Name: Aku Rurumi "Rumi"

Age: 16 (How come Neko and I are the only ones in our late teens on this RPG?)

Gender: Female

Description: Semi-tall African-American, long dark brown hair with crimson red streaks running through it that she keeps in a ponytail that hangs over her left shoulder, except for a tuft of hair that's always hanging in her right eye, brown eyes that change color to match her mood, a black choker with the yin-yang sign on it that she NEVER takes off, a purple tank top, purple arm cuffs that reach from her biceps to the middle of her forearms, black fingerless gloves, black jeans, and wooden shoes with purple straps on them. Carries a bunch of cherry blossom-shaped shuriken and a pair of sai wherever she goes.

Personality: Normally keeps to hersef, quiet. Is trying to outlive her father's shadow, the most feared, powerful and brutal demon in the land. Can have quite a nasty temper, so it'd be wise to keep your distance.

*Okay, who's the brave volunteer that wants to actually start the RPG? :P *

*Names should be the original Japanese style (family "last" name and Given "first" name) and I dunno Saku...maybe we imagine ourselves older, or we're better at assuming other roles? Plus I edited my profile with more detail....I originally did this due to boredom so I went back...*

Hikari balanced on the balls of her feet. She quickly glanced around, then held up 4 fingers behind her back, signalling the small group behind her. Then she balled her hand into a fist, tapped her back soundlessly, and drew her index finger along the small of her back.
Suddenly, she leapt up and hurdled downward through the trees, and down a small wooded hill.
One of the 4 guards that protected her target was in her sights. He didn't even have time to turn around at the sound of her muted footsteps. She unsheathed both of her katanas and swung them across in a parallel sweeping movement that left bloody trails through the air.
Hikari continued, running past the shocked guards and hurdled into the carriage. An old, stuck-up looking man screamed at the sight of her. He scrambled for the door, but Hikari lopped off his head before he could even touch the handle. Blood sprayed from his neck, like a bottle of shaken up soda when someone opens it.
Hikari pulled out a cloth bag and put the man's head inside.
Running out of the carrige she yelled, "The job is done!"
She quickly called down a bolt of lightning to cover their escape. Only one bleeding guard had remained, but being an assassain with 3 years of experience said that you could never be to careful, especially with injured people. They tended to come back with a bit of a vengence.
"We should return to the village now, Raisakoto-sama." One of her team suggested as they sped through the trees.
"That would be best. We can bring the client there prize after a rest." Hikari responded with an easy diplomacy.

*you might like to put your last name first, but im going with first name then last name*

Kage just sat there on the oak tree thinking. "Until i get my next assignment, it' going to be sooooo boring..." Just then he spotted a flash of lightning(sp?) not too far away. "alright that was fast. They finally have my next assignment." he said out loud standing.
Kage then picked up his weapons and jumped down from the tree. "First lets see who they sent to give me my mission." He started twirling his dual-sided spear in a clockwise motion, and stared at a puddle of water. " Cruf sa dra uha fru pnehkc so yccekhsahd!" The puddle shook for a moment before it showed a strange girl with a weird type of blade. "I wonder who that could be. Oh well, she must be new or something." Still twirling his blade, Kage broke the spell he casts and concentrated once more. " Dyga sa du dra uha fru pnehkc so yccekhsahd!" The water rose from the erth and twisted into the shape of a hoverboard. "I love this spell" he thought joyfully. Kage jumped into the water and raced toward the girl, hoping she had his next assinment.

*ok, i think i might have to put up a translator so you can understnad he his spells are. What do you think?*

**im putting up a translator now, but i might change the code to something different later. Check out this site for the translator. http://albhed.netfirms.com **

Hikari walked down the village's main road, a small dusty trail following her path.
'It hasn't rained in almost a month', Hikari realized with slight awe. She had been so busy she hadn't even really noticed the weather. She could have hit herself. Not realizing details like this could end up getting her killed.
With a sigh, she walked up to the main building for assassination jobs. A sudden wave of exhaustion slammed into her.
Groaning, she entered the building. She just had to give her report and recieve her pay, then she could finally go home and sleep.
She rapped on the official's door. Hearing a muffled, "You may enter", she opened the door silently. She walked to the center of the room and bowed to the older man.
"Good news, I hope". The man said in his normal icy voice, which never displayed any emotion of any kind.
"I believe it is." Hikari replied as she handed him the files that she had completed on a rest stop earlier and briefly went over how smoothly the mission had gone.
"Excellent. You may leave." The man said and waved his hand as if to shoo Hikari from the room.
Once Hikari had left the building, she exhaled hard. She HATED giving reports to that man. His name was Momiya Ashisuke. He was 46, cold, and he treated everyone like they only ever got in his way.
She walked up to her apartment building and inserted her keycard into the slot so the building's door would open. Upon entering, she walked straight to the stairwell. Her building was 5 stories high and she was on the 5th story.
Hiking up 5 stories after a long, hard day isn't most people's idea of fun, but Hikari's building only let the elderly, disabled or pregnant women use one of the 2 elevators. She fully understood why. Healthy people would only get lazy if they used the elevator all the time.
When she reached her floor, she started down the long hallway. She glanced down it's length to the place where it twisted away out of sight. Trudging down the hall, she forced herself to be aware or her surroundings. Sometimes Momiya-sama decided that some people weren't alert enough during there reports and he sent some of his men to "attack" them so they would learn the lesson. It had never happened to Hikari, and she wanted it to stay that way.
She stopped at her apartment door, room number 578. She slid in her keycard and opened the door. A breeze of cool air encased her as she walked into her apartment. It had 4 rooms. A family room, with a desk, TV, and couch. A kitchen, with normal kitchen items, like tableware, a fridge, a stove, a dish washer and a table with 3 chairs. A bathroom with the norm. And a bedroom with a bed, dresser, weapon cabnet, and 4 animal beds. Hikari's apartment also had a small balcony with a large awning over it.
Hikari's pets ran to greet her one at a time. A small black dog with floppy ears, a white speckled muzzle and dark brown flanks hurdled for her legs. It looked up at her with dark brown eyes.
"Hello Kuroi. Why the small shape?" Hikari asked, curious at why her 5' wolf had shrunk. The dog-wolf tilted her head to the side, trying to play the dumb dog.
"Okay then, I'll play along for now." Hikari said with a laugh, as a cat trotted over with his tail held high. He looked like a Siamese and a tabby cross. His light Siamese color covered by dark tips. White tipped hairs showed up in stripe patterns along his body, head, and tail. White tiger-like stripes covered his legs and belly. His light blue, slightly crossed eyes gazed up at Hikari hungrily.
"I'll feed you later Sekiei." She scolded Sekiei gently. He responded by walking over to the couch, his shoulders hunched down.
A yellow cat walked up next. Her yellow, orange and white fur striking against the deep brown wood of the floor. Her yellow and orange fur was like a cloak. It was only on her back, tail and the top of her head. Her pure white fur was on her belly, paws, legs, tail, neck and in 3 splotches around her nose. She headed butted my hand, wanting me to scratch her ears.
"Hi Kiiro." Hikari murmured to the yellow calico. She purred in response. While Hikari knelt next to Kiiro, another cat walked up. This cat looked her age of 11. Her coat was in a similar format to Kiiro's except her coat colors were tan-orange, blue-gray and white.
"Hello Mari...are you feeling okay?" Hikari asked the new cat as if she expected it to talk back. The quiet, high voice echoed in Hikari's head, 'Yes, I'm just starting to feel my age.'.
"If you want anything, let me know, okay?" Hikari told Mari firmly as she stood up to fix herself and her pets dinner.

*Now that i'm done revising my stuff i will now continue the story.*

Kage continued to ride the water up to a tall, odd looking building. He jumped off the water and realeased the spell. He then scooped up the water and put it in a pouch for later. Kage walked slowly to the building and studied it carefully. To him, the building seemed especially odd since he had been living in the tree for soooo long.

"Looks like i'll have to find her in this building. luckily(sp?) i learn how to cast the fire flare spell a week ago." Kage said to himself.
He held his staff high in the air and concentrated hard on the spell. " E cissuh dra bufan uv vena du caht y saccyka du so ymmeac! Vmyna Vunla Vena!"
The end of his staff glowed a bright red and started to send out small sparks. Then it immediately shot up countless fireworks around the building, exploding inches from the building walls. Once the fireworks stopped their rampage, swarms of people began quickly exiting the building. They all were carrying an odd looking metal weapon Kage had never seen before.

"Hey! You trying to burn the place or something!?!?" one of them shouted at him. "No i was just trying to-" "You were trying to blow the place up thats what you were doing!" another person interrupted. "Lets show this guy what happens when you try to take us on!" A third person shouted in the crowd.

Suddenly they all rushed him at once, but Kage was ready for it. " Vena, creamt sa vnus ryns!" A flash of light from his staff ingulfed him in a dome of fire and launched anyone in it far into the distance. "Wh-what was that!" yelled one of the attackers. " This guy is weird!! I say we run!!" said a second voice already running away.

A few minutes later they all ran far into the forest. " If that was my mission, then they must be lacking in employees of something." Kage thought while looking around. He walked into the biulding and scanned for anyone more of those weird people. He turned the corner and walked up the steps . He continued down another hallway and heard someone talking in one of the rooms. Kage quietly walked to the door and listened. He didnt hear much. " i feel a weird power in this room. Maybe its the room of that girl who was supposed to give me my assignment." Kage thought for a moment," i could just blow the door down, but i might alert more people if there are any left in here." Kage stepped back a lifted his spear and pointed it at the door. " Ihmulg dra tuun!" the doorknob started to move and the keypad flashed to green. "Let's find out what my mission really is."

*You have done well Kage-san. take a break...and as for a Ms. Aku and a Ms. Minakotsa...they need to write up some stuff <_< Kage and I are doing all the RPGing*

After a dinner of teriaki(sp?) ramen, Hikari trudged over to her room and flopped down onto her bed. In the very distance, she heard the sound of explosions, but was to fatigued to check it out.
Forcing herself to get up, she changed into her night clothes which consisted of a baggy black t-shirt and a pair of shorts. Returning to her bed, collasped into a peaceful, dreamless sleep.

"Father, I don't understand! Those demons were our friends and most trusted allies! Why would you attack them??" A young child questioned her father, panicked black eyes staring down at the bloodied corpse of her best friend from another demon tribe. Her father stood before her, his back turned to her, as he was eliminating the last of the demon tribe that he once called "friends."

"When you have enough power to protect yourself all the time, there's no need for allies." The beast of a man growled, kicking away bodies that were staining his feet with the blood they were leaking. "Learn this well, child, and you'll be as successful as me." The young girl shook with rage, her eyes turning a violent shade of red.

"I never want to be like you!" She screamed. "All you do is sleep around with other women just to get them pregnant, searching for this 'Ultimate Heir' of yours! There were plenty other bastard children born of your other whores! Why does it have to be me?!"

The man-shaped demon turned around to the girl, who was shaking from anger and fear, and slapped her sharply across the face, making her fall back. Her cheek started to throb painfully, but the demon showed no mercy and picked the child up by the scruff of her neck, practically choking her.

"Regardless of whether I am married to you mother or not, I am STILL your father, and you will NOT speak to me that way..." The powerful demon hissed, his face so close that the young girl got a close-up on his razor sharp canines. "And the Ultimate Heir IS you...you are the child with the most potential..." And with that, he ripped the black yin-yang choker off of the girl's neck.

The girl's eyes became completely red, and she screamed as fireballs shot uncontrollably out of her hands and cremated the bodies of the ones she once knew and loved...

A teenage dark-skinned girl suddenly sat up from her bed, panting and sweating heavily, as if she had just ran a marathon in her sleep. Once she had settled down, she placed her head in her hands, replaying the dream over and over in her head.

'That damned dream...why won't it leave me alone?' She thought silently to herself, subconsiously fingering the yin-yang choker around her neck, making sure it was still there.

She left her bedroom and walked into her bathroom, running the water in the sink and splashing her face with water. She stared at the liquid running through her hands, and imagined it was blood. She clenched her hands, rage building inside her for what that man did that day. The 16-year-old looked up into the mirror and noticed her eyes were red. She blinked and shook her head, making them return to their natural color: Brown.

The teen left her bathroom and gazed out her window. There was a full moon out tonight.

'I think I'll go out for a walk.' The 16-year-old thought to herself, throwing on her usual attire and stepping out of the door, walking into the street of the small village she resided in. Her neighbors, the ones who liked to drink themselves silly on the wekends, were having a drunken party. One of the more sober ones called out to the 16-year-old.

"Hey Rurumi! Where ya goin at this time of night?" He asked, his words only slightly slurring. Rurumi stared at him, no expression readable on her face. Finally, he decided to go back inside, and Rurumi continued to walk on.

As she strode into the forest, she saw a flash of lightning not to far away. Then she saw a figure race off on what looked like a hoverboard to her.

'...What was that about?' Her mind questioned.

*Next!*

*YAY! Someone else wrote! I'm so happy...but that was kinda creepy...what she said to her dad  *

Hikari woke as if given an electrical shock. Her nerve endings fizzed with the sudden pain from an unknown source.
"tchtchtchtch...." Hikari hissed, the pain causing her to mutter. Her eyes flitted over to her clock which read 1:43 a.m.
"Chikuso..." Hikari breathed as she got out of her bed. She left the room and went straight to the small balcony. Sliding the paper door open, she stepped out into the chilly night air.
Sekiei trotted out the door and twined himself back and forth through Hikari's legs, sensing her unease.
"Its okay...I'm fine..." Hikari murmured to Sekiei as she bent down to scratch his ears.
'What is it, Hika-chan? Did you have a night-terror?' Sekiei questioned Hikari through the mind link that she sustained with all of her pets.
"No...I woke up in pain...like...I was struck by lightning..." Hikari answered quietly, leaning on the railing and examining the ground 5 stories high. Something caught her eyes in the distance. A girl walking away from what looked like a party.
'In my vast experience, thats not good...maybe your sick?' Sekiei suggested, his voice in her head sounding slightly confused.
'Who has vast experience? A tree is more wise in the ways of humans than you are.' Kiiro's voice snapped inside Hikari's head, making both her and Sekiei wince in pain.
'Maybe your mind is predicting what is to come...' Mari's nearly silently voice whispered.
"Maybe I am...Or maybe some IS wrong with me..." Hikari whispered to the sky, gazing up wonderingly at it.
"I agree with Mari-dono myself." Kuroi concured with Mari, stretching her legs as she trotted out onto the balcony. Unlike the cats, Kuroi could speak with her mind and her tongue in the human language Hikari could comphrend.
"I have no forsight." Hikari snapped at her pets and returned indoors. She waited with little patientence as the her friends followed her into the apartment and closed the door sharply behind Sekiei who was last in. She stormed over to her room, turning around in the doorway.
"I'm going back to bed. Oyasumi." Hikari told them irritably, then slammed the door abruptly.
'What the heck is with her?' Sekiei asked Kuroi, shock in his mind voice.
'She gets like that. Normally when she doesnt want to believe something or when she hasn't eaten in awhile.' Kuroi said dismissively.
