Everybody knows who Benjamin Franklin is but few truly know the man and how he was probably one of the most instrumental figures in the Colonies separation from Great Britain in 1776. The first publication was in 1732 and ran for 10 years, that gave its' Readers the Weather Report and Forecast, Poems & Poetry, Astrological information and Witty Sayings of inspiration like one of Franklin's famous lines, "Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise". The name Poor Richard was Benjamin Franklin's pseudonym that he adapted for the purpose of creating somewhat of an alter ego for himself to make claims without the pressures associated with facing various elite that may have been insulted.
