CHARACTER DOCUMENTATION
Character Name: Llewellyn Davies
Character Nickname: Llyn
Character Age: Fifteen
Character Year: Fifth
House/Alumni: Ravenclaw

Physical Appearance:
Llewellyn’s appearance is a simple one. She is not the fairest, nor the prettiest, and she is sure there are other girls boys would choose before her. She has a very innocent look about her, which helps her get away with a lot of things. When it comes to clothes, Llewellyn just goes with whatever is comfortable and whatever she wants. She does not like to follow trends, so she tries to be her own person; which sometimes does not always work. Whether it is wearing a bright coloured neck lace, or different coloured shoe laces, she will wear it, just to stand out. All she is had her whole life were boys to look up to, so she turned out to be a bit of a tomboy. She likes to play rough sports with her brothers, and does not mind getting dirty every once in a while. Though, there are some days when Llewellyn comes to class and she is looking quite dressed up; it is usually because she is trying to impress a boy and whatnot. With her v neck black sweater, yellow swingy skirt, and the right accessories, she has the perfect combination of bohemian goddess and rock chick.

At first glance it looks like Llewellyn’s eyes are any other normal, boring brown colour. But if you look closely, you can see they are quite different. Firstly, she has sort of a mix of both her parents’ eyes in shape. They are small and almond shaped, which resemble both her of parents very well. The colours of her eyes are what get people’s attention, however. The pupil looks almost pure black, and has a blue ish tint around it, which blends into a dark, mahogany brown. Around the brown there is a hue of gold, with tints of silver in it. Llewellyn thinks her eyes as her best physical feature, and she is quite right. Sometimes, like when Llewellyn is mad, her eyes tend to turn a darker colour and the pretty blue and gold go away and turn into a dark brown, like the rest of her eyes.

Personality and Traits:
Llewellyn is rarely seen without a book in her hands. She’s very studious, and keeps her school work and education at the top of her list above everything. She takes great pride in being a Ravenclaw, and wears the badge proudly. Being one of the top students of her year, the bad thing about Llewellyn is that she tends to be a bit conceited because of her brilliance. She’s extremely stubborn, and will never admit when she’s wrong or needs help. Llewellyn is very independent, and will very rarely let things be done for her. Even though Llewellyn is a pureblood, she doesn’t mind being friends with muggles or muggle borns. She doesn’t see anything wrong with them, and doesn’t understand why other pureblood witches and wizards make such big deals about them.

Music is Llewellyn’s life. She considers it to be second on her list, right under education. She’s extremely talented at playing the piano, and plays it frequently. She loves to play Mozart, especially Mozart’s Canon in D, which is her absolute favorite song. Not only does she play the piano well, she also plays the violin. She doesn’t play it as much, but when she does she does it very well. Llewellyn likes to sing as well, but thinks she’s horrible at it. She’s taken a stab at having private voice lessons by a muggle instructor, but didn’t like it, so she continues to sing simply for fun. Along with music, Llewellyn writes poetry as well. She’s even composed a few songs with lyrics, but of course has never shown anyone. She’s very self-conscious about her writing, and has only shown her parents her work.

Llewellyn also loves animals, both magical and muggle. If her music plans don’t work out, she plans to become the Care of Magical Creatures professor at Hogwarts when she gets older. She has a pet Snowy owl named Errol she’s had for years, and doesn’t plan on giving him up anytime soon. She honestly thinks of Errol as her best friend. At home, she has a tan, orange kitten named Kane that she just recently got as a birthday present. Though Llewellyn may seem very mature for her age, she still has some growing up to do. She absolutely loves muggle Disney movies, and has a big collection. She has a small, brown teddy bear named Arthur that was given to her at birth that she still sleeps with at night. Of course, she’d never admit to having such things.

When it comes to hanging around with her friends, Llewellyn seems to be like a completely different person. She’s been described as funny, but she doesn’t think so, she just calls it good timing. Llewellyn doesn’t have many friends, but feels she’s lucky for the few that she does have. She tends to be a bit picky when she’s letting people into her life. Llewellyn probably would’ve been placed in Hufflepuff if it hadn’t been for her brilliance. She’s very loyal to her family and friends, and will dive in front of a bullet [or spell, rather] before she let it hit you. Llewellyn is a very good friend, and will never let anything happen to you. When it comes to boys, Llewellyn is extremely shy. It may look like she’s mean and cold, when in fact it’s simply that she’s shy. She’s never been in an actual relationship before, and isn’t that surprised. Boys just never notice her; and frankly, she doesn’t mind.

Even though she’s not, Llewellyn has a few autistic tendencies to her. For one, she hates to be in a big group of people. She gets so claustrophobic, so much so that she almost starts hypervenolating. She also hates to be touched. She can’t even stand hugs, or she just feels wrong. She doesn’t like the dark either. She’s not terribly afraid, she just prefers being in light.

Background/Family History:
Llewellyn Melanie Davies was born to Roger Davies and Orla Quirke of London. On a cold, snowy, December night, Llewellyn came into the world. Her mother was too weak to go to the hospital, so her father called a doctor to come to the house. The weather outside seemed to respond to what was going on inside. Llewellyn wasn’t expected for another three weeks, and she came early. So naturally, the house was extremely busy. It was buzzing about with her father running around, a doctor, a nurse, her mother’s friend, and even their house elf wasn’t sure what was going on. Everything they had planned went down the drain because Llewellyn came early, so they weren’t all the way prepared.

Llewellyn started showing signs of autism at an early age. She knows something is wrong with her, but she’s afraid to speak to him about it. She first noticed it one summer day when she was bored and exploring the grounds around their home. They live in a big house in the English country side, so there’s a lot of room to explore. There was an old shed way in the back that Llewellyn had never noticed before. Curious, she went into the shed. She found an old, antique chair. Wanting to try it out, she sat down. If it held she planned to take it and keep it in her room.

Well, Llewellyn went into the shed and was minding her own business when the shed door slammed shut by the wind. It wasn’t a very big shed, and it was dark and musty, and obviously not has been used in years. She was far from the house, so she was basically stuck. She’d left her wand in her room, so she couldn’t use that. Terrified, Llewellyn began frantically searching for an alternate escape, but to no avail. Llewellyn ended up getting so claustrophobic that she fainted, waking up hours later. It was night time by then, and she finally found a window, broke it, and got back home. She still hasn’t told her father about that incident.

Role-Playing Sample:
As Margot continued to toss and turn in her bed, she was getting more and more frustrated with each turn. Insomnia was slowly taking over, she could feel. The later it got, the more awake she became. Looking over at her bedside table clock, Margot groaned as she saw it was half past two in the morning. The only sounds being heard were the soft snoring of her dorm mates, and she wished desperately she could join them. Margot was almost positive she was the only one awake in the dorm, which made things worse. Well, easier since she was planning to sneak out if she didn't get to sleep soon. Margot really shouldn't sneak out, as she had classes in just a few, short hours. But in her mind she knew there was no point in trying anymore, she already has been trying to get to sleep for five hours now.

Fifteen more minutes passed, which now made it 2:45 a.m. Sighing heavily, Margot sat up in bed, swung her feet over and slipped on her house shoes and robe. As Margot began to creep her way across the dorm floor, she took out her wand, ready to light it when she entered the pitch black corridors. That's one of the only things she didn't like about the castle. At night they made it so dark you can't see your nose in front of your face. Margot opened the door to the dorm, and began to make her way down the marble steps to the common room. As she neared it, she heard the crackling of a fire. Hm...someone must be up too, she thought, shrugging. Margot opened the door slowly and peaked her head in, twisting her brow in confusion when she saw it was empty. Okay... she thought, shrugging once more. Margot walked across the common room, looking around. She didn't understand why they always left all the lights in the common room lit, when the students weren't allowed to leave their dorms after curfew (which, of course, didn't stop Margot). Margot loved the look and feel of the common room. It was so homey and warm. With its yellow, gold, and red carpet and rugs, big, comfy armchairs couches, Margot definatly spent a lot of time there.

Finally, Margot was out in the corridors, so therefore she took out her wand and whispered, "Lumos," and a glow of light surrounded her. She hoped no professors, prefects, or staff was out for a late-night stroll, she could get detention for this. In her six years at the school, Margot has never set foot in detention. This gave her easy access for Slytherin taunting, because she was such a "goody-goody". Though, she shut them up quick because she had something not a lot of people did. Metamorphmagus powers. They were excellent, and she loved using it. She got what she wanted a lot of the time, because she was able to make herself cry at will because of them. She didn't do that often, just when she really wanted something. Margot knew her parents knew she would use it for her own sake, but yet they never disagreed. Oh well, she shouldn't be complaining, right?

As Margot began to walk through the corridors, she could now hear not her dorm mates snoring, but now the paintings. They were so annoying sometimes; but they were also very entertaining. In one painting, she saw that it was a painting of a mother and a baby. The baby had woken up, and was crying loudly. The paintings around it woke up as well, and was arguing loudly. Margot shook her head and chuckled to herself, and continued on. She was glad she was in Gryffindor, because she didn't have a long way to go to get to her destination in mind. At times like this she would normally go to a secluded area and play the piano, but she didn't know any sound-proofing spells, and she didn't want to get caught. She was actually surprised she hadn't been caught yet.

At last, Margot pushed open the doors to the towers, slowly, as they creaked. When Margot entered the staircase that lead to the rooftop, she had to stop and wait for her eyes to adjust to the sudden, even darker, darkness. It was a small staircase that went up to the roof, but it was extremely dark. In the daytime you could at least have the light coming in from the cracks in the door. But now, nothing. Finally, Margot's eyes were adjusted, and she walked up the stairs to the roof, and opened the door. Margot was immediatly greeted with bright moonlight, as the moon was right over her head. The moon was so big and bright, Margot felt she could reach up and grab it. Sighing happily, Margot walked over to her usual spot and sat down, looking up at the sky.

There were two people Margot couldn't get out of her head, which she thought contributed to her no sleeping. One was Clark Potter. He was so sweet and kind, and they've been friends for years. Margot could probably trust Clark with anything, and not fear him telling anyone. She didn't want to admit it to herself, but she was afraid she...loved him. Margot didn't want to love him, because she was almost positive he didn't feel that way about her, and she didn't want to get hurt.

The other was Armand Malfoy. She thought that was more lust than anything. He was so handsome, Margot frequently found herself staring. But the only problems with that was, he was a Malfoy, and she was sure he didn't know she existed. Even though they've been in the same classes since first year. She didn't understand it, actually. Margot wasn't that bad to look at, and she was a good person. That might be the problem. In fact, she was sure it was. The Malfoys were so picky and strict. Margot was a Gryffindor, and on top of that, her family didn't have that much money. Sighing heavily, Margot promised herself she wouldn't cry. It was just so hard when the two people she cared a lot about didn't return her feelings.

This isn't very adminly of me, but I can't see where Molly or Jamie would fault me for what I'm about to say -- Change the name? I'm hyper-sensitive about people using names that I have, and considering both Akari and I harped on your use of this name at a site where I used it, I would think I wouldn't have to ask. Again. Yeah, yeah. I don't have a patent on the name, but this is me being nice.

I actually remember the site you're talking about. I didn't know you were at this one (I couldn't remember who it was before). But whatever, I guess the name Braewyn Davies, then? But I don't really want to bother going through and changing the name, I'm too lazy.
