If you can read this, the song is A Little Peace of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold. A WARNING, the video is very graphic.

Every day someone buys that special loved one a diamond necklace, bracelet, earings, ring, whatever keeps their loved one satesfied, for the next year or so. What people don't see is that encrusted upon that glittering stone is layers of bloodshed, sweat, and tears. The United States purchases approximately 2/3 of diamonds from foreign nations, expecially Africa. Blood Diamond takes place in recent times when a man, a father, a husband, and a fisher, was torn from his family and his home. He was taken to a camp, where he and many others were forced to sift through mud and dirt to find that perfect jewel to accentuate your evening gown. The man next to him tried to hide his find in his teeth, and was shot in the head by a child old enough to be your 8 year old brother. The F.U.E., or the rebels were composed of bloodthirsty men and children, taught to shoot and kill, taught to be men before they even learned what love was. Now the man's only hope is the jewel that he managed to bury from the greedy eyes of men, but is it enough to keep him alive? Is it enough to get his family back? Rated "R" for blood, drug use, and profuse language (all mainly caused by 8-10 year old boys) I give this movie a 5/5, everyone should go see it. |

My God. I don't wanna say it, but this movie sounds horribly heart-breaking. |

That's the beauty of it! It's already out on DVD video! That's why I'm saying that everyone should go see it, and yes, it is increadably sad but meaningful at the same time. |

I watched this about 2 weeks ago Via On Demand and liked it actually. However, my favorite character turned out to be Danny Archer. I didn't find the movie all that sad or moving like most people seem to and felt it needed more gun fights but the movie was worth the watch regardless. |
