400 Posts + Posts: 456 Group: Clan Founder (Retired Officer) Member #4 Joined: November 11, 2005	I have tried several times unsuccesfully to complete this one. It's kicking my ass every time. I think the only way to succeed is to push out to the NW or SE and take out the enemy remote bases first. It's just that I have so little time to get a decent force together to take out either one and still have enough defenses on my main base.

The way I had success was to build 3 War Factories and keep a ring of MammothTanks around them. I didn't even bother to build a barracks until about 20 minutes into the game. Then once I had healing support force surrounding my main base assets, I created an airfield to help keep off the Scrin airships that try to pick you off from long range. Then I just made even more MammothTanks and took out the base in the southeast, and then the base in the northwest. I put more Tiberium refineries down in those areas, captured the 2 Tiberium Silos at the far north and far east, and then created another small army of MammothTanks. By this point I had a good 30 or so of them and I just bulldozed to the main base and took it out. Hooray!

I can't even remember much about the Berne level now for some reason. I think I got lucky and beat it first time. Rome is killing me though!
