The Secret Service would not comment or provide the number of cases they are investigating. But since the Nov. 4 election, law enforcement officials have seen more potentially threatening writings, Internet postings and other activity directed at Obama than has been seen with any past president-elect, said officials aware of the situation who spoke on condition of anonymity because the issue of a president's security is so sensitive. Earlier this week, the Secret Service looked into the case of a sign posted on a tree in Vay, Idaho, with Obama's name and the offer of a "free public hanging." In North Carolina, civil rights officials complained of threatening racist graffiti targeting Obama found in a tunnel near the North Carolina State University campus. And in a Maine convenience store, an Associated Press reporter saw a sign inviting customers to join a betting pool on when Obama might fall victim to an assassin. The sign solicited $1 entries into "The Osama Obama Shotgun Pool," saying the money would go to the person picking the date closest to when Obama was attacked. "Let's hope we have a winner," said the sign, since taken down. _____________ Admin's Note: Each & Every Election, we select someone that half the Country didn't want. Only a few times in our History of Presidential Elections has the elected President enjoyed what is deemed a Landslide Victory. Although the Electoral College seem to indicate that Barack Obama won decisively, the Popular Vote was much closer. The point is, history has proven especially in politics, you can not please all of the people no matter what you do. If you issued a Check for a $1,000 to each and every American Citizen that wasn't being taken from a program to would provide necessary service to one group or another, there would be millions that found something to dislike about this money. Whether you are a Republican, someone who wasn't quite ready for a Black President or you simply like the attention, the President Elect, has won his position by due process by the Law of the Constitution of the United States. I truly want you to understand this because it's the most important of all. Think about when John Kennedy & Abraham Lincoln was assassinated. Those acts hurt us badly across the Country. Even those who were not supporters of these Presidents, merely felt they had lost a contest and had planned to regroup to challenge another day. They didn't want these men to die. It creates incredible harm and instability to out Nation, when a President is killed. It also demonstrates that we are still a very immature not fit to stand as the most powerful Nation in the World. For anyone who might be thinking of committing something extremely stupid, do you really want Joe Biden to run this Country?
