i dunno dude, im not happy with my performance yet!

but my new mobo is in da post so will check it out when i get that DFI Lanparty UT board!

Dude - intel is great for multitasking applications etc but the AMD3000+ will whoop a pentium 3.0 ghz any day in gaming (or single task operations)

OK so I do alot of Musix editing and mixing.. is that classed as multi or single tasking?

Answer fools! :P

Do you have lots of programs open at once? That's multitasking.

But anyways - music mixing programs wont take a lot of processing power anyways, so either AMD or Intel would work for you.

You should decide what else you'll use the PC for

Not that much dude! It's RAM that cubase chows more than anything.

I don't know dude - I'm biased towards AMD so it'll be unfair for me to say which one would work better for you.

I love my AMD

Dude - if you are going to go AMD then try and get a nForce4 mobo that supports socket 939 cpu's.

I have a AMD64 bit 3200+ cpu

All 3 are excellent motherboards.

If you are on a budget - the first ASUS board is the best choice.

If you have lots of cash - the last link is best

The last link is the only one that supports SLI (ability to put 2x PCI-e graphics card in one PC).

My dad has the last mobo and it's an excellent board.

If you want to use SLI - get the last board. If not, get the first one.
