I will assume that given I've done very little to promote Politicalwheel.Org at this time, not many if any will view these words of congratulations I intend to offer Barack Obama for accomplishing that which I would have not believed possible. Back when we were to have the Country's first Democratic Caucus in Iowa, it was collectively concluded that then Senator Hillary Clinton would have not only prevailed as the presumptive Nominee for the Democratic Party as the Forbearer but would also win a decisive victory in the General Election. It is presumed that President Obama did not win as convincingly as had hoped because of those who were so upset by Hillary's loss in the Primaries, they either did not vote int he general elections on November 4th 2008 or many decided to support Senator John McCain. Regardless, history has and always will produce conclusions not designed to suit all who participate in the process. Many have won merely by the inclusion of third Candidates which took away from any possible landslide victory. Former President Clinton won in 1992 merely by gaining a percentage advantage when Independent Candidate Ross Perot decided to drop out of the race in the 11th Hour. Regardless of how one gains victory, Victory was gained and Tuesday we will crown our new Leader of the United States, which hopefully will bring forth a united front of Well Wishers that this Country move forward in a positive direction for the common good. |
