Scientific Name : Metriaclima estherae Common Name : Tangerine Zebra Country Of Origin : Africa (Lake Malawi) Size : Males 15cm females slightly smaller Diet : Omnivorous, will accept all foods. Breeding : mouth brooders Tank Setup : Rocky Malawi biotype Temperature : 26°C PH : 7.5 Hardness : N/A General Information These fish are great to keep, but make sure you get good quality ones, as I have had bad quality ones and the colours are horrible on them. Breeding Info Generally the same for all Malawians look after the water quality and they will breed. Very easy to breed fish if fed well and a cool water change is done, breeding is achieved, can start breeding from around 5cm, as sexes can be told at birth. Comments A nice fish, and if you get good quality absolutely beautiful. |
