As is traditional of Hogwarts, it is holding it’s annual Christmas Ball. Open to all years and set one week before those leaving the grounds for the holidays are set to depart. As usual, it is being held in the Great Hall with it’s familiar set of iced-over decorations. Decorated trees and caroling suits of armor are set up sparingly throughout the room and the candles magicked to hover above the dining tables [all of which have been removed and replaced with smaller, circular tables set in corners] have been charmed to look like glowing icicles. The dress code for the evening is formal, however it is not necessary that you wear dress robes. Cocktail dresses and nice suits work just fine.

Double, double, toil and trouble. Learn how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses by the use of cauldrons and other useful materials, and even put a stopper in death.

Believed to have held an ancient mirror capable of viewing one's desires, it seems as though it has managed to cave itself in, only leaving a few cracks for smaller students to venture through.

Now why don't you tickle the pear on the portrait of fruit and see what happens. You'll be stunned to find those sensible, loving house-elves preparing what you would consider slavework.

Ah, the ancient art of duelling. Learning to put your DADA skills to use may be very helpful in the near future.

Is it your first time at Hogwarts and you need to find your way? Feel free to ask around here. Prefects and other students will be sure to assist.

Throughout the day, students and staff alike enter here to eat, snack, and even study whilst outside of their classes, dormitories, and common rooms.

Deep down at the end of the ground floor resides the caretaker's office. Many students tend to sneak in, not realizing that they could be seen from afar.

Known to have been used for Divination lessons by the centaur Firenze in the year 1995, this room is still in existence, forever taking the scenery of the forest outside.

Those who are willing to take a risk at using new and improved spells to protect themselves against Dark Magic are eligible to partake this course.

Do you need help transforming the materials given and are in a desperate need for help? The professor will be glad to assist.

Disturbing the moaning of Myrtle the ghost could result in loud commotions and possible threats. Therefore, the Hogwarts staff would advise all females to use a different bathroom.

A few calculators, watches, and electronic instruments can be found lounging along the cabinets of this personal, cupboard-like room.

Broomsticks used for Quidditch practicing, flying, and cleaning are to be kept here in these closets when not being used. A few boggarts may be lurking around this area, so students are asked to be extremely cautious when visiting.

Having a bad day and need some privacy? The girls bathrooms are the perfect place for you to be, and not even Moaning Myrtle can disturb you.

Are you injured, in need of medicine, or simply wish to have a check-up? School healers, nurses, and mediwizards are here to help you.

Here you can find tons of previous House and Quidditch Cups saved for past reference. Don't lean too close to the glass; you wouldn't want them to break.

Experience the magic by levitating objects, blowing things up, and much, much more with the professor and your peers. Remember, swish and flick!

Do you have an interest in agriculture, electicity, and other Muggle attractions? Feel free to sign up, but please refrain from bringing your wands, as they won't be used frequently.

Said to hold many dangerous creatures inside, those who wish to suffer a most painful death are free to enter, but beware! The right-hand side of the corridor is said to be strictly forbidden to all students.

Get some time to be by yourself, only accompanied by the millions of books and resources shelved around you. Make sure that you keep quiet, and absolutely no candies or beverages are allowed inside.

When not instructing the class on how to properly adjust their telescropes to view the planets, the Professor can be found lurking somewhere in here.

Hey, why are you trying to go into the girls bathrooms? These are the ones you're permitted to enter. You don't want the staff to find you in there, do you?

Transform objects into animals and vice-versa only using your wand. If you're experienced enough, you might even be able to Transfigure more than just objects.

Plants and pottery not found in the Greenhouses will usually be placed up here, some even being used in mandrake potions and the like.

Do you desire private flying lessons or need to know when the season will begin? Feel free to ask the person of expertise here.

Interpreting ancient symbols and translating hieroglyphics is the focus of what this class is about, and many really do enjoy it.

Along the top sides of the main castle lie three towers, the owlery, and the rooftop. It is said that one of the towers has been used as common rooms for students.

Many students gather round here just to get out and breathe in some new, fresh air; others come here to be escorted into Hogsmeade village during weekend field trips.

Make sure to put on your earmuffs tightly when repotting mandrakes with the Professor and the class, or you'll surely regret it.

Many dangerous creatures may live within these woods, which leads down to the lake. First-years have been advised to stay at the ready, and all students should not be found anywhere near here afterhours.

The crystal blue waters can be found at the end of the Forbidden Forest leading out onto the rivers which inhabit around Hogwarts. Some underwater activity has been spotted on occasions, probably the merpeople or the giant squid.

Connected through a trail at Hogwarts, Hogsmeade is proudly known as the only place with Wizarding residents alone. Students and adults frequently take trips here for recreation, food, and fun.

Looking for a place to shop for school supplies for Hogwarts, or simply need to finish some late arrands? The streets of Diagon Alley are your best resources. This small, but crowded, community separates the Muggle world from ours. Beware of Knockturn Alley; you wouldn't want to be spotted there.

An excellent source for Flesh-Eating Slug Repellants, this desolate alley is inhabited mostly by dark witches and wizards, most-likely stirring up trouble. You wouldn't want to be found here, especially if you are a pupil.

Places not mentioned entirely will be found here, such as residences, Godric's Hollow, King's Cross, etc.

Venture the world of non-magic folk. Keep in mind that students cannot use magic here, unless in a life-threatening situation. The Decree of Underage Wizardry and Warlocks' Statue of Secrecy are in order.
