I'll edit this as I test the beta 1.3 version more;

Noticed that beam cannons don't attack properly. You tell them to attack a building a good distance away and they will move towards it but then not attack. It's as if their out of range and don't know they need to move forwards more. I think this isn't a problem with the mod, but maybe increasing firing range may help? The cloaking does seem to work well and be a good fit for the unit.

If we have to remove tier 3 weapons from the crane, can we add the explorer and superweapon so that the 2nd build queue can do something apart from basic defenses?

The wall seems to work well, I went a bit nuts with it at first and realised you have to be careful otherwise you just make a big mess of an obstruction lol! No AA defenses with wall?

The Orcas still seem very weak. Chain guns didn't do much damage, and I wasn't sure if they still were worth making along with Firehawks. Better chainguns and an EMP!!! ;) If you're worried about venoms being overpowered remember that they have the laser upgrqade and why not give them a temporary cloak ability (lasts 30 seconds). Orcas can't engage air vehicles either (unless you give them an EMP) so they are a limited unit.

GDI hovercrafts were cool and made up for losing the second seat in APC's.

The snipers seemed to work better with the juggernaut bombardment - not getting magically spotted anymore with no stealth detection unit around.

Overall GDI are becoming more enjoyable to play. They are still kind of slow to get going and are the weakest of the 3 sides in the air. I played with Mini Tach who was Scrin and he was bulldozing the rest of the AI with devastators and PAC's well ahead of when I was ready to commit an army to attack. Whether that means GDI need an economy boost somehow (speed of harvesting?) I don't know.

Scrin have more garrisoning abilities to match the other factions, however all you can garrison is buzzers. Would be nice is disintegrators could garrison.

I have a whole new list of suggestions but don't want to confuse things with 1.3 about to come out. Unless you want more ideas now and a recap of other ones let me know, otherwise I'll wait and post it as a list fro 1.4.

I noticed you moved the nuke over to the crane build queue and I think that works nicely.

I got your PM Desecrator saying that you were hoping to release the mod by this Friday. Any new items in the mod that you hope to have included that haven't been in the beta versions?

The Orca EMP burst is a maybe I see and wall hub repair drones are also being worked on, but how about Mammoth repair drones, Orca chain guns tweaked, upgradeable barracks and factories? Any of those in or anything else in?

Hi,

I have got somebody helping with the Orca EMP, I should be getting an answer today.

If Mammoths have a repair drone shouldn't Avatars and Tripods have one too?
Also if those units have repair drone should the ones that have already be removed?
Just thinking that we can't have too many unit repairing each other.

I will make the Orca chain gun the same as the Venom chain gun.

Upgradeable barracks and factories - Still looking into it but maybe.

Well mammoths are slow as hell and can't get back to bases to repair very easily. Tripods are fast and have shields. Avatars are upgradeable to and can even cloak. So the GDI who should be a strongest when it comes to tank forces, seem to be the weakest.

What other units have drones right now besides outposts / explorers?

The Rig, Flame Tank, Corrupter.

The Rig has one when packed and two when unpacked.

Yeah I think that mammoths should still have repair drones, the scrin have special drones they can drop anywhere on the map as well to repair tripods. The rig can repair any other unit in the GDI army but Mammoths with their slow as molasses speed I think should have something special.

Why do Flame tanks have repair drones? I don't think Nod should get repair units because they use stealth as a main tactic. GDI will repair because it's more in there nature to take care of their own, and Scrin would repair using tiberium. But Nod have that big stealth advantage, plus tyhey are more about dying for the cause, so I don't think they should be able to repair as easily as the other factions.

With limited units on the field and it being easy to loose all you unit at once.
Also you can only build 4 or 8 repair units.
If a unit is being attacked the repairing will not keep it alive for long.

Mammoth - Would you like to have the decal? The repair radius that appears on the ground like the Rig.
Should the repair radius be the same as the Rig or half?
Upgraded Barracks & War Factory – Sorry not working yet, still need to figure out upgrades

I don't think there should be a decal and the radius should be half. It's more about repairing the mammoth than other units in this situation. Make sense?
