I would think he would because its like when we were on the floating boat/book thingy. I asked Trev if I could study how the captain sailled the ship and all that and then he said I got a +1 bonus to all sailing checks from then on.
Words are a waste of time. Destruction is a language everyone understands.

OOH yeah i gues syour right then, but youd likely get like a +2 if he TOLD you how to sail the ship and DEMONSTRATED detailedishly (is that a word?....IT IS NOW!)

**He explained in detail**

You do not often interact with people in the fasion that is often looked upon as normal for role playign games. the core basis of the game is interaction, you make it asecondary goal.

Yes, you would for a specific weapon he taught you how to make. Lets say he teaches you how to craft a short sword, and checks to make a short sword in the future would have the +1 to craft checks. Non-stackable, Non-refundable.

Seems like some sort of super enhanced shadow dancer / assassin combination with oodles of special abilities; seems to me that this class is to shadow dancers and assassins what the NWN PRCs "Ultimate Ranger" is to the "Ranger."

Very much so powerful, but still within usability.

----IMPORTANT EDITS------

---Undetectable is now reduced to +5 to Move Silently and Hide, and +10 when in shadow form.

---Shadow Form has had it's duration cut from 1 hour/level to 10mins/level

--- Darkness has a caster level = to 1/2 the Shadow Stalker level rather than full.

--- Shadow Self has been increased to 1hr/2levels, maximizing at 3 times a day, 5 hours each time.

This should nerf this PrC enough.

could you go balance your shadow stride thing into more than one use?

i think you nerfed it too much, i liked it better before....*sob*

death attack is overpowered in my opinion. normally its assassin level+ assassin intel mod (now i know its not an assassin...) but given a rogue has to be at least 6th level, hes gonna have another 3d6 damage on top of the 10 for the DC.

by the time you get death attack, you have another 2d6 on top of that.

given they have the same level, the assassin's DC would be 14+intel mod (lets make him a smart assassin, and give him 18 intel which means a +4 mod) so 18DC.

shadow stalker would have 10 +5d6 DC. say he rolls a 2 on every roll (about average right?) it would be a dc 20. which is right away more than the assassin.

if the are both at level 10, assassin would have about a 24DC.

shadow dancer would have a 10+7d6, again given he rolls a miesly two each time he'll have a 24DC, like the assassin. now theres a chance that he'll roll a 1 each time, so a 17 DC, but theres a chance he'll roll a 6 each time, which is a high DC.

heres my idea: when not in shadow-form, have him use the assassin's dc. when IN shadow-form, have him use the dc of 10+damage dealt (or the assassin's, hir choice)

Shadow Stride can be used up to 10 times a day at level 10.

Death Attack should be as Assasin, so I will change that.

All other edits were manditory.

another thing i was thinking: if he uses death attack from the shadow plane...or shadow (i picture him traveling to the shadow plane when going shadow form) then have it that the target is flat footed and touch armor class...just an idea since hes just comming from shadows and his weapon is still shadowy, it'll go through armor n stuff

give them dark vision
