The Pussification of America

You gotta be sh*ting me

It all started when Chevy decided to axe the Impala SS, then they come back with it 5-6 years later. WITH A V-6.

You'll see me post from time to time on the Pussification of America. The article above says it all.

But, I have some friends who are teachers and they teach in both private and public schools. The biggest problem now they face (it started a few years ago) is the attitude of "I can show up and just be rewarded for that." One of them used a perfect word for it and I can't remember it now, good thing she's the teacher.

One friend, Liz, has really made a good point. A lot of these kids have parents who are baby boomers, but more so that select group of baby boomers.
These are the kids that always got a trophy, never kept score, and we're always rewarded for just being there. They are now getting ready to graduate and expect the world to be handed to them.

Remember growing up. Did you have a bicycle helmet? Did you armor yourself in pads from head to toe? That's because Baby Boomers grew up to get in places of power to make these decisions.

I could ramble on for hours on this aging useless age group.

Jeepers. Pretty soon they wont have points or a score in video games. Or you can't die or get a game over!

What are we becoming as a nation. Socialists! That's what!

Kids need this code to work in every situation...

up up down down left right left right B A start.

or B A select start if there are more than one of them.

That would make it easier on them.

It wasn't one word, but a little phrase.

Sense of Entitlement

Or as my friend Liz put it. "Kids today think they can achieve the same thing that someone else does with 1/2 the effort. They have this huge sense of entitlement with everything in their life now, it was never like this 10-15 years ago."
