I honestly believe that the Bears have the D to shut down any offense in the league on any given day. That doesn't necessarily mean that they will but I feel that the talent is there to stop any offense, including the Colts and Seahawks. The problem I have is that if the Bears fall behind by more than a field goal in any game I don't think they have the offense to bring them back (especially against d's like the Colts have)

I have a hard time seeing the Colts reaching the Super Bowl. They're a rug team, the Patriots have the experience, and the malestrom that surrounds their head coach maybe their undoing.

Sensibilities. Us here in the Midwest tend to have bigger units then those in the Southwest. (All apologies to Len & his SEC sissymaryies.)

Great showing last night by the Wolves. Nebraska was 4-4 in the worst divison in the Big 12, hell they lost to Misouri and got blown out by Kansas for goodness.

I bet you Minnesota loses to a weak Virginia by 20 and Penn St. loses to FSU by 14. And lets not even talk about the schlacking Wisconsin will receive by Auburn.

Final Auburn 42 Wisconsin 3

Bank it.

Not 1 TD.

(o.k. maybe a late 4th quarter score in garbage time)

Badgers 24
Auburn 10

Brian Calhoun made the Tiger defense look silly. (30 rushing attempts for 213 yards.)

You were saying Len.......??.........

That was a fun game to watch. 2006 is the year God answers my prayers.

Dec 1st my wife asked me about Mike Tice and whether I'd fire him or not. I said God Willing, if Zigy is THE MAN and wants my vote of confidence, he'll fire Tice within the hour of the final whistle.

Dreams DO come true.

BTW... my other dream... Childress from Philly, is in town today!!!

More proof Len shouldn't handicap college ball.

The game last night was tremendous!! (Aside from the missed extra points and field goals.....)

The Rose Bowl. That game was exactly what a bowlk game should be and for once they got it right, pitting the two best teams, without a doubt, against one another. But, what's the consenus on how Vince Young will do in the NFL?!

The game was fantastic. Vince Young up'd himself a few spaces in the draft, but he won't be a #1..........

Probably figured he'd already had his great run in Wisconsin taking the Badgers to 5 bowls in 6 years.

Now, knowing his relationship with Alvarez, I'd like to see him sign Alvarez as the offensive coordinator.

I know Alvarez is "retired" but, it's surprising how unretired former NCAA coaches become when NFL dollars are thrown at them.

It will be a sad day in Wisconsin if Alvarez comes here for coaching.

Maybe the Pack will hit him up for a head coaching job. Doubtful, but it would be classic.
