I got two new Clown Loaches today. The pics may be a little blurry - they wouldn't sit still :loll:

You loaches must be tiny as the neon doesn't look much smaller.

Make sure you give them some caves to feel safe with

Thanks Gerry..I just held a "ruler" up to the glass of my tank and the blue neon in question is about 2cm (20mm) long and I picked 1 loach and he was about 4cm long (40mm). Sorry the picture looked deceiving :) Thank you for mentioning it though

congrats on the clowns Coast, I've got a crew of them and they are really fun fish.

very cute little fellas, hope they get comfortable and do really well for ya.

not sure of your set-up and such, but if you are gonna raise 2 clowns to really big, then I'd suggest go ahead and make it 3-4 if you can, they really seem to feel more comfortable and active in bigger groups.

just a thought, like I said I'm not sure of your set-up or plans and so forth. I've got a group of 5, had em about a year, and would add some more if I could. :D I have this "clown-school 125g" in mind down the road for mine when they outgrow the 75g they are in now. :P

okay, I can start ramblin on the clowns so holler if you want some thoughts.

congrats again, enjoy those little fellas. :)

:hello: Hey Big O,
Yeah I think clowns are cool also. I wanted 3 of them but the petshop here only had 2 small ones and a huge one. I didn't want to put the 2 small ones in with the big guy - not sure if they would get along  . I do want to get another 1 or 2 though ;). The clowns are in my big tank - 210 litre tank. They are sharing it quite happily with: a bossy guarmi, couple of bala sharks, tiger barbs, neons, algae eater, rummy nose tetra and some other fish....sorry I'm not looking at the tank, it's in another room :P . I've probably forgotton some one. Feel free to go on and on and on about clowns
