If you can read this, the song is A Little Peace of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold. A WARNING, the video is very graphic.

Okay, so one thing you should know about me and animes is that I like a lot of the older stuff. The Guyver being my favorite of all times and many people don't know anything about it... And every time I bring it up and I get a blank stare it kills me inside. It has the kind of action now-a-day animes don't have, an interesting plot and story and its just old school! What else is there to say?! Anyways, it came out in the late 80's when my mom, uncle and grandma would watch it all the time until it ended. And for a while I wasn't allowed to watch it because it was bad according to my mom when my grandma had the tapes. (Yes, my family including my grandma likes anime too. But they like the old stuff and not so much on the new stuff.) One day my grandma bought all the episodes on DVD and sat us down to watch it with her. While I felt guilty for watching it without my mom’s permission I found out it the best freaking thing in the world!! Now, I'm telling you.. no demanding you to go and look for some of the episodes just to check out. But make sure you are looking at the '89 version.. Not the 2005... It’s the remake and I hate remakes.. And it probably didn’t do the original justice. |

*looks up information on it* ...the "remake" isn't actually a remake...it's the official anime...the version you're talking about apparently is the OVA...but all is well...I'll try and find it since it looks kinda cool...XD but fyi, its rated "M" for mature on Anime News Network...and they only give that rating to anime that have sex AND extreme graphic violence...the latter I enjoy in anime form...the first...never have nor wish to experience...>.< |

Either way, I don't care much for the anime, I'm one who loves and sticks close to the original of anything. It will always have a place in my heart *is proud* I’ve watched a few of the new stuff and shrugged. And I don't actually recall any sex in the Guyver. But there is alot of gore, I agree with that |

Wicked cool, I'll try to find some stuff on it...to youtube! AND AWAY~! ---Tiger Quick Fix--- After struggling to discern the new from the old I managed to watch the opening for the old version and it actually looks like something I'd watch. It reminds me of DBZ mixed with Gundam (just from watching the opening), both shows I used to love and obsess over...before they went on for too long but that's beside the point. This definitely has the old anime feel to it but I like it, makes me feel like a kid again. <--First time using an emote in AGES...

*Woot* Yesh! The orginal old-time opening for the Guyver is the greatest! I used to know the freakin' words to that song! Now I can only hum the tune. Ugg, if you watched it on the DVDs or found another opening for it it's crap because they don't even use the song and just some crappy tune. You had to go to the special features for the orginal opening. Old anime is the best! |
