------------------------------------------------The Faceless-------------------------------------------------------------

The Faceless are a group of individuals who work in secrecy, unknown to most people. They are masters of hiding who they are and what purposes they serve, and even knowing that someone is a Faceless reveals nothing. This is because the Faceless is a loosely knit Guild who specialize in espionage, assassinations, theft, and ultimately working outside the laws and order of most civilized groups. Any guild house to the Faceless is extremely hard to get to, even impossible to non-members to reach. It is often riddled with traps that are set to attack any person who lacks the proper insignia. From this guild house all missions and activities commence, including initiation. Someone who wishes to join must first learn of the guild (DC 30 Gather Information), pass the traps the lead to the guild house, and then complete numerous tasks for the Faceless. Should they be in favor, a character may be given the secrets of The Faceless, allowing advancement in this class. Once a character reaches maximum level in The Faceless, they can ask for permission to open a guild house of their own. Each guild house might have other specific needs or prerequisites, such as a guild house of The Faceless who only deal in assassination might demand a character to assassinate a target successfully. All alignments are welcome except Lawful, as well as all classes, though bards and rogues gain the most from this class.

Requirements: Bluff 4 ranks, Diplomacy 4 ranks, Intimidate 4 ranks, Disguise 8 ranks

*A Faceless can gain bonus spells with a high Int or Cha, whichever is higher

Spell List:
1st level: Cause Fear, Disguise Self, Hypnotism, Lesser Confusion, Sleep, Comprehend Language.

2nd level: Calm Emotions, Daze Monster, Detect Thoughts, Enthrall, Hold Person, Hypnotic Pattern, Locate Object, Scare, Suggestion, Tongues.

3rd level: Charm Monster, Clairaudience/Clairvoyance, Confusion, Deep Slumber, Fear, Geas Lesser, Glibness, Scrying,

Alternate Entity: A Faceless can physically change their bodies into a creature of the same size as they are. to absorb an entity into their mind it takes 10 rounds of uninterrupted study of the target, after which the voice, look, actions, and even smell of that target can be mimicked by the Faceless. A Faceless must hear the target to copy its voice, and must be able to see the targets face to copy it. A Faceless can remember more identities later in level, 2 at level 3, and 3 at level 5. Each level in The Faceless reduces the absorption time by 1 round, to a minimum of 5 rounds at level 5. Alternately, a Faceless can create their own image, taking the same amount of rounds as to absorb to properly create a new image. Refer to the Alter Self spell for what is gained or lost in the transformation.

Oath Bound: A Faceless can never reveal his identity or his guild. Doing so without rectifying the error will cause the Faceless to be target to many assassination attempts as well as denying advancement in The Faceless class. At level 5 Remove from Memory helps with this a lot.

Persuasive: A Faceless gains a a bonus to his Bluff, Intimidate, and Diplomacy skills at each level he gains an Alternate Entity. That is, +1 at first level, +2 at thrid level, and +3 at fifth level.

Featureless: A Faceless can remove certain elements from his visage, granting him different immunities. He can remove his ears, eyes, mouth, or nose. This takes a standard action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity.Without eyes a Faceless is immune to gaze attacks, without ears he is immune to any sonic damage and deafening effects, without a nose he is immune to most nausea (caused from smelling), and without a mouth he is immune to inhaled poisons.Adversely without eyes a Faceless is treated as blind, without ears he is deafened, without a mouth he is silenced, and without both a nose and a mouth he can only survive as long as he can hold your breath. You can remove as many features as you like, gaining the penalties associated.

Undetectable: Any attempt to locate a Faceless or anything in his possession by means of magic automatically fail.

Without a Trace: A Faceless leaves no followable path, nor does he leave behind a traceable smell. This functions as Pass without a Trace.

Remove from Memory: Once per day, a Faceless who has an opponent (or a number at the same time) under the effects of a mind controlling spell can remove any memory of their meeting. the targe then falls into a coma for 5 rounds, after which he wakes up unable to recall anything about the Faceless.

pretty cooool, but can he only have ONE alternate identity at level one, or can he change it?

they should gain death attack, in case they get figured out.

If they want death attack, take levels in Assassin. The point of this class is not to be an assassin, but to be nearly impossible to detect.

At level one, in addition to their normal Identity, they gain a single other. That one is copied in 10 rounds, after which a Faceless can change from his normal identity to this secondary one. If he wants to gain a new Identity, all he has to do is observe a target for 10 more rounds, losing the old memorized Identity and gaining a new one.

Bob the Faceless can have one Alternate Entity. He chooses to absorb billy's Identity. If later he wants to absorb max's Identity, he would have to forget billy's in exchange for Max's. If he can have three alternate Entities, he can have Billy's, Max's, and Philip's Identities. However if he would like George's, he must first choose to forget one other Identity.
