Her body like a rag doll, she laid there, lifeless eyes staring blankly at the wall. A pool of blood was beginning to form around her mid-section. The killer, with a grin of delight on his face, tilted the girls head back and gently kissed her lips. It’s strange, he thought, how he preferred the lips of a lifeless girl to that of a living woman. Standing back up, he glanced around the bedroom; a chest overflowing with stuffed animals, a closest packed with clothing, posters of young men from bands he had never heard of plastered on the walls. Yes, it was the room of a nine year-old and yet, not the room of this young girl. Glancing at her face, he guessed that she was no older than six. “Dammit,” he thought, “where’s the girl I was sen-” he had heard a voice from the hallway. “Sarah? Sarah you ok?” The door opened and a young girl walked in. “I heard you scream and-”, the girl stopped talking as she stared at the lifeless body of her cousin lying on the ground. “What…?” She looked up and saw the killer hovering over the body. Instinctively, she opened her mouth to scream but was cut off as the killer grabbed her throat and pinned her to the wall. Eyes wide, she tried to break free but could not move as the killer leaned in and whispered in her ear, “You’re father has wronged and now you shall pay the price. Nothing personal.”, and rammed the knife into her stomach. As he released her, she sank to her knees, eyes wide and fearful; blood starting to soak through her shirt, staining it dark red. The girl tried to remove the knife but her strength was escaping her. Just as she was about to try again, her eyes glazed over and she fell onto her side, a lifeless corpse. Grinning, the killer gently picked up the body and laid it across from the other girl’s. “Now,” the killer thought, as he proceeded to delicately remove both girls’ clothing, “time for my reward.”
