September 11th 2001- Corners of West St. & Liberty St. Lower Manhattan, NYC.
The Events of this day at that location set in motion the direction destiny would take for entire World. Precious lives were lost on that horrific & historic day and subsequent days to come including up to the very moment of this entry. And the financial cost of those events have staggered the World to a point that will most likely never recover but certainly not in our lifetime.

Americans are contributing Tens of Millions per day to fund the conflict in Iraq in supporting American Troops with the intent of stabilizing that region of the Middle East.
Intelligence would suggest, until America can truly understand the sheer nature of motivation these Combatives operate by, we will never win a War such as this.

Saddam Hussein once said prior to the Gulf War Conflict that America will soon learn by attacking Iraq, we will have then engaged ourselves in the "Mother of all Wars"

Well as I look at where we are today and what this War is costing Americans both in lives lost and injured plus the financial burden it has placed on us now and for years to come, it appears the Late Mr. Hussein, may have been correct about this.

This is a graph of what this War is costing us daily ... if this shocks you, then you haven't been paying attention to anything and it's time you got up off the couch and started getting tuned in on how this is effecting the way you live and how it will effect the way you live in the future.

The current cost is $520,445,564,197.00 and will increase by $6,000,000.00 by 04.10.2008.

Hey BC -

yep u got this right. And while Americans are having problems keeping jobs and paying bills and sending their kids to college. I think our government takes too much money from us in taxes. How can they have so much money to burn like this? Where is all this money coming from anyway? O I get it .. bcuz we pay 2 much in taxes. If the government took half of what they do, they would still have enough to do the things they keep talking about.

But my point is, I keep hearing these politicians say there isn't enough money for programs that we need and then I see numbers like this and that tells me they lie to us daily and we are too dumb and stupid 2 put the pieces together.

politicians lie all day long ..

Like it or not, want to or not, we are involved in a war against terrorism. If (when) a terrorist gets his hands on a nuclear bomb, the cost of the ensuing war will be the least of our worries. 9/11 was merely the prelude. It's going to get much worse before it gets better.
