We've all listened to the so-called Pundits tell us each and every day who is right or wrong in the Political Process particularly on the Democratic side of the fence. I was under the impression many years ago that News Reporters were suppose to report the News not create the news but when you call yourself a Political Analyst, you therefore have the right and according to them, the responsibility to manipulate opinions. Culprits like Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Rush Limbaugh, Jack Cafferty and others have decided to take it upon themselves to push their personal opinions unto anyone who will allow it. It's common knowledge that if you say something enough times, people will begin to believe it. The whole concept of "Playing the Race Card" had more to do with the Media than any person connected with either of the Campaigns of Obama and Clinton. I was watching the Chris Matthews' show a few days ago because I was too lazy to turn the channel. He played a Political Ad put out by the Clinton Camp and proceeded to suggest once again it was negative with racial overtones. To his dismay, each of his Guest, disagreed with him, leaving him entirely alone in the opinion. But what I saw was the whole point, as each began to disclaim his assertion that Hillary Clinton's Ad was actually very basic information about her intent as President, he cut them off before they were allowed to make their point. It was obvious he was offended that his attempt to stir up controversy was being shot down and for him that was enough for this Panel. Chris Matthews may have been around Washington for a long time but he's a horrible person to have a conversation with. He's the most egotistical person I've ever seen on TV. He believes his opinion is the only one that matters and he has the loudest mouth (volume wise) of anyone he has as a Guest. Even when he's a Guest, his opinions are to be front & center more than any other Guest. Then there's that Keith Olbermann guy who should just tell everybody that he's an Obama Supporter and contributes money to Obama's Camp. At least given this guy is making a living try to paint himself as one who get to the truth, that should be his lead in story. HEY OLBERMANN !!! TRY THIS .. "I'M KEITH OLBERMANN AND THE ONLY THING I WILL TALK ABOUT TONIGHT IS ANYTHING BAD CLINTON HAS DONE" Then there's that Cafferty guy who just doesn't like Hillary Clinton and I find it incredibly unprofessional for him to make comments which suggest the Clinton's are most likely going to use the White House as their private money making machine should Hillary Clinton get elected. You see the bottomline here is, both Clinton & Obama are victims of a Media gone insane. Many of those Pundits either blow up a story way beyond what was intended to create havoc or they suggest issue that were never intended, then present them to the Candidates for response. I feel sorry for anyone who takes anything these guys say seriously. They know nothing more than you or I about politics. My Partner's Avatar says, "Think For Yourself" I wish I had thought of that. But that's the whole point of elections. Now the entire Black Voters Base is up in arms over the Clintons when the Clintons have been advocates for Black Equality more than any other political figures in history. If any of the Black Voters were to stand back and think about it, they would truly see that when Bill Clinton was President, his entire focus was getting minorities into power positions of government. I was talking to a friend one day and we both agreed that people tend to forget that the Clintons are people with feelings and to see all the work they've done for Minorities over the decades, to see how they are being treated by them now, has to hurt. And the back stabbing by Bill Richardson after basically putting him in the position he enjoys today, has to be strange indeed. Personally I believe the Black Community has been duped by the Media to believe the Clintons meant one thing when they actually meant something very different. If the Black Voter wants to support Barack Obama solely because they would like to see a Black man as President, then that's a different story but if they're supporting Obama because of negative feelings about the Clintons, then they fell for it lock stock and barrel and the Media Maniacs are laughing in their sleep. |
