This forum was made for the people who are visiting my site. There are a few rules that I would have to enforce, either because I don't want certain things happening, or because the forum would be shut down. This site is PG-13, unless otherwise noted in the topic title.

1) SWEARING: I did not put up a word filter, and I hope that it doesn't come to that point. Try to refrain from swearing needlessly, and above all, repetitively. I understand that swear words can help get a point across, or show a certain emotion, but there is a limit.

2) SMILIES: I know everyone loves these little faces which so nicely show our emotions. The people of the forum do not need to see more than one of an emoticon for your emotion to be shown. You can use a few per post, but no more than five, and only one per sentence.

3) AGRESSION: We all know that everyone has good days and bad days. We at the forum do not need to feel it. It's okay to post a topic in The Tavern expressing your anger, but it does not need to be reflected in the other posts around the forum.

4) DEGRADING MEMBERS: This is above all one of the most important rules to follow. It will not be tolerated if you degrade a fellow members post, idea, or character. The moderators are the ones to judge if a member is actign accordingly. If you feel there is a problem, message member 'Savarast' about it. You are encouraged to comment on posts and give suggestions, but you are not to be foul in your post.

5) POST LENGTH: It is commonly seen that members on forums frequently post one-line responses. This will not be tolerated. If you have something to say, and it does nto surpass one proper sentence, you should review if what you are plannign to say is needed or worth while.

6) POST STYLE: The style of certain posts are to be followed. If you do not know how to post a decent topic in one of the forums, there are outlines pinned at the top of each forum. Please follow these guidelines to avoid conflicts.

7) SPAMMING: "Spam" is icky, and its creators are treated like lepers - Spam is one or more messages posted by the same person within a small time frame that all have substantially identical content. Double-posting, asking the same question in several places, and similar actions makes a "Spammer." Spam also includes senseless "bumping" (posting solely to push the thread to the top of the forum again), particularly when a question is being asked. A forum is not the best place to get immediate responses. A good response time is usually about 30 minutes.

8) FLAMING: "Flaming" is not tolerated - A flame is a deliberate personal attack (including insults and threats) directed at a site guest, member, or group of members. Having a civilized discussion without arguing, or having different opinions is perfectly fine. If it turns into a verbal fight, it will be stopped, with possible banning.

9) POSTING TO THE RIGHT PLACE: Every post has a proper place on this forum. Please put an effort into placing your posts into the correct forums. Each forum has a small amount of description that should help you place your posts correctly. If you still has an issue, all posts are welcome in "The Tavern" or you are welcome to ask a question by PMing (Personal Messaging) Member "Savarast".

10)TROLLS:A troll is a person who will post messages (public or private) or threads to bait people to answer, or will post messages with the intent of creating arguments. A troll will often use "Flaming" as described above, and will sometimes act as though he is never wrong, and may even consistently twist another's words. In playing Dungeons & Dragons, we kill trolls. We like doing it. Don't be a troll.

11)LINKS: Ensure that the links are safe for any member to go to and that they are not direct downloads. Give an explanation of the link before the link so that members know what they are being led to.

12)LEGAL ISSUES: You may not link nor lead any members to anything that can be questioned by law. This includes, but is not limited to; illegal software, copied book fragments, pirated material, images that must be purchased, Mal-ware, Spy-ware, anything deemable PG-18, ect.
