This is an age old question...BUTTTTTTTTT do we tell the truth? When the "loved one" or "concerned mate / friend" asks...How was your day? WHAT DO YOU SAY...

Today I would say.... Crap - no one listened and it all turned really bad. Now tomorrow I have to pick up the pieces. *sigh* work - gotta love it *sigh*

Yeah,,but it's not always bad ;)

You're not talking about those days when youget to cut the skirt off a cute young thing are you? All because of that nasty scarpe to the knee?

I have a friend who was an EMT, said when it came to having to cut clothes, male or female, he always left it to his partner

Spent the better part of my day looking for 2 of my children who didnt turn up to school this morning,,, very very very outa charactor for them, got the police and everyone involved....Luckilly they were found safe and they just decided to wag school(1st time ever) eventully found them in a local park. Still had my wife and I on edge as the hours crept by,,,,,

Im overjoyed they are back but they are grounded for a very long time.

Nope, that because yuou seldom look in the mirror, what with them breaking and all when you do...

Jks..

When I try to tel my wife how the day went, all I get is a blank look, or jobs are too far apart in nature.

Toilet is clogged "again" and overflowed and went through the floor boards to my 17 years old boys room (large laundrey converted into a room)

Plumber came out on her own time(she had finished for the day) but didnt have the van only her personaly car, pulled off the old patch on the outside pipe with my hammer , got "SOAKED" in sewage and took(stormed) off really mad. She rung back later after a shower and said she would be back tommorrow at 8.30am with the needed python machine....

My sons Tv, dvd and ps2 got wet as did our washing machine, floor, some off his clothes... Currently have the tv and dvd pulled apart infront of a fan drying out and wont try them for a week. The ps2 he got recently and its still under warranty so I cant really pull it apart but it copped the least and I dont believe it will be affected,,Iv got it in in front of a fan but not pulled apart and will try it in a week also.....

As for the poor plumber she most certainly can say how her day is.
"Same crap, different day"

I really feel for her,,, not something you need at 4.45pm on a friday arvo. She probably had plans of a night on the town not getting covered in crap. Might buy her choclates or something as a thanks..

:loll:, is this the same plumber you said got covered in crap the other time?

Hopefully the electronics be ok. They can take some punishment though usually, I've had some stuff survive getting pretty soaked before.

Yeah mate same sheila,,, Ive lost count of how many times she has been out,,, its only gonna get worse too if the house owner keeps taking shortcuts and not a long term solution.

Yeah fortunatly nothing was turned on (just the tv on standby ) Im not too worried as Im a horder and have spare tvs and dvd players(so cheap these days, even got a new dvd/ divx player for 50 bucks not long ago) but the ps2 is new and was his birthday present so he is spewing over that. Oh well he can ask his younger brother nicely to play his untill it drys out.

:( my past 2 weeks have been crap...busted my right wrist and hand at work. I was pulling closed and industrial steel door - about 12 ft high, weighing a tonne. the door was really hard to pull, then it just took off and took me with it. my hand and wrist got crushed between a steel beam and the door, and my right shoulder got pulled sharply so that hurts too. I'm now home on Work Cover filled with strong pain relief and my arm is in a splint and sling. it's not broken thankfully but i've got soft tissue damage and sprained ligaments. so i can't do anything - no driving or lifting, no writing or typing with my right hand until further notice. *sigh*
