-----------------------------------Soul Spinner---------------------------------------------- As I watched in horror the black bolt of negative energy struck my ally, jumping all over his body destroying the good and life inside him. The glimmer of life left his eyes, his face a portrait of the pain his body just experienced. The black robe figure laughed out loud, and floated down to his lifeless corpse then spoke a word of magic. The spirt of my friend, was being lifted from his body, and it began to spin around the robed mage. "Well, he will make a nice addition to my collection" the mage said, laughing his evil laugh "so will you soon enough, and then, you get to repay me for the damage you have done my household!" A soul spinner is able to steal the souls of enemies and then use them to his advantage. HD:4 Requirements: Able to cast 3rd level arcane spells, Specialist in necromantic spells. Alignment: any evil Special: -- Skills: as wizard Skills per level: 2+intelligence modifier
Soul Rend: This allows the Soul Spinner to take the soul of a recently deceased being. The soul must roll a Will save to try to beat the soul spinners opposed roll 1d20+soul spinner level or have his soul stolen. When a soul is stolen, it cannot be contacted by any spell, nor can the body be ressurected without an opposed roll. Both the soul spinner and the caster or the opposed spell roll a check of 1d20+caster level+relevant ability modifier. If the soul spinner suceeds, he protects his soul and gains a glimpse of the opposed caster. IF the opposed wins, he is able to gain acess to the soul in question. A soul spinner can only have an equal amount of souls to his soul spinner level. Souls already expended for the day do not count against this amount. Aura: A soul spinner gains an aura of evil equal in intensity to his soul spinner level. This aura causes animals to be unfriendly or run away, and causes small plants to wither while in the aura. Soul Armor: A soul spinner can use his stored souls as a tangible force that can be added to his armor class. A soul spinner can expend an equal amount of souls as half his soul spinner level to add to armor class. This armor bonus lasts for 24hours, after which the souls are expended. Soul Extention: The soul spinner can expend one of his stored souls to deliver a touched attack in his place. The soul can target any being the soul spinner can see within a 100 mile radius. Spell-like Ability: More info to come. The soul spinner gains this ability at each the 3rd, 6th, and 9th levels. The soul spinner must expend one soul per spell-like ability acessable or take 2 points of constitution damage per spell-like ability acessable. Body Enhancement: The soul spinner can expend one soul to tempoarily increase one ability score by one. This can be used many times, but one ability cannot be boosted more than an amount equal to half the soul spinner level or passed 18, whichever comes first. This ability can be used many times, each time it takes one other soul. These bonuses last for 24 hours. Soul Companion: A soul spinner can animate dead as the spell as a free action costing the soul spinner no material goods by expending one soul. The soul is released after one year of service or until destroyed. Soul Power: The soul spinner can enhance his casting abilites by expending souls as arcane magic. The soul spinner can expend a soul as a spell, casting the magic through the souls' body. The number of souls expended equals the spell level of the spell able to be cast. A soul spinner can choose to do this ability many times, each time it expends an equal amount of souls as the spell level of the spell being cast. |

May I ask how a soul can reflex a save against someone gaining control over it? No, it's going to be a will save... I decided that it would be the most approprite. |

lol sorry the whole reflex thing got me in a chuckle I say it should be a will because you need the "will" to break his control..and blah blah blah and yes I do realise that you have already decided... |
Words are a waste of time. Destruction is a language everyone understands.

nonono i never said it should be a reflex to dodge the spell somehow. i meant that in MY MIND a soul shouldnt be able to roll fortitude, but should be able to roll a reflex or will. good choice, will is the best option in my opinion (which is what i said....*mumble*) |

i think it should be a will. first of all it wouldn't really be relflex or fortitude because your physical shell is gone, leaving more of aa spirtual and mental aspect to your soul. |
| Ah, gravity, thou art a heartless bitch. | |
