It's leaves are an emerald green and even the stock has a glimmering surface. Somewhere near to the mass of vines you see a small gem clentched in a small vine. Bending over to pick it up, you hear the sound of the trees rustling in the wind. later on the trail, you notice that your gold ppouch is missing. The theif vine is a plant with limited sentinent which leads it to be attracted to things that are small and shiny. When it sucessfully steals a small shiny item with it's vines, it brings it to it's main pile which is mostly covered by it's viney mass. Though it cannot see, it can sense the reflections of light from the shiny objects, so it is able to know to shake out pouch contents. It usually expells these pouches, but occasinally you can find one in it's mass (sometimes even magical ones). It attracts new targets by leaving a single shiny object noticeable by passerbys. It will allow this item to be taken for it hopes to gain more from it's pillage. If, by anychance a passerby finds the horde, the theif vine will protect it and reveal it's nature. |

Yes, you could have have a small version of it but a plant like this seems to me to be large. Any person could keep one as a pet, but you tell me how to get it to the door and to keep it there? Also, that wouldn't be good for business. |

Like any other plant man, by seeds and pollen. Also, if you were to go to a place known for the chance of lossing your pouches. |

The smaller ones would be almost useless because they would not have a place to hide these items. It would be foolish to keep one of these in a city anyways, because they would steal from everyone and cause havoc. |

dude but if they been planted in a pot the bottom could be cut off for the items to drop into a box when it's on a counter in an inn and the havoc thing is iff the people go up to it to see the item in its clutches |

ITS FINE AS IT IS. i dont like the idea much of the store person thing...because if money keeps dissapearing ironically at that same shop...then the shop keeper will be arrested (not the plant) and he can be run out of business....and the plant would steal from him too...and if the shop keeper tried to grab some of the gold that the plant put then the plant would attack him! |
