The only thing I would change on that pc is the CPU, I will change it to the FX57, and I would change the 7800GTX cards to 512mb versions |

Yup....the FX57 would be okay, but if that's the FX55 San Diego core...well then all's well. As for the 7800GTX 512's.....hell I don't even want to see those benchies......shame. And I reckon the FX57 might not even be enough at stock to take one, much less two 7800GTX 512's to it's limit..... All and all, a really nice PC.....would not mind one myself. To be honest, I would wait and get the Yonah (Newer Dothan)...I mean clock for clock the Dothan is faster than the FX57......probly the only CPU Intel made using their head for a change. |

Yup.....if you clock for clock..... The Dothan, and more so the Yonah comming soon is one hell of a CPU, that drains much less power, and thus runs a hell of a lot cooler. Yup the FX 57 can be clocked very high, which would give the FX57 the edge...but if you get a Pentium M Dothan up to 3Ghz....there's not many CPU's that would beat that Dothan at those speeds... |
