*Ok, I guess I'll post now.* Kage sighed and rolled his eyes. "Ok, first of all, calm yourself. I never would've snuck oon you if I had known you would've reacted like that. Geez, act more like your on a mission. Oh, and the name's Kage." He snapped his head up and saw bothe sides charging at each other. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a battle to stop." Kage stood and quickly unfolded his wings. He launched himself straight up and flew towards the battlefield. He landed between the kneeling cycat and the vampire. "Alright, hold up everyone." He looked at the cycat. "I know you don't want to fight for your own reasons." He turned his head and looked at the group. "And I know most of you don't want to fight for various reasons. So, why don't we end this tension, and let this slide." He fully turned towards the group. "Oh yeah, most of you were hired correct? So, I guess you'll want your payment." He reached behind his back and pulled out several bags of money. He threw them at each person. "Here you go, courtesy your employer." He unfolded his wings again. "Now, if you'll all excuse me, I'm bored. Later, and no fighting, ok?" He took off and flew towards deep into the forest before backtracking to the top of a large tree. "Now then, let's see the reactions." *Ok, I feel accomplished now. Next!* |

*...damn...I don't check for 24 hours and this is what it comes to? XD* Koneko blinked in surprise as the winged-man by the name of Kage flew off. He didn't fly far, but sat near the edge of her senses. She guessed he was a being of neutrality. Never picking sides, simply observing and giving their own input here and there. Quickly, she returned her attention to the one she stood in submission for. Koneko had not moved, but she needed to focus on the scales that weighed her life. |

*Wow, I wan't expecting that....* Yume stood in shock. She held the bag of money in her hands. She looked at everyone, and to their 'boss' in the bushes. She then looked around for the bird boy. Her eyes then fell again to her sack of money. She sighed, knowing exactly what she wanted to do. She took out two stacks of the money from the bag, then dropped it to the ground. Stashing the money in a small bag she walked right past the 'target' then sped off into the distence. She had better things to do then deal with all the drama. And so she started off, back on her original journy, leaving behind the mess that was half her fault. |

Kila had watched the scene wide-eyed, gasping when the rather rude man with wings pressed bags of money into the hands of the ones she had hired. Swearing rapidly in her mind, Kila fixated her misty orbs on the target, or rather, her chance at life. "I..." She faltered, her expression cracked into a frown, "What sort of deal would you settle with me?" Her voice neared hysteria, night had long since settled deep within the clearing. "You have no idea as to what sort of situation I'm in, I doubt that you could offer very much to me other than your capture." Kila stared at the figure of the girl, Yume as she left the area, money in bag, her own mission in her mind. Bachi stirred on Kila's shoulder and tensed, hissing urgently into her mind, They're coming, my sensors estimate them to be about 18 clicks away. Warn them. "What? No!" The teenager howled aloud, not caring that the others hadn't heard Bachi's words, "We're all dead, I suggest you all run and save your own skin, unless you wish to be captured." Kila took a step back from the were-cat and closed her eyes, as though wishing away the circumstances. |

*...good...action time!* Koneko's mind whirled. The deal she had to make? They were all dead? Her mind ignored the newest shift of plans. "The deal I have to make is very simple. Putting it in simple terms, I'm giving you my sword and the life that goes with it. I'm hoping you avoid the routes that would end in my death, but it's all up to you. If you choose to allow me to live another day, I'll be sure that no harm will ever befall you." Koneko prayed that the senseless girl before her could properly process the weight of everything she had just said and waited patiently as scales rocked back and forth. |

Itagura had face of disbelief with a mix of irritation on her face as she tried to make sense of the happenings at the moment. Uncertain because she was being paid her promised money by the winged man that had no part in this and slightly irritated because of the fact he interfered.. And Yume had ran away with the money.. Abandoning them.. Even though she didn't care much for the girl she was still slightly stunned that she took off without hesitation. She looked at the bag of money in her hands, unsure if she was to just drop it and continue.. Or accept it and leave like Yume. She had never come across this sort of situation before. She turned her head when she heard Kila telling them to run to 'save their skins' or be captured... She narrowed her eyes a bit, while her ears turned in the direction of Koneko when she spoke.. But she wasn't concerned with what she said; she was more with Kila's words. "Wait a moment!" She raised her voice. "What do you mean captured, by who?!" She had a right to demand answers.. Kila obviously didn't tell them something important they needed to know... |

The whole scene seemed very odd to Nozomi. One minute her and Yume are arguing, another minute she was trying to fight... whatever the heck it was, another minute the winged dude was paying them randomly, and the last minute Kila's yelling something about them being captured. Wait. CAPTURED?! The words finally clicked in Nozomi's mind. "CAPTURED? CAPTURED?!" she shrieked. This day had already been weird enough and now she might get captured. By who? She wouldn't find out. For what? . . . Nozomi didn't even want to entertain the thought. Forgetting all about the strange thing she had just tried to attack, the puppy-teen sprinted over to Itagura. "What do we do?" she continued to spaz out, hanging onto her own puppy ears. Her golden tail had ceased to swish and was cringing. |

Yume continued her journy. She had no obligation to stay. She had agreed to such a strange and very un-detaild mission, to see if she could strngthin herslef. Obviously too much was happening. Yume didn't care for really any of them. It was best not to get involved with others. Yume looked at her hands. She could still smell blood on her hands, and clothes. 'It is night.' she sighed. She looked at the large river she had been following for days, and once again now. She didn't know whether she was too full of energy or if she wanted to get some rest. Finally she decided to make a small camp on the otherside of the river, and take a dip in the water. *not that I'm part of much, but i posted any ways* |

Kila recoiled from the shocked cries of the others around her, and from the cyborg were-cat's offer. "Well...I'm not as unimportant of a human as one would think..." She murmered, ignoring Bachi's constant updates of the eternally shrinking space between the military and the small group. "In short I had planned on using you all as research to save my own life from this crazed military that I work for. A disgusting decision but a necessary one, I don't want to die." Kila ended her sentence in a pleading tone. "But they're practically here, even if you ran as fast as you could...they'd catch you..." Kila covered her face with her open palm, fighting back tears of defeat. "Even if we all teamed up against the armada of WarChoppers that they're bringing I'm not sure if we would win, and I would know, I designed the WC's." *The enemy is coming! Is it time for a good fight...? Maybe, maybe not! XD* |

*Well then, this had turned interesting again. My turn* From his perch, Kage listened to the ferret girl's words. He looked up and scanned the skies, and after a few moments, he heard a powerful current heading their way. 'Hmm, looks like she's telling the truth'. He stood on his branch and left down, landing in the middle of the group. "Well now, this is a strange turn of events. I thought you all would have had the sense to take off like that vampire girl after getting your payments. Maybe mercenaries have changed since my day." Kage pulled out his trusted staff and reached into the bag on his back. He took out a large book and placed it in a pocket on his side. "Alright, I'm all set. I don't care what any of you say, I'm gonna help you guys beat these things. Nothing is unbeatable, I should know that. And it's boring to watch people get captured anyways." *Boredness had crept into my brain, so next person!* |

*finally, this RP is GOING somewhere...XD...I've been trying to get Sora to join in since he made a profile, but he's like, I'm not reading 11 pages. XD* Koneko wasn't for getting captured. Not after growing up in a cell, taken out only to learn the ways of weaponry and how to master their skill-requiring art. Koneko thought out her words, before voicing them calmly and firmly. "Perhaps I could be of assistance? Under my own reform, I'd prefer not to take lives, but all I would need are your words for a guide and they'll be out in seconds." |

*Funny, that's what I said when this was 7 pages. Sora, you better ge off your lazy butt and join this.* Kage heard the cycat's words and breathed a small sigh of relief. 'Well, at least one of them will help me'. He turned to face her. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I've been in enough fights to know all different kinds of people. In this fight, if you don't kill them now, they're gonna come back in greater numbers. I don't want to kill anyone either, but we can't hold back anything when going up against these people, you got that? Just do what comes naturally, and maybe you'll live. That goes for all of you." *Bored, and out of ideas. Next person!* |

Itagura stood a brief awe when Kila revealed what she really had intentioned for them and slowly her expression found the perfect emotion to reflect, she formed a grimace, as an dangerous internal temper was beginning to grow and break through the surface. It was different then her normal nonchalant, ‘almost bored with life’ expression. She even started to bare her inhuman panther teeth a little. What deceit! What treachery! She knew she should have refused that job offer, but she didn’t obey her instincts. And because of that, they would have to pay for it. When Nozomi ran to her, the Primal’s expression cooled a bit but she was at a loss for the first time. If they couldn’t get away like Kila said then what could she say to her? Her gaze remained on the canine girl for a moment but she said nothing, closing her eyes and turned her head in the opposite direction, her action said enough that they wouldn’t be able to get out this easily.. if not at all. Yet, she didn’t like thinking like that even if it was true and she didn’t want to frighten or worry Nozomi. "We just… Do what we can." She answered; though it may not have been the best choice of words at least she said something instead of having her stress over her silence. She listened and watched as she heard Kage offered to help, and even the Cyborg cat that was their enemy only a few moments ago. Her ears perked as she heard the propellers of the WarChoppers, alert and looking up to the sky and quickly turned to Nozomi again. "Listen, do not hold back, and give it all you have." She said more encouraging words. |

*Alright, I took the first small step, now it's time to make a leap...check the character boards to discover who this new character is.* Told from Kyne's POV I could sense the wind moving quickly about my profile as I gripped the side of the WarChopper in a grip strong enough to break bones. I bet the metal was freezing cold beneath my fingers, but I wouldn't know. I didn't really care now either. She was down there. That was all I wanted. Her life would soon be mine. "Bring down the WC to an elevation of 1500 feet, shoot once we reach the edge of the river. Kill them at all costs, leave me the girl and her ferret though." I spoke quietly to one of the men dressed in the black war uniform, my voice slicing through the roaring winds to his microphone. I witnessed the plane move suddenly, the blades groaned in response to the sudden drop in altitude. I tugged a sniper rifle out of my holster slung across my back, I had pre-assembled it despite the obvious threat of harm to the gun. I propped it up on the floor of the WarChopper, listening as rows of machine guns unfolded from the sides, I peered through the scope and took deadly aim at the one who stood poised before her. I wanted her to taste as much blood as I had during my experiments. I wanted her to suffer. Back to normal POV They're Here. "No time for an explanation, it's either fight or die." |

*Oh Kami...this'll be interesting...in fact, interesting to the point of excitement...(tries to refrain from bouncing in her seat)* Koneko felt every muscle in her body tense. She could sense him. A rival in the art of killing. Kayn. Or Krow, on the field. This was NOT going to end well. The steady thrumming of the WarChoppers sent chills down Koneko's spine. How many were there? She couldn't tell, exactly. Their rotating blades caused echo's that distorted that perceptional sense that would make or break this battle. She could accurately guess that they ranged from 1-3, but that didn't exactly help. And then she heard the chinking rattle as the machine guns she knew were there fell into place. Her eyes widened in horror. "Get OUT of here! They're going to begin lighting the f-ing place UP!" Koneko shouted, her voice far more commanding than she felt. She lunged, grabbed the braid-girl and hide in the deep undergrowth. |
