If you can read this, the song is A Little Peace of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold. A WARNING, the video is very graphic.

Even though it was filmed in the same style, Cloverfield is nothing like that awful movie. J.J. Abrams has really outdone himself with this, and I can only hope his upcoming films will be as good. Being how as I'm not one for HUGE spoilers, I won't exactly say who dies.. but I will say that there was far too much Hype for this movie. Was it worth it? Nothing ever is, and this was no exception. The monster that everyone has been asking about seems to be some sort of Chutulu creature (Dragon/Human/Squid) and all I can say is: Good job for originality. The few bad points of this movie are only that it took a while to pick up, introducing that characters in a 'party scene' that honestly makes you wonder why you're even watching this. The narrative is great, reminding the viewer that some humor and realizim can be found in the situation. Another downer, too much movement. The camera moves so much that you don't really get a good look at the creature until the last fifteen minutes of the movie. If you only want to see it for the monster, look on the web. But, if you want a gripping story of a lone man looking through a post-apocoliptic city for his missing friend.. go right ahead into the area known only as "Cloverfield." |

Thanks a ton for this review, my friends and I are really tempted to go see it, your review helped a lot. I think we'll still drag each other over to the theater to check it out, I'm glad you didn't spoil too badly! And yes, the Blair Witch Projects sucked. XD |

I heard that a lot of people were getting sick from the movie. Not from the monster but from the camera jerking so much. My dad said that the movie made someone so sick that she demanded for her money back. But still. I really wanted to see "Cloverfield". |
