extra power with ever other redundant building or defense. Also keep your New power building isolate away from other power sources so not to take multiple power failures. This works to your benefit if you do it right. If your New power building goes down, then you can simply disable your cloak spikes as needed to return power back to your base, but if your whole base leans on that power building as its source, your in a world of shit when/if that New power building goes down. So just remember to keep up on your standard power.

This is a new one because we only just moved the decoy ability over to the Scrin, and not only that we boosted it so that the decoys don;t pop like balloons. Basically if you get attacked by an ion storm and you have vehicles, use the decoy power on them and then move your real units out of the way of the storm. The decoys are invulnerable so they will soak up lots of the storm damage.

EMP or Shockwave Arty a Scrin droneship before attacking it. This will shutdown it's ion storm while you attack as well as stop the ion storm from hanging around after the drone ship is destroyed.

I did this last night, and it isn't necessarily limited to the mod. But putting a captured Tripod in the middle of a Tiberium field on the map Alamo really works to keep the enemy harvesters knocked back.
