"Well," she started and then abruptly stopped moving and then turned a different direction. Though she wasn't trying to get away from or anything as her sights were on the bench, one that was in better shape then the last on she was on earlier this morning. The wood still strong and brighter in color and didn’t creak when she sat down. She sat down and crossed her legs; if she had to answer questions then she thought she would have to sit down. Normally, she would have blown off anyone else who would have asked so many questions. She would have long jumped off to an unreachable height or hide herself until the person gave up. But Nozomi was different; she was a creature that didn't exactly know her place or what else was out there. And she would hate to have something terrible on her conscious just because she left her alone without answering questions that could help her. "Alot of things can be dangerous if they really wanted to be. A human can be dangerous." She closed her eyes and leaned forwards in her seat, resting her chin in the palm of her hand while her arm was propped up on her knee. "I'm not sure where you would want me to start.. But to answer your other question, if you mean other Panther Primals then yes. I've seen other ones before besides my family." |

Nozomi stared at the bench for a second before taking a seat on the ground, leaning back on her hands. No offense to the bench, but the ground didn't give anyone a butt-ache and was much more spacious. But that aside, it was hard to imagine that humans... her old friends... that they could be dangerous to her. She had grown up with them. Helped them. Cared about them. It was too hard to imagine them any other way. Nozomi looked up at Itagura, tilting her head as if confused. "What do you mean that humans can be dangerous?" she inquired. |

Itagura's ears flicked and she opened her eyes half way to look to Nozomi on the ground, a sort of bored look on her face almost. But she was far from bored, answering these questions began to interest her, whether it just gave her something to do or it was something else it didn't matter. "Just what I mean.. Humans are the least mature of races." she said, though she had nothing against them personally, it was a fact really. "When they don't understand something, when it's too different from what they are used too they become fearful and channel that fear into anger. They both shun what is different and refuse its real or they become violent and make sure it never existed." She said simply, and leaned back in her seat, her back against the bench. "But of course," she said after a slight pause, her eyes staring off in a completely different direction, like she had found something else but hadn’t forgotten the canine girl. Her eyes always drifted.. They never stayed locked on one thing for too long. "I’m not saying to never trust a human; everyone thinks differently when it comes to different things. And in this time of the world normally creatures of all sorts are okay. Mostly, anyways." She couldn’t help but add. |

Underneath her hat, Nozomi's ears twitched and she couldn't help but scratch them. But the problem with that: her tail started to thump insistantly and playfully. Nozomi could feel Itagura's eyes on her tail, so she stopped scratching. It was so weird. In the past few moments talking to her, Nozomi had learned so much. Who she was. What she was. It was almost relieving to know she wasn't a freak somewhere. Abandoning the hat and tucking it into the side of her lopsided belt, she scratched her ears openly. "Hey... do you think I could travel with you?" |

That question drew Itagura's emeralds back down to Nozomi.. She had a feeling she would ask that question sooner or later. She stared for a long time, the tip of her panther tail twitched and flicked and occasionally thump against the wood of the bench. How it would be so easy to tell the girl no and be on her way and probably still be able to sleep at night and eventually pretend that she had never seen her. How easy that could be... She watched as the hat found itself without a need anymore and now was living as an accessory for Nozomi's belt. She was starting to open up more.. She hadn't done a good thing for anyone in so long, that is without hurting someone else. How funny this situation was, she never seemed to get her way. She smirked at her, crossing her arms now. "That all depends; you won't get in my way now, will you?" Her tone seemed to have some character in it, sounding less unfeeling and cool, more on the friendly side. *Oh this will be even more fun* |

Nozomi had to blink a few a times, her ears not believeing. This was it! She could finally... belong! A grin spread it's way across her lips in an almost child-like way. The companionship. The friendship. How long it had been since she had felt that. Nozomi jumped up, her fluffy tail swishing happily. "NO!" she proclaimed. "I won't get in the way; I promise!" she rambled, overjoyed. Her ears perked up and her tail continued to swish. Who knew a normal morning, with a normal morning sun, would bring this UNusual turn of events? *Yes! This ish so much fun! ^.^* |

She closed her eyes once more, keeping that smirk. How Nozomi reacted, it was a little more then she thought she would. She actually wasn't thinking of such a loud response, but all the same she was enjoying the fact that she made someone happy. "Good." she said putting her hands on her knees and opened her eyes again. "Then you should do just fine with me." she said. This she thought as a good thing, although Itagura herself wasn't crazy about the thought of company she thought it would be good for the canine girl. She would be able to learn more things and not feel so unwanted and end up picking up the wrong things about the world. "I plan on leaving this town in a little while. So keep yourself ready." |

* think that I can't leave you all alone for a few hours without coming back to this...* Kage flew soundlessly among the treetop as he tries to gather his many thoughts. 'Man, this is really boring...I know. I'll turn back and follow those two animans, just to ge a good show. I bet that panther one is really getting annoyed right now.' Pleased with hs decision, Kage turned around and started back towards town. As he flew over the forest, he noticed a girl who seemed vaguely familiar walking below. 'Oh yeah, I think she was the one that was in the building I was on...listen to myself. All these years of solitude and now I meet three completely different people, on the day. All women on topof that! Something bad HAS tobe getting ready to happen, that's the only reason for me to meet anyone.' Caught up in his thoughts, Kage barely noted that the girl was surrounded by at least seven other people. Emphasis on barely. He immediately found a sturdy branch and landed on it, directly above the scene. 'Let's see what she does.' * I may or may not post tomorrow. I've been inspired by this RPG and am considering making a story out of my character. Thank you Redfur and all who join this for giving me something to do.* |

Nozomi couldn't contain her grin. This was what she'd been searching, waiting for! She noticed the friendly smirk that remained on Itagura's face. Just by talking to her, Itagura was already opening up slightly. Somehow Nozomi just had a feeling that her heart had been closed off for a while. Nozomi could help this girl, just as much as she was helping her. Continued to smile as she heard Itagura's words. "I'm ready to go whenever you are!" she told her. It was true. There was nothing else she had to bring besides herself on this journey. *Ha ha, Kage-kun! You just can't leave me and Red-chan alone for a coupla hours! XD* |

*Kage...Red-dono ish a girl..XD* Koneko decided to fight, rather than run. She was already running from the war in the North, and if she decided to return to the town, surely these humans would follow and possibly make a mess of things. Deciding that a diplomatic approach to her situation would be best, Koneko closed the distance between her and her possible attackers. Stopping a good 20 feet away, she called out in a loud, clear voice that she knew would be heard. "Do you wish to converse with me? Hiding there, so close, you would almost think you intended me harm..." She knew that these weren't exactly the words that would keep her from trouble, but she could think of nothing better to say so quickly. No response came from the trees in front of her. Koneko sighed. Why did people always want injuries? Why did they have to learn the hard way? Something metallic shot out from the bushes in front of her and Koneko quickly twisted to the side. In the same fluid movement, she calmly reached up at the tie of her cloak and released the knot that kept it on her shoulders. It slid to the ground, and she paid no notice to it as she moved forward, closing the distance between her and those who attempted to kill her. "I was hoping to resolve this with peace, but I can see that none of you share my intentions. Do not tell you I did not warn you." Koneko snapped, her voice not sharing her calm nature. Another arrow flew towards her and this time, Koneko did not dodge. Instead, she unsheathed her left-handed sword and blocked the projectile with the flat of her blade. She narrowed her eyes as splinters flew past her, although none hit their original mark. This was going to be quick, if she could reach them, that is. They were amateur, at best. What Koneko did not notice, however, was her eyes. They had changed from the icy gray of her anger to the glowing yellow of her were-cat nature. Which did not bode well for her attackers, nor herself. *I think I wrote that nicely...[admires her work by re-reading] ...XD* |

It's true! Me is a girl lol I’ve been found it*She nodded after a little pause but didn't move from her seat. She would get up and start moving when she was ready. There were probably some things still needed to be done before she decided to go on. Her smirk slowly faded until there was nothing more then a slight pull at the corner of her lip to show a small and simple smile. She brushed some out of place strands of hair from her face as she seemed to be thinking of something and looked in another direction. "Can you fight?" she asked suddenly, her eyes still elsewhere as she remained relaxed in her seat. "If you plan on staying with me, you have to know how to fight." |

*GASP! Red-chan has been found out!
XD Please excuse Kage-kun: he's slow to recognize the opposite gender.* Nozomi stood there, frozen. That she had not been expecting. Thinking, her tail lost it's playful swish to lull into a thoughtful swing. Trying to busy herself as she thought, Nozomi started to pull her chestnut hair back into a messy bun. "Can I fight?" Nozomi repeated, as if clarifying the question. Thinking back, there had been times when she had had to defend herself from others. But she had never severely hurt anyone. But, why would she need to be able to fight? "I can at least hold my own in a fight," she answered, choosing her words carefully. *Ramune ish good when cold.... XD* ----Neko Edit---- Ramine to Ramune |

*It's okay* The Primal remained quiet for a moment or two, thinking over what the canine-girl said and then casually shrugged her shoulders. "That will do." she said and looked towards the sky after letting out a long sigh. The sun was higher now and it was less chilly out and she could hear more people emerging from their homes. "I was wondering because I fight... It's my career if you would like to say that." she said, looking back down to Nozomi and scratched behind one of her panther ears. "I'm a mercenary." Itagura stated simply. |

Nozomi soaked in the information, a grin still on her face. However her thoughts were screaming in her head. Mercenary? If she remembered correctly from school, wasn't a mercenary someone who was hired to kill people? Or was that an assasin? Her tail stopped swishing momentarily. Oh well. It didn't matter at this point. Nozomi had finally found someone to take her in. Besides, if Itagura was really a killer, it would've been too late for her anyway. Just being seen with her would've convicted her. Might as well just push the envelope. Nozomi continued to grin, a sparkle in her chestnut eyes. "Really? That sounds cool!" |

She shrugged her shoulders, her eyes on the hard ground now. She didn't find being a mercenary all that exciting. She just took up the profession to be able to pay for survival. It also allowed her to test her skills as a fighter and of course constantly gave her the chance to travel more across the world. That was all she really wanted to do in life. Mainly she didn't take up many jobs that required killing someone, though she has been described as ruthless when she took up a job. She looked to Nozomi. She looked like she could handle herself if she got into a street scrap.. but what about merciless killers? She supposed she could just teach her some things. "Well then, I guess you'll be a mercenary with me then." she said tilting her head to the side slightly. "I can teach you some stuff.." |
