The new and improved points system has been implemented, called "AIO". This is a very advanced and feature rich system. Before you can use this system or even see yours/anyone's points total, you need to register an AIO account on the forums with a password. Please follow these steps to quickly register your AIO account. 1.) On the user navigation bar, hover over Manage Points and proceed to select Register. You need to be logged in to your forums account to accomplish this.  2.) Enter the password you wish to use. It is recommended that your password be the same as your forums' password to avoid confusion.  3.) After you entered your password and confirmed it, you will be directed to the login page. Simply enter your password you created here.  4.) Once logged in (which you shall remain logged in), you should see your points total in your miniprofile on all your posts, as well as everyone else's points totals.  In addition, you will be able to use the User CP, which contains links to things such as leaderboard, where you can view whom the richest members are. Initially everyone will start out with 0 points, and you can gain points by either posting replies in threads or creating a new one yourself. Alike the previous points system, the amount of points you gain per post/thread is determined by how well constructed your post/thread is. Points gained is significantly larger when creating new threads compared to simply posting replies in current threads. You can gain points in all forum, except for Forum-based Games and all submission forums. Points are currently used for CaS submissions only, and it is required to submit more than one character to the site. For details on the amount of points required to submit a certain amount of characters, it can be found here. In the future, there will be more usage with points, including shopping, and points donation may likely be made possible. For any comments or questions concerning this addition, please let me know. You are using Internet Explorer, that's why. Please upgrade to Firefox to use the system and earn points. You won't lose anything as Firefox can import all your Internet Explorer settings including bookmarks. Unfortunately Internet Explorer is not compatible with the system at this time, as well as some other browsers such as Safari. |

Everybody's points has been reset yeah. As for the shop, I'm uncertain atm what I'll be using it for and for what items. Currently everyone can set up and sell their own items via the system, though I'm unsure how legit things can be if that was possible in the long run. |

i only downloaded firefox for this site lol. all my other web browsing i still use internet explorer. what could people sell? dlc? |

This is such a cool system, bravo for implementing it. Though I don't know if points will do me any good aisde from shopping for possible stuff in the shop. |

Don't know what you would determine as large, but atm the largest amount you can earn is 15 points by creating a new thread. There will of course be stuff like contests which rewards large amounts of points. In addition I may consider bringing back points rewards for special posts, such as carrying out requests or posting comments in the presentations forum. It's just the tedious task of keeping track of points gained a little nuisance. |

You are probably not logged into the AIO, because your cookies were corrupted or erased. Try logging in under Manage Points or the login panel near the top of the forums and see if that resolves it. It's working fine for me. I notice you have 0 points, so I'm assuming you haven't registered your AIO account yet. If that's the case, you can do that under the Manage Points drop down menu on the hover menu. Edited by C.T, Apr 13 2009, 05:34 PM.
