In the past few months, I have been reading a new shoujo from Shoujo Beat called La Corda d'Oro. KaKa-chan and Saku-nee would recognize it considering KaKa-chan bought it for me and Saku-nee read it. Today I got Volume 4 while out with Neko. On the LCdO high I'm on, I went to check YouTube when I found it IT'S AN ANIME AS WELL!!! I am flippin' out! EEEEKK! To those who don't know it, it's a about young Kahoko Hino, a general education student at Seiso academy. Every couple of years there's a music competition within the school. However, usually the participants are all from the music school segment of Seiso. But after an unexpected experience with a fata (music fairy), Kahoko is plunged into the competition. The problem? She doesn't know how to play any instrument. So alongside the magical violen given to her by Lili, the fata, Kahoko learns about music, friendship, heartbreak, and a little something about love on the way. It sounds weird, I know. I was a little undecided in the beginning. But truly, once the ball gets rolling, you love it! I give it a 4 out of 5 and as of now I'm trying out the anime. |

By the way, if anyone finds episodes (opuses) 17-25 out in subs, please alert me immediately. I have yet to find them subbed (only in raw) and the people who've been subbing the ones I've been watching aren't done subbing yet, so if anyone finds them, please post here or something! I would love you forever! (No Homo). |
