GASP! :o shall I say it again? :o GASP! :o

LOL - yeah, it can be suprising what doens't translate between countries sometimes

A Tater Tot is a potato product, shredded potato is pressed into a cylinder, seasones (I think just shortening) browned on the outside (still a bit raw in the middle) frozen and then when you cook them they are quite tasty, though it doesn't qualify as a meal unless your under 8 years or a bachelor.

I would say there are just about as many recipes featuring Tater Tots around here as there are for SPAM. You do know what SPAM is, right?

Minnesota (my state) is famous for Tater Tot Hotdish. The very basic recipe is a casserole made with ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, vegetable of choice topped with Tater Tots and baked. Many, many, many variations from there.

Pork Chops on the grill, several different salads, chips, and various desserts, we're havibg a family get together today since we won;t be able to get togehter on Tuesday to celebrate Independance Day. I just might step over to Wisconsin to buy some fireworks, real ones that go up a few hundred feet, not just fizzle about on the ground.
