*Of course, I will. I was waiting for someone else, mainly Tenshi but I'll post now* The Primal once again looked back, probably receiving strange looks from Nozomi with her hesitation. But she couldn't help but feel there was someone else coming this way. She wanted to just think it was a simple forest creature but she knew it was something else and she wanted to stay and find out but she also wanted to find that person that killed these men. She hated being torn like this, now she wished she could rewind and take that left instead of that right that got her here in the first place. All of this didn't benefit her in anyway, only caused problems. She sighed inwardly, rubbing the back of her neck as her panther tail flicked, showing her trouble. Then something pierced the air and disrupted her thoughts. Her ears perked and she turned her head in the direction it had came from... A scream? What happened now? Despite this, she didn’t move but had a face that showed she was thinking intensely. Should they go check it out? Or would it invite more trouble then they could handle? |

Yume stared at the man. Yes it had been one of the persons after her before. She stood up and ran. She didn't care where, didn't care what would happen. All she could feel was fear, something she hadn't felt since her mother had been killed. As Yume ran she could feel her energy fade. Long didstance really wasn't something she had ever been good at. She slowed down and stopped, breathing heavilly. She looked up to see two blury things. Could it be the other precensis she felt before? Yume shook her head and stood up. She could feel a slight breeze hit her. It felt so nice. She looked over the land, trying to make out the figures. All she could see were tails and ears, and 4 glowing eyes. 'Who and what are they?' she thought, not moving from her spot. The smell of blood rushed into her nose, filling her senses. She could feel her mood change a little, her normal crystal blue eyes changing to a deep glowing purrple. |

*I'M SO SORRY RED-CHAN!! GOMENASAI!! I've been busy like heck these past coupla days and I couldn't get on! >.< ACK! I'll post now!* Nozomi noticed the hesitation in Itagura's manner. She was starting to think that maybe going after this thing wasn't the best idea after all. But she couldn't go back on her word; it would just be disgraceful. The wind swept by them, rustling the grass, then all was silent. Just as Nozomi was about to speak, a shrill scream pierced the morning air. Her ears perked and her tail stiffened, her body rigid. Suddenly her mind was on auto-pilot. Nozomi couldn't even feel herself controlling her body as she sprinted towards the sound. Maybe the beast was at it again. If so, if she could save this one, just this one.... Nothing ran through her mind after that. Nozomi was on the move. |

As Yume ran, she didn't pay attention to anything around her. Suddenly she bumped into something, or was it someone? She didn't know, all she knew is she wanted to get away from where she was. She clung to the thing she just ran into. Was it smart to cling to something or someone she didn't know. Was she truely only clinging, or was she about to hurt it? She let go of what she was hanging onto, and looked it righ in... the eye? *Sorry for the short post ^_^. I changed what Yume did last time, so ignore it, other then Yume was running ^_^, sorry to make it a little confusing -_-. Ok next!!* |

*Ah! Tenshi you have returned! And don't worry, it's alright I would have continued to wait* Bring wrapped up her thoughts she almost didn't notice that Nozomi took instant action to the scream. She tensed, thinking of what could probably happen now if the killer was there. She gritted her teeth and then leaped off, running after the canine girl. "Nozomi!" She called her voice hard almost like an angry older sister or of that sort. When she caught up, she noticed another girl right before she collided with Nozomi. She took a few more steps, stopping a few feet behind the two as her ears flattened and she crossed her arms while she watched. Now, who was this girl, and what was she doing here? |

*FINALLY! People are posting! Half of the site is on vacae and I'm going up the wall! XD* Nozomi could Itagura's scolding shouts, but at that point she couldn't really do anything. 'Why?' one would ask. Because a strange female was clinging to her neck like the world was ending. "Um... hello?" Nozomi tried to speak, more confused than ever. Her head tilted quizzically. After a moment, Nozomi glanced back at her primal friend... who, note, did not look too happy. Shooting Itagura an apologetic grin first, Nozomi mouthed to her 'Um, a little help anytime now would be appreciated'. Looking back at the strange girl, that was when Nozomi saw it. The girl wasn't just strange in behavior. Nozomi's chestnut eyes stared at the girl's quivering tail, then her eyes trailed up the the silver cat ears. Was this girl a primal? |

*I was considering waiting until Sakura came back and posted but I guess I'll go ahead and post now.* Kila paused and tensed in mid-stroke of the fluffy white rabbit as a scream penetrated her ears. "What was that?" She hissed, lifting her hand from the rabbit as it bounded away to safety. Bachi sniffed the air in annoyance, I sense a number of presences gathering in one spot, centered around a creature that scents of blood and fish. He concluded, settling down onto Kila's shoulders once more. "Is the were-cat there?" Kila inquired of the black-footed ferret. No, I sense the primals from earlier and this new presence. Kila fixed her misty silver eyes on the shrouded wood that kept her away from the source of the scream, "Are they strong?" Bachi fixed his partner with an inquisitive stare. Most likely. "Could you lead me to them?" The shape shifting teen winced as Bachi dug thorn-sharp claws into her skin in an attempt to hold himself steady. You actually WANT me to take you to the source of danger? A nod. Proceed down our original course though you'll want to run if you wish to meet these creatures in time, extend your number of steps by another click and you'll be there. "Right." She huffed and, shifting just her muscles for speed, Kila took off, it was time to hire some new clients... |

Yume could feel eyes staring at her. She finally came to her senses and let go. She scooted back and looked at the one she was just holding onto for life. This creature had dog ears. She was staring at Yume's liver ears, now drenched in some blood. Yume looked up and found another girl, just staring at her, with a cold like stare. This one had cat ears, just like her. 'Is she a primal?' Yume asked herself. 'are they both primales? I haven't seen one in how long...' Yume stood up, and attempted to brush herself off, not succeeding vary well. "I'm sorry about that." Yume finally said, her voice quivering. She gave a small, but friendly smile. She looked like a mess. Her already red skirt had red blood stains on it, along with her black coarset. Her silver hair was a desaster, with blood soaked in it from the man tripping her. "It's just that it seems one man was still alive. These men were after me. I was hoping I'd have the pleasure of killing them myself." Yume sighed. She could feel the girls staring at her more intensly now. Had she said something wrong? *Sorry i haven't been on in a few days. Works been hectic. I love how things are going so far! Oh, and thanks for the welcomes!* |

*I have no idea what to write...so I'll just whing it* The water was getting steadily deeper. Koneko skimmed the shoreline and noted a rather large patch of lush grass. Sighing, she climbed out of the now nearly waist-high water, making sure that she got out on the opposite side she had gotten in from. Koneko sat down on the grass with a small thud. She reached into her pack and took out a second pair of black pants, identical to the ones she had on. She changed into the dry pants, and hung her dripping ones off a branch. Her shirt was damp and she hung that one up too. After pulling a dry shirt over her head, she laid back on the soft grass. Hunger gnawed at her stomach, and Koneko felt she should acknowledge it. She stood up and closed her eyes, throwing her senses out into the woods around her. The stream had fish, but Koneko was hungry for red meat. A small family of deer grazed a small distance from where she stood. 'No. I won't be able to finish a whole deer by myself, and it will be a hassle to lug around the excess meat.' She thought to herself, and continued to probe the nearby woods with her senses. A rabbit nibbled on some of the grass, so close to where Koneko was. She grabbed a small knife from her pack. Creeping up silently, she got downwind of the rabbit. She could smell its fur, a musky scent. Her eyes caught sight of the small and furry animal, and she calculated the distance. She aimed with her knife, and threw it. The blade hit the rabbit in the neck. The creature's life left it without a sound. Koneko trotted up to the rabbit and she snatched it up before returning to her small camp. She laid the dead rabbit on the grass, and walked down to the small beach. She grimaced as she realized her prints lead out of the water, but simply shrugged. It would be a wonder if they traveled this far down the river just to track her down. Koneko gathered some dry drift wood and made a small, cone-shaped pile. The rest of the wood she laid in a heap nearby. Koneko walked back to where her bag was and pulled out a lighter, which she used to light the wood to create a fire. As the fire began to burn, Koneko quickly gathered up ten strong sticks and carved the tips to a point, ensuring that they were somewhat clean. Then she got to work gutting and skinning the rabbit, skewering small chunks of meat onto the carved sticks. Koneko set them at an angle into the sand around the fire. She waited for them to cook, occasionally turning them so that the other side could be roasted. A lone wolf called out into the growing dark. Tonight was going to be a long night. *sorry, there isn't really much I can write...plus most of my writing talent is being put to work writing a new story...you'll see it soon...* |

Itagura's panther ears remained flat against her messy hair, a sort of unpleased look on her face as she listened to Yume speak. There was still distance between her and the other two. So then, is those men were after this girl why did they bother to attack the other person? It appeared they had provoked whoever killed them. She sighed, and her dark emeralds drifted elsewhere, there was a lot going on. And it still wasn't benefiting her. She looked to the sky, seeing it had darkened with time. She was suppose to be on the road right now after they finished breakfast. Which they never got too. She remained silent for while, placing her gloved hands on her hips while her tail swayed slowly from side to side. "Since you couldn't kill them, seeing as they were after you and all; do you have any idea who did?" She asked that nonchalant tone returning and didn't even look to Yume or Nozomi. Instead her eyes where still planted on the direction they had came from, that feeling of being followed lingering still. |

Kila skittered to a halt, pressing her palms against the base of a rather short tree and peeking around the ancient plant. There was a small concentrated group of...strange people (if you could even call them that) standing a few meters away from a quickly rushing river, Kila felt her heart kick up a few notches in fear. One was covered in blood. "So she killed my men." Kila growled. Bachi exhaled in aggravation, she was jumping to conclusions yet again. Misty blue eyes followed the scene before them, observing not the general happenings: the clinging of the blood spattered girl to the canine primal or the panther primal's comment. But rather, the more...essential parts. Kila took careful note of how the non-primal's muscles tensed and relaxed, of the stance of the panther primal, and she'd have Bachi run a scan of the canine's heart rate and stability. "Interesting...run a quick synopsis on the canine primal." She mumbled before flinching back. "The panther primal just looked at us, didn't she?" Kila asked Bachi. I believe so. He responded, The canine primal has a highly active immune system, her body's healing process seems to be abnormally fast and her heart is strong. "Lets go," Kila murmured, preparing to break the thin rank of trees that protected her from the strange event before her. Bachi dug his claws gently into her shoulder, a warning. "I HAVE to talk to them, with the vague hope that any of them shall prove useful to his Highness will keep me from being decommissioned and executed for doing poorly at my job. I don't want to die more then anything else on this forsaken planet...you know this Bachi." Yes, but why THIS group? Bachi demanded to know. "My deadline for progressing the government this year is tomorrow Bachi, men will be after me come sunrise if I don't report any significant findings. I'm doing poorly as a spy so it's now or never." Without waiting for a response from her partner, Kila threw herself from the vague protection of the trees, taking deep breaths in the attempt to calm her heart. She paused a foot away from the panther primal, "'Lo." She greeted the group with a quick wave of her hand. "Lets talk, I'm sure we can help each other," a quick glance at Yume, "out of certain...situations...?" |

Itagura tensed as the thought of being followed was true all along. And her she was, another girl that didn't hesitate to finally make her appearance. She didn't say anything back, but her full attention was on her, and if Nozomi or the other girl spoke to her she probably wouldn't have heard them. Her tail continued to sway side to side, as if agitated now. Once again, the company was getting to big for her liking. Her ears perked slightly at the other words that came from Kila. Talk? She supposed she would like some kind of answers now, some kind of conversation that went somewhere even if it didn't have anything to do with what was going on all day. "Are you offering a sort of job?" She asked, raising her head a little and lifting a brow. If this was about business, then she would listen now. |

*And I have returned from the realm of pain and agony! XP* Nozomi had frozen on the ground, watching the girl who had tackled her. So when another unfamiliar voice spoke from behind her, she freaked. Nozomi leapt to her feet, startled. Her chestnut eyes honed in on the newcomer's misty orbs. She didn't recognize her scent, but yet it was familiar all the same. Must be human. Hearing Itagura speak, Nozomi had whipped around to face her friend. "Are you offering a sort of job?" the panther primal had asked. The canine primal's eyes traveled back and forth between the newcomer and her new friend. Job? Then it clicked. Mercenary. Itagura wanted work... which meant that, according to the deal, Nozomi would be helping. Feelings swelled inside. Anxiety. Joy. Uncertainty. Determination. Nozomi quirked her puppy ears, listening harder to the conversation now. |

Kila tossed her head to the side, her lengthy braid whipping slightly toward her left, they wanted to talk, good. She clicked her tongue to snap Bachi out of his defensive stupor. The ferret lifted his head suddenly at the noise and released the grip of his uncut claws, thin trails of blood slid down Kila's arm, though she took no note of it. "Yes...a job, since you're interested I'll go on and give a little proposition for you. There is a subject that I require in captivity and in my presence by sunrise tomorrow. I believe you know who I speak of, her scent is around here, on these...bodies. She is essential to me, I will pay well, half before the job and half when you bring her to me." Bachi raised himself on his haunches in inhaled deeply, Kila fell silent for a while, her gaze fixed on the small mammal. "If you hurry you could catch her before the moon hits its peak. I would prefer her alive, but if you can't help it..." She let the others finish her thoughts, "I'll pay you a total of four hundred pounds for her, two hundred before and two hundred after you bring her to me." Kila allowed her gaze to wander from face to face, "Four hundred for the one that brings me the subject that is. What do you say?" She smiled in spite of her racing heart. She'd have to pay them all before hand, but if they completed their jobs she'd just capture them after, even if they didn't complete the task, she'd be dead anyway. *I didn't know what kind of currency to use so I just used pounds since that's double American money (400 lbs=800 bucks)* |

*lol it doesn't matter, money is money to a mercenary* An interesting little situation… Though Itagura truly didn't want to get anymore involved with what had happen today, it seemed she couldn't break away from it too easily. But, there was handsome sum if she continued to get involved. Who was she to refuse such an offer? She needed it knowing the current condition of her wallet. And hearing that it seemed that this region used pounds she definitely would need it now. Though the Primal’s mind seemed more then willing to accept, she remained stiff and quiet. There was still the matter of this girl's target; would she be able to complete the task? Her ears flicked as she remembered Nozomi, she turned her head slightly looking back on the canine girl. This would be her first job as a Mercenary and it may be risky. "...Would you care to give a bit more information on your 'subject'? Anything vital that should be known?" She asked, her eyes back on Kila. She would have probably been on her way if this was a ‘normal’ kind of job, but she wanted more to go on. |
